- This is my long time coming comparison video between Creed Windsor & Creed Royal Mayfair. Supposed to be the same fragrance Windsor was re-issued and re-named for Creeds new upscale boutique in the high end shopping district of Mayfair.
According to Creed this fragrance was originally created for King Edward VIII 🙄 in 1936. He famously renounced his throne and was given the title the Duke of Windsor.

I love the rose in Aramis 900 and Aromatics elixir and even Tea Rose ...oh,and Zino and Toy boy . And many others. A well done rose to me is amazing. I'm going to have to check this out

I do love, in its own way, Royal Mayfair. It’s very bracing but it’s one of the only Creeds I still own (also a 2017 Viking). I wish I tried Windsor! I passed on a decant from Basenotes a decade ago 😂
Honestly you are fine with Royal Mayfair ... Windsor is different but I think Royal Mayfair does this style more defined

Just bought a 75ml 2016 batch, brand new in box. This smells like honeysuckle to me. The liquid of mines is gold colored so I’m sure it’s mature enough and ready for wear
It is discontinued but discounter sites still have them and Facebook groups
Also fragrances doesn’t macerate in the bottle but they do mature my Bois Du Portugal is proof of this

Enjoyed the review. Windsor is my #1 fragrance. I have a 50 ml that I got a few years ago decent price.
I was first sent by mistake, a sample of Royal Mayfair. I didn't like it at first. I thought the eucalyptus made it too medecinal. Then it became a favorite.
When I first received my Windsor. I accused the seller for sending me Royal Mayfair. They are close, especially in the open.
Now I feel Windsor is a lot better. It becomes richer and deeper in the mid. The eucalyptus is softer.
I thought ut was a true story about Windsor comming out in 1930's. I thought it was vaulted, and then released to the public in 2009.

I agree this is my favorite rose fragrance but another good one is roja PDLN 3 but the rose is not as detectable in here as Mayfair but it’s still so so good.

Sir, if I can get a good decant of Windsor, I'll send it to your adress. That's just a justice in fragrance Universe, but Tabarome (without millesime) is really hard to find.

Hello! Just for clarity was you comment regarding gifting a decant of creed Windsor to me or Mr. Ramsey? It pop up in my phone notifications & wanted to respond if needed.
Back home in India , eucalyptus trees are dime a dozen. We had 10 of them grow in our backyard. We did not plant them, they grew from wild I guess. This they were authentic. Could’ve sold them to Olivier creed. lol.

Creed does rose realy well. By the way I tried the new Millesime 1849 and to me it smelled like a lighter version of Diaghilev.

Right after watching this I found an older 4oz bottle of Royal Mayfair in a Facebook group, approx 90% full. I snapped it up for $165. No idea if that’s a fair price but your video sold it to me 😆

I adore Creed Royal Mayfair but the problem is creed store does not sell it anymore and some online shopping mall are selling it. But it can be a fake one. So Where can I buy the original creed Royal Mayfair now? Please give me an advice.

Indeed this is special Ram. I haven’t smelled either. I am just tired of the games creed and amouage play. Especially the fish man. The fish man re-created two perfumes - Cristal and gold for men and women and they are sold for 1950 dollars. Yes. 50ml of each for 1950 dollars.
These days I am satisfied getting a decant if I really like or settle for 10 ml or 15ml. I am not paying the full retail price for full bottles.
Gonna review my vintage of Silver Cristal soon and discuss this topic soon... Amouage turning to the darkside hurts worse than Creed for some reason

Creed aventus absolu. What a disaster. Looks like the usual suspects on UA-cam got their free bottles. They are waxing eloquent about this praising this to sky high so much so that their followers think they need to run to the shops to buy the perfume like today.

@@RamseytheRamHey Ho Ramsey old chap ,Great video I do have and enjoy My 2015 bottle of Royal Mayfair haven’t sniffed the 2009 Windsor 😢but what’s one to do,lol anyways I chimed in on the Absolu Aventus comment,and am happy or embarrassed to announce😂, I have indeed purchased a bottle of said fragrance and am currently awaiting its arrival with bated breath 😊. Yeah seriously I did that very thing ,why? Well I do really love the profile and unhappy with the new OG formulation so I kinda like this deeper and more denser ,no pineapple yet fruitier version idea plus if it’s shit to my nose I think I can easily get my money back on eBay,so the collector in me said ,Go get ya a bottle Lynchy and bite the bullet 😅. Cheers man, I will give ya my thoughts on arrival,oh yeah my Diaghilev arrived yesterday and compared it with my 2 year old travel size version and they actually do match up wonderfully,relief for sure I can’t sniff a reformulation. Happy days ✌️🙏👍

@@dusanninic5372 cheers Dusan I surely will ,I have to be honest I did on hearing about this so called limited release scoff at the idea big time ,however as time went on and my interest did peak and the collector in me won out in the end ,plus I got a good deal with a high end shop here in Ireland online which were giving a fancy 10ml travel atomizer of OG Aventus free with the purchasing of Absolut for 320 euros and free shipping so I pulled the trigger. But I’m so happy with the arrival of my 100ml bottle of Diaghilev yesterday got it for 670 euros,it is my favorite fragrance ever so happy chappy right now✌️🙏👍🥂
How many sprays of Royal Mayfair do you use for a full wear?
One or two on each side of the neck and a few on the top of my hands
