Nice desk and a good example of what one can do with plywood. Unfortunately I have to be a little negative, not everyone has such an array of tools. I really liked that you explained how one could get cuts for free or cheaply at the store.
Would be great if you also managed to see if it's possible to lend tools and the possible cost or alternative ways for painting (i.e. not airbrush). Maybe not every tool, but the less commonly used in a household among semi-hobbyists, such as airbrush, router and staple gun.

I appreciate the criticism, and I understand your point.
this is why I didn't technically class this as a "tutorial" so to speak, it was more of an informational video because I do understand that not everyone has the tools to do this.
however, I do plan to do some future project that doesn't involve so many specialised tools, and also show how you can do special tasks with basic tools, as well as showing some less expensive tools you can buy.
in any case, I appreciate the constructive criticism and thank you for your comment.

I think I missed the height of the tabletop from the floor. I have a desk now that in to high and yours looks perfect.

oh sorry, I did mean to put the CAD drawing in the description, I will do that.
the height from the floor to the bottom of the desktop is 750mm + the 18mm top, so over all 678mm.
hope this helped and thank you for your comment.

Hey man Love your vids, you taught me a lot about repairs concerning Technics Turntables. Little off topic but I need some advice and was wondering if you could help me please. Recently I went to switch on both turntables and neither of them have come on/ lit up/ done anything. Changed fuses in plugs, changed plugs in wall sockets but nothing has worked. Is there internal fuses that I can replace. Bit odd that both didn't come on at the same time. Is there any advice you can offer me. Thanks in advance for reading. And big love to you and your vids. One of the best teachers on the net!

That was like a UK version of New Yankee Work Shop lol...Norm would be proud.
£80 quid if you have the tools tho.
I have been looking for mitre saw for some time but cannot pick one (cannot get past the one bevel, two bevel, compound, blah blah). I just need one to cut a 45 angle for skirting boards and the like.. I was looking at the DeWalt DWS773 is that what you used in this vid?
