Love the annotation feature so much, so fun to do group coloring using that

Yes! There are so many creative ways to use it! Group coloring is super fun and we used it the other week to do a quick 'dot vote' we had a few options on the screen and we had everyone use the stamp feature to do an impromptu dot vote! Was super fun

@@FacilitatorCards The chatterfall is a good idea. I used it today and it worked so well! It helped break up the monotony of the training.

Can individual breakout rooms have their own whiteboards?

Yes! Totally works! You won't be able to see their whiteboards when they come back to the main room unless they share them (it won't like appear in your whiteboard list) but yep!

Hi Meg, I'm wondering if you've come across devices in your facilitation groups that do not have the annotate tool and how you manage that? I've noticed that in my groups, there's usually at least one person on a Chromebook who is unable to annotate, or I just haven't learned how to help them find it yet. Do you scrap the activity if some people can't participate, roll with it knowing one person is left out, or find another way for them to be engaged?

      Hey Kera!
So I don't think there is a one size fits all answer to this because I would say it depends on how you're using the annotation tool.
      - Just for fun (group coloring) then just apologize and then ideally don't let it go on for too long.
      - Quick poll (having people vote with their stamp tool) ask them to private message you in the chat
      - Using it for a full activity - consider the person. Are they someone who is generally happy to be like "yah work arounds are great!" or are they someone who feels excluded and really feels hit by that when it happens. If the first, offer work arounds like messaging you directly or being sure to be like, "Emily I know you weren't able to add your thoughts what would you want to add to the board" OR have people buddy up and only one person for every two people gets to add to the board (and the other can only communicate in the chat)
Alternatively: you could try out a diff software like MURAL and see if they can use that.
BUT and this is a big BUT Zoom just gave a HUGE update to their whiteboard feature like this past weekend. I haven't played with it yet (look for a video on that perhaps next week if I can!) and that might change everything (including make it possible for people on chromebooks to try out) I'll test it out and report back!
