You can go and check your blood if you have a deficiency of any of the vitamins which are in the nutrafol.
Or buy a cheaper version of nutrafol with similar ingredients. There are many.
For me takin iron, iodine and vitamin b helped.
And scalp massages 3-4 times a day

I want to add that I think I just figured out another reason why my hair is starting to grow back. In addition to washing my hair with a scalp massager and eating a high quality protein diet, I've also been eating a big salad every day with my dinner. I've been doing a lot of research and I've found that silica is an important ingredient to hair growth - and guess what contains a lot of silica...vegetables! Especially the green ones (green beans having the highest). So eat your vegetables people! And I'm only now realizing just how beneficial it's been to cook more at home. I used to have a terrible habit of always ordering for delivery. Restaurant food (as well as pre-cooked/pre-packaged, and processed foods) is cooked with cheap seed oils , which is inflammatory to your system. So it makes sense that the body prioritizes fighting against all that inflammation as opposed to wasting its resources toward the hair. Anyway, I've been in these habits for 8.5 months now and my new hairs are about an inch and half so I'd say it probably took about 6 or 7 months. So maybe try improving your diet if you can't afford all those supplements. I hope that helps anyone out there!

Facts. It's the nutrients from the salads. The scalp issue is inflammation and the salad is reducing the inflammation and increasing blood flow to the scalp and allowing the hair to grow.

I imagine that it would, bcuz any treatment that helps a problem the problem will return if the treatment is stopped if the problem isn't a quick heal-up thing like a headache, muscle pain, or cold/flu. Hair loss is a different kind of condition rooted deep in the body. In the body's gut flora, thyroid, hormones, etc.

I too suffered with traction alopecia from bunning. Viviscal worked for me along with the scalp injections. The cost of the Viviscal does not go over $28 on Amazon. The prices go up and down on Amazon. I recently reordered and the price was at a all time low for $23, so I took advantage and ordered six bottles. Think about it and give it a try, you won't regret it. Also get your levels checked because I found out that I had a vitamin D deficiency. I was started on vitamin D for a time and my hair is so much more healthier and thriving. Good luck on your journey and I will be praying for healing and healthy growth for you. Once I came to terms that I didn't lose the hair all at once and it was a gradual thing, it will gradually come back in and even healthier and thicker. Blessings always 🙏🏽👍🏾🙂

Try a salad everyday and add Turmeric to your supplements and it will fill in. Use Silk elements Advanded repair line it has ingredients to stop inflamation in the scalp such as pepperment oil, menthol, and Turmeric. I had that same spot and it spreaded but now my hair is completely back to normal. Oh yeah bonus tip use Renpure Biotin and Collagen Thickening Shampoo and conditioner it really help with growth as well I like to mix the Conditioner with rosemary and essential oils to make a sort of Mielle rosemary mask you will get fast results.

Thank you for taking the time to create the Nutrafol vitamin review series. I am dealing with a similar story/issue. I wore locs for 9 years and transitioned from locs to natural hair in 2017. I honestly didn’t notice or even take steps to deal with the thinning in my crown and edges until March 2023. I chose Nutrafol.
I saw a dermatologist who offered similar options to yours. I opted for the Nutrafol instead of the minoxidil, because I assumed the Nutrafol wouldn’t be lifelong… clearly I was mistaken. Thank you for the information.
That is very disheartening. As a woman it is hard to deal with the effects of hair loss. And to know that you’ll have to do anything for the rest of your life to maintain the results. It’s hard to wrap your mind around.
A friend of mine had very good results with minoxidil. She used it every day for six months and has now backed up to two or three times a week. Her hair has not reverted back. I hope you have success as well.
Oh… you should also know that rosemary oil was tested alongside minoxidil and found to be just as effective. Perhaps you can jump start with minoxidil and switch to rosemary oil for maintenance…

From what I've gathered from your video, there seems to have been some big mistakes the first is the unchecked heat damage and then put your hair in braids witch accelerated the breakage. My best advice. Get a keratin treatment and a cut wash your hair once after doing so keep your hair braided for 3 months at a time, take your multivitamin only use heat in your hair twice a year and most importantly stay out of it unless your oiling it it will grow that way.

Be careful. If you're taking high amounts of biotin like the amount in the saw palmetto supplement you're currently taking, it will skew your lab work results. They will not be accurate. Saw Palmetto with Pumpkin seed oil directly in your conditioner after about 3 months works wonders on the hair. I did it with a henna gloss(conditioner mixed with small amounts of henna). Once I mix the whole ingredients add aloe vera gel until it's a paste or even more runny then put on my hair and rinse out really really really good. I started using one of those scalp massagers and washing my hair more thoroughly. A couple months later I noticed I had a little bit more hair where it had receded, so I wonder if some of my thinning is due to scalp build up. I've also been eating a lot more high quality meats WITH the fat and chicken with the skin so maybe the extra collagen and protein is helping. Also, I discovered a company called Kerotin. They have supplements for only $35 per bottle that contains Saw Palmetto and a bunch of other vitamins like B's and D's. Haven't tried them yet but thought I'd throw that out there once you finish your bottle because this one has multiple ingredients for a very reasonable price. Looking forward to your updates!

I just want to pop in here and say I really enjoyed your video and I've also sold Nutrafol women's to some people. But at a big but here it's totally a misconception that you have to take something for life to keep your hair growing it simply not true.
It's often a case of what you think will work will work and I'm going to tell you now as an organic hairdresser I was able to grab people's hair back anytime with some TLC lots of gentle massaging of their own scalp which I taught them to do every night and simple things like Rosemary essential oil in a great seed oil a very highly refined oil worked all the time. Sometimes they did have to look at their diet and change it and yes they did have to manage their stress but you can do it yourself guys honestly I've done it for so many people. I'm not saying you to fall doesn't have great ingredients it does but it's very clever marketing and you should never have to take anything for Life your body has an internal Pharmacy you know. TBH it was a gentle gentle circular massaging that my clients did every night with or without an oil that made the head grow back and sometimes three times sicker and boy were they surprised. Anyway I hope this message helps somebody and if they want to know more they're free to DM me. Bon Chance
remember guys clever marketing practices makes companies a lot of money.... Right
