I like to think of it as a reminder that at certain moments they were just sitting there, staring at each other in thought. It’s pretty captivating to me, makes me want to know what’s going on in Mel’s head too. But it also keeps me grounded. The consistent rhythm of the ticking slows it down so I don’t feel rushed and on the edge of my seat, waiting to find out what happens next.
"Over the void" is still in production by the comic artist and if there is a new chapter for it then they are currently dubbing it, but let them take their time. For example, this comic is considered a 'good one' to me, along with 'seventh soul' and others. They should not comply to just one person, or just a group of people. They produce dubbed comics for everyone.

1:50 I was expecting Sans to make a joke about skeletons in the closet or something like that. Their house may not be haunted but something humourous is definitely going on there
What I think for this is that instead of it being two brothers of skeletons maybe the brothers were humans and then she fell and turned into a monster maybe she is a frisk but just not I don't know it could be the whole way around she could have been in the surface and then she used to have two brothers and one would be Sans and papyrus but instead they would be humans and then she fell down in the ruins and probably turn into a monster

I LOVE the way they had swapfell's personalities be. It felt like a *fell* universe, unlike a lot of other comics.
