It's always so nice to see you, Gabriella! I love the ritual of making and drinking a post-breakfast cappuccino or iced latte (depending on the season) but I distinctly remember my daughter being so sensitive to caffeine early on that I often made dandelion coffee instead❤ The yarn festival sounded sooo wonderful! I so wish there were something similar here. Those skeins are beautiful. I'm sure you'll find just the right projects for them. Take care!
You are so kind Delilah!! Oh how dreamy that post breakfast beverage sounds 🤍🦋 dandelion coffee is such a treat of its own- I don't blame you!! 🥰 I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far full of joyful making!! ❤️
So wonderful to knit a while together with you again, Gabriella🥰 Sounds like you had an amazing time in the states😊 Happy 1yr birthday to your little one. Love the cute crown you made for her😍 Take care❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words Anne!! You brightened my day 🥰🤍🦋 I hope you are savouring all of your makes and enjoying the summer!! Sending love and wishing you a wonderful week of knitting! ❤️
Hi, I have just been dying yarn with reed and I am pretty sure that that is the only flower that gives this yellow and green tones. The only other way to get vibrant greens is combining a yellow dyed wool with indigo. So if you are sure they dyed the wool with one flower it must have been reed plums that gave these colours. I just found your podcast, love it!😊
Can’t believe I missed this!! Good for you changing your plans with the Anne of Cleves-why don’t you put the stitches just before the rib on hold, cut off the neckline, and knit up a different rib? I did that once and it went well!
It was so good to hear from you and your adventures. Congratulations to your sister. I love that yarn from paper crane totally felt your excitement. Happy knitting
Thank you so much Amy!! 🤍🦋 I made my own charts based on the number (rows and stitch counts of the repeats) in the original, and was very inspired by the motif I saw on the Ravelry project page "folk rug". It is coming along sooo nicely and the bulky yarn makes it work up deliciously fast. 🥰❤️
You have such a joyful presence ❤
That is so kind of you Anne, thank you so much🥰❤️

Thank you so much!! That must be it!! I am so in awe of the world of natural dyes, it seems like such magic 🥰
Yes, it is fun to do and all the colours you dye with plants go together it seems. But I mostly get shades of yellow…🙂

I love your rug sweater!! Did you follow a specific chart for your flower motif? I do love it more than the original!
