Your videos are great, the main reason I love them is that they show first person perspective instead of just a cockpit/runway view, and this really immerses you. Too bad the FAA are biting your tail about recording while flying.
What an absolutely amazing video! Thanks for sharing such an amazing view with all of us aircraft enthusiasts! I have subscribed and look forward to more :-D
Have been on several night flights into Cleveland in the middle of a blizzard with wind whipping off the lake. Putting a plane down in that takes some special kind of s**t.
Would you be allowed to film if you connect the gopro to the plane and just not hold it and still fly or is that still banned? I saw some people flying and recording like that but most are in Europe or Asia.
Hey Mark, do you recommend getting a college degree to get in the airlines or it doesn't affect me that much to get a degree and I should just build my flight time up. Also, do you recommend Airbus or Boeing for a type rating? Which is more valuable?
Hey mark, had a question. Were you hired as an America West pilot or for US Airways before the merger with AW? Or were you hired afterwards? I've been pretty curious to see what it was like before US and AA merged.
AirbusPilotMark Good stuff man. You West pilots must have been through a lot of kerfuffle with 2 mergers now and the east pilots being stupid about them. Lots of respect. Just out of curiosity, do you guys still fly only ex-AW birds or are you flying legacy US and newer AA A320's? Also, are A320 pilots allowed to go back and forth between A330's? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to learn more about the industry.
We're all one big happy company now, so we can fly any A320 series aircraft on the property. The A330 would require being awarded that bid, then a couple months of training, including sim time.
@@AirbusPilotMark Hey Mark! Can you maybe upload a video of how you became a pilot and the route you took? It would mean a lot to so many of us future pilots!!!! Or at least tell me how you got to where you are personally. Thanks so much. Your videos are the most unique I have ever seen with aviation, something about it is so authentic.
AirbusPilotMark Hey man, it’s been a few years but I’ve since got my Private Pilot License with Instrument Rating, and have my commercial checkride coming up soon. Then I’ll be off to get my CFI ratings. I guess now isn’t the best time for the industry but hopefully I’ll find something to build time for when it recovers
He rattling out the whole industry now talking about chemical spray yea you mean fucking chem trails yea I know more then the average person does about that too

Meanwhile in some countries Ive seen the PM record on their cellphone during takeoff (not a mounted camera)
6 years later and this is still the best. Any update?
Hooray! A new terrific video. Like! Expecting many more awesome videos from you!
Thank you!

Hi Mark. Do you have any more awesome videos that you could share with us?
Thanks.
Great Landing! any chance of Atlanta in the future?
Where was this flight coming from?

The FAA says no filming of any kind unless authorized by the company for company use. Bummer.
it is amazing.
As far as possible requests - KPHL and KEWR would be terrific and much appreciated!
Any vids coming soon?
The FAA and company are cracking down on using non company electronic devices while flying. I'd like to, but I don't want to get called in.
CLE is my favorite airport. However, bias is very probable, seeing as I fly there 9/10 times I fly.
Akron is better
What airline do you work for now? American because of the merger?
Welcome to cle I live in cle

i know this is a late reply but it depends on the airline but usually its not required, also if you do get one it doesn't have to deal with aviation.
Where's the Micky Ds at Mark??
I don't eat there, but I'm sure you live near one. Good luck.
Was that a chemtrail comment?

AWA. Better airline than US Airways, but we're American now, and it's good.

“Tower Now”

You may be good at flying a plane, but you can't hold a camera.
It is mounted on the top of the First Officer's head. That's why it shakes from time to time. The pilots need their hands free.
