Will show you how to unscrew something that won't unscrew ESPECIALLY THE SMALL SCREWS.
PLEASE READ-I only recommend for people that need it to fix it fast but it is best to take it to a commercial worker that know's how to fix it in a professional way. Thanks for watching and check out more videos
The feel when you have unscrewed 19 out of 20 screws of your laptop and then the last one just decide to not get unscrewed just because it wants to screw you over.
Me rn lmao
Me rn🤣🤣🤣
Bruh legit

Literally me
I like the effort he is putting in to show us how to screw it off, and holding the camera at the same time..
I was especially mind-blown by the fact that lifting up the screw NOT at the same time as trying to unscrew the screw did literally anything ... 4D chess right there for ya!
Maybe he stuck it on his head
If you look closely at his screw driver he is trying to use a hex screwdriver on a phillips head screw. That is the first reason it would not unscrew.
Ingrid Litten u r blind
he is not blind what he is using is actually called a 'torx' bit (star) hex is obviously hex he is meant to be using a phillips 1 but hes a moron..
Ali0The0King he is right ure blind take a screenshot and zoom

I had a small screw holding an a/c filter I needed to clean and I was beyond frustrated because the screw would not break free. So, I mixed up your suggestion, a tiny amount of canola oil and vinegar, I then used a cotton swab to apply the mixture to the screw. After a few minutes, and remembering to lefty loosey the screw came loose! Thank you SO much!
The screw became magically unscrewed during those 10 minutes of waiting for WD-40 effect?
Because it does look a bit higher than before those 10 minutes :P.
KxS I noticed that too!
I thought that
I seen it too
this shit actually worked for me ..not even had to wait ten minutes try it for real it literally saved a life
KxS EXACTLY I was literally gonna say this😂
haha trying to unscrew ny laptop aswell
Nice profile pic
Yeah me too
Same
same i got the black screen of death
Ik this was 4 years ago, but same
All that liquid going inside the machine no way am doing this to my laptop after maintaining it for 8 years! Lol
I would get the nozzle and just gently tap the spray trigger
***** Doesn't mean it wont damage parts.
Christopher Weaver n
Fantastic Jellyfish you need to upgrade anyways
just put a towel around screw to prevent unwanted liquid spill
Your video helped me with my problem, you saved me from almost having a mental break down 😭😭🤣
for those people who check the comments before watching the video, vinegar works as well as kissing it so dont use vinegar
Runicship8 what?
GamerGrl90 He's basically saying that vinegar is useless, just like kissing it would be useless.
😂😂
I can verify that...
I read this after I tried vinegar...

Will these substances affect the electronics? I'm doing it on a small slider phone
WD40 on a laptop isn't a good idea. I'd suggest using a soldering iron if you have no luck using an elastic band.
That's what I'm worried about especially on a MacBook.
Thanks! I had 8 screws in the laptop that were too tight. I've dropped with needle the oil for sewing machines and left it for 30 minutes and it all unscrewed finally.
Sewing machine oil worked for me too! I used a cotton bud to dab it on, waited 30 mins. Cheers.
Does vinegar work
@@HammadKhan-tl6bb On salad yes
7 years later this is this so helpful! Thanks!
The WD 40 is really good, just don't like mixing liquid with electrical items though
saaaaammmee
There’s another version of D40 that can be used with electric components without doing any damage. It’s used to clean them.
My anxiety level when he was spraying that without an attachment near those open computer holes.....
Bruh......saem
2:18.
You can see he pre-loosened it.
someone in the comments said that WD-40 as an upwards loosening effect
@@anorca2946 really
@@MindfulShorts69 no lmao
@@bm_peep48 Nah, someone did say that. Obviously it isn’t true but someone did say that regardless.
can u spray WD-40 behind a monitor with tight screws? what tools should i use for it as well?
I have one screw that would come out (it’s not stripped) and would just click and go back into place. I bought this laptop years ago and bc of this I can’t properly clean the fan
DONT spray the wd40 like the guy in the video, spray it in a cup or on paper or something then put a little drip onto the screw, liquid and circuits dont mix well together, sure it may not be conductive but it still isnt good for whatever device you are using
What about on a PS4 controller?
@@vfamily4396 use contact cleaner instead. i use crc mass airflow sensor cleaner to fix my drifting analog
@@Bos_Meong Forget it, I just bought a new controller.
@@vfamily4396 oh okay
What about an iPhone 7 screen replacement? I’ve been buying new tools, thinking that was the issue. I’m using the right screwdriver and the screws still aren’t coming out. On the motherboard and back plate of screen.
Right now I have a Lenovo that the heatsink don't want to come out, but I'm really doubt to put wd 40, I'm need to be careful because has resistors and other things near the heatsink.
Try looping dental floss around the screw & tug up as you unscrew.
smart
impossible for me because the screw in in a hole for me.
Nice one
I’m actually trying this with a thread, not workinf
Thank you so much
Use silicon oil ONLY. All the others damages plastic (makes it soft like a rubber). Also it doesn't trigger corossion and is save for electrical eqipment.
will it damage my motherboard? and is it safe to unscrew on a mental bracket?
@@KShauryaDwivediyes its safe
It worked thank you I’ve been trying for hours I used a little bit of the olive oil cooking spray 👍🏽
You sound like Kermit the frog
So true haha

I'm not doing this to my omen
I agree 💯 percent with you on that comment my friend 👋, all he needs is for Miss Piggy to be close to him to karate chop the shit out of him!!!!! LOL at that comment!!!! Thanks so much. I could not get the screws out of my Garmin Vivofit 2 with any of my small screwdrives until I tried your WD-40 trick. It worked perfectly !
your welcome
I would recommend using a cotton ball or a Q-tip to rub the oil onto your surface
"I got the right size" and the bit keeps slipping, yea right. The fix = get better screwdrivers. Never had this problem with small electronics and I've been fixing them for 15 years. Rubberband thing might also work.
I'm currently wanting to take the top off of my VCR so I can check the insides for dust, and the bolt is turning, but it won't come out. What do you recommend?
Turn it upside down
is it okay to use that kind of chemical on a laptop?
Does it work on your siblings Nintendo switch cuz I really need to fix a stripped screw
Nope im in the exact same boat as u, I'm gonna try & see if I can find a 1.5mm y-screw extractor...unlikley tho😪
What type vinegar do you use I only have the white vinegar at home, then you just pour it on the screw and let it sit for 10 minutes?
So nervous because these screws are literally around my motherboard (I think? Idk much about the inside of computers, but here we are 🙃) but will maybe spray on a q-tip and apply? Something about free-spraying around the guts seems dangerous…
Have you tried it?
@@MrInterpriser i did try it and it didn’t work.
Is he chewing gum at the start of the video? Sounds like he’s smacking and over salivating for like the first min. Was driving me crazy
We have been here hours trying to get a screw out thank you so much
your welcome brother
DragoFTW™ well which method did you use?
Elijahh Eugene I used olive oil
DragoFTW™ So you saying. using any oil MIGHT....work
Elijahh Eugene no not really but I used olive oil and it worded just fine
This is so obviously fake. The second time you started the video, the screws already came off. BS!
So?
That doesn't matter, the point of this video is to help those who are struggling with the same situation
Does WD-40work on screws stuck in WOOD?
Thanks it worked. Was having issue with opening my macbook..this video was savior..tried the 4wd method and it worked like a charm. The trick is we neee to wait for minimum 10 to 15mins for the 4wd sprar liquid to do its magic.
I would want to use this. But sadly my tight screw is near my cpu,, which is directly near motherboard on laptop. So I can't do this technique for fear of ruining the board
You are a life saver man, I was going mental. WD40 and some thread seal tape did it for me, you are the best 😊
I'm trying to open a ps3 controller and the screws are way in there so i cant get the flathead there so will it work w/o using it?
I’m trying to do it to my ps4 controller what did you use
What about a small screw that's badly damaged at the head? Like as a kid I always used a knife on it, when I didn't have the right screwdriver.
the first screw:😊
the final screw:💀
the screw in trying to loosen cant be pried out, what do i do?
try again or take it to a specialist
Is harder to ubscrew than desktop?
Watching this made me remember the simplest thing…just apply oil(lubricant). Duh. I was getting so frustrated till I saw t this easy fix. It worked. I was able to get the screw off my dryer back after applying some gun lube I had available. 😎
If you have WD-40,
know that it will be enough to make you happy,
because the screw becomes less crappy,
and will come out easily.
But to prevent harm to your electronics, use it carefully!
Im tryna fix my old psp but the screws are stuck, will this method help?
“You know what they call cheese in Paris ?”
“La fromage”
Or you could try a PH1x4 screw 😐 if you dont have none of those i seen that the nail was rusty once i took it out no problem or idk this helps too 😊
Ummm hmm. In an rpg my character after watching this would have -50 iq points.
This dide literally sprayed at it loosed it up off camrera and was like that WD 40 HELPS A LOT
1:35 is ur toes painted purple

something on his toe
He's Thanos...
no, it's just light. you can see it on his finger too.
Just put pressure on the top of the screw driver and the way your using that screw driver you don’t need one
bullsh%t, it was unscrewed already after 10 min !! it was obvious !
ITS BEEN A HOUR AND I STILL CANT GET THE SCREWS OUT!!!
They typically unscrew after about 61 minutes. Or any time you try, plus 1 minute.
when he is spraying the wd 40 look at his accuracy!🤣
I’m just trying to clean my laptop but I can’t unscrew 3 of them
Wait. So do all the liquids do the same thing? Well I’m gonna test it on my crappy olds 3ds so yeah I guess
Did it ever work...asking for a friend👀😂
Bro your the best my PlayStation hard drive would not unscrew and I needed to install a new One this helped so much
Mine is so tiny and I tried what you did but it didn't work

thx, I am taking apart my dad´s phone and this really helped.
oh no. ooooohhh no. you didn't.
Thank you so much ♥️, you're a life saver. It broke my screw but it worked.
I just stumbled over "you're" while reading ... *because* it was spelled _correctly._ These times are really taking a toll on me.
What if I use it for my heat sink screws? I don't wanna damage any electronics
"just use a little WD40 and use a small screw driver to take them out"
Hi buddy, we know about WD40, but is there a better trick like this?
Besides, a one word sentence like that you took about 7 minutes to explain it. What a teacher!
He literally shows some if you don't hense why it's seven minutes.
what about a damaged screw...any ideas?... there's one driving me crazy on my PS4 controller
This really worked and helped alot...even tho I didnt have wd-40
This helps a lot just make sure to be care full for Electronics
what can you do for a ripped screw on the back of a PS4 controller
I still can't get some screws or of my 3dr solo drone after using dw 40. what should I do now?

Don't use it on the electronic board. Just the shell of the laptop is ok.
Jakub Petráš dammnnnn

No way wd40 could be the cause of the failure...it is not even conductive
Valerio Monti dude WD40 will mess up any electronics
I just see him scratching the shot out of that trying to get the screw out
It’s moving but it’s not coming out
Can we use coconut oil
Looks interesting dude, but how come the screw head at 2:36 into the video differs from that at 0:37. You wouldn't be cheating there, would you ?
Will this work for the Nintendo DS’? My screws are stuck too. 😥
