The burping in this video was pretty cringe
Get over it
It’s Fantano he’s literally been doing goofy shit like that for over a decade
It was a bit much this time
Two was funny but after that pretty cringe
He literally has an entire review where it’s just straight burping, this is tame in comparison
anticipating that neutral milk hotel burp was torture
The burping in this video it's material for unsubscribing
Very much true. It's annoying me way too much.
WHY THE BURPS
MJ had some of the best pop singles of all time but in all of his albums, he at least had one dud or skip of an entire song. Meanwhile, Janet's The Velvet Rope has no skips and every song is so good, it's insane
That last take made me cringe so hard
They aren't wrong tho
@@Torbinsky 😑
Not wrong in the slightest, love mj tho
what kind of soulless husk of a person do you have to be to not openly weep during ITAOTS
Thought it was pretty cringe, honestly. And I've listened to it several times in the hope I "get" what people hear in it.
@@psychokitty444tip, take like a year long break, then listen to it
It worked for me with London Calling, It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, and Master of Puppets
@@psychokitty444 soooo cwinge!!!
@xanatanuwu While some of the arrangements are cool, it's kind of disturbing to me that the frontman was having a mental breakdown, the record is clearly informed by it in the most abrasive, awkward, uncomfortable-but-not-in-a-good way-possible, and it's championed for that fact. If that was what I managed to bring back out of a very dark place and it was all people wanted to talk to me about, I would probably be a recluse, too.
Also some uncomfortable juxtaposition with it apparently being heavily inspired by Jeff's obsession with Anne Frank and containing overtly sexual moments.
The Velvet Rope being far better than Michael Jackson's entire discography is still controversial...
A lot of Michael Jackson fans are angry and still saying Janet Jackson is still living in King of Pop's shadow...
I agree with that take about phone calls in songs, especially the repetitive phone vibration sounds in songs that are just so offputting.
Controversial take: Unknown pleasures is a 6/10
I can get behind this
Janet is underrated but better than Bad? Better than Off the Wall?
I think as an entire album front to back, there are a few duds off of those albums but it's only a little
Anthony talking about Neutral Milk Hotel as if On Avery Island doesn't exist smh
neutral milk hotel's 'flaws' make the music more enjoyable tbh. Kinda like the vocals on the fitst 2 BCNR albums. Imperfection =/= bad
Your burping in this video triggered my emetophobia now I'm going to sue you for $700
Queen's best album is "Hot Space"
Beatles for Sale is my favorite Beatles album
Insane take
Arctic Monkeys has never had a great album and their debut is just a worse version of Is This It.
Olivia Tremor Control > Neutral Milk Hotel
Underrated band
Their satanic majestys request is better than sgt pepper…
That last tweet is blasphemy
would be even better if we could read the fucking tweets or whatever
i fucking love janet jackson but that last tweet is doing too much
Mine was culture 2 is better than culture 1
Bait used to be believable
Lift yr skinny fists is a decent 8
Every carti album is better than it
Unsubscribed
AJR is good
I seen worse
To Be Kind is just a less heavy Neurosis. Specifically Through Silver in Blood.
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is 7ish/10, that's my worst take
Deftones is utterly mid and never impressed me one in my life when listening to them💀
The Velvet Rope isn't even Janet's best record.
Nah! The Velvet Rope is her most experimental album in her entire discography...
Positive
1: Slipknot’s “We Are Not Your Kind” is the best album of all time 12/10
2: I freaking love Godsmack and do not understand the hate for their new stuff
2.5: that being said their faceless album is overrated and not their best
3: I love Eminem’s newer music and my personal favorite album of his is Music To Be Murdered By (Side A)
4: I generally like pop country music. Especially Russell Dickerson and Morgan Wallen.
5: Imagine Dragons is amazing and they have some really good music and they absolutely do not deserve the hate
6: Logics best album is Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (that’s not an insult that’s a compliment. I love it)
Negative
1: I think that most people who like 2Pac and Biggie can either relate to their music, or they grew up on it, or both. For me the answer is no for both so I don’t get it and don’t think they’re among the greatest. In no way is that disrespect it’s just “not my cup of tea” I guess
2: “Lover” by Taylor Swift is such an abysmal poor excuse for an album and I passionately hate almost every song. And I actually like Taylor swift
3: watching an Anthony Fantano review prior to listening to the album drastically changes my expectations (for better or for worse) and I really need to not do it
In my humble opinion I disagree with everything said in the positive section everything
damn i disagree with all of these
damn these are all horrible
Trance music is the best music genre ever. Yes, better than rock, pop, house, R&B or rap, so deal with it.
Tf u on about
@@ctb432I just get more emotion from one random trance song dropped in the 90s/early 2000s than from a lot what tends to get popular in any other genre during the past 30 years.
@@shocksystem8675 bro just listen to more music tf u on
@@lotsopontso4023 I listen to a lot of genres of music, I've actually heard lots of songs in every genre. It's just my take. I just simply consider trance my favourite music genre ever.
@@shocksystem8675atrocious take
TPAB is mid.
no
@drxmaturgy besides King Kunta, it has zero bangers. It's the Carrie Matheson of hip hop albums.
@@jwht8424Bros never heard Wesley’s theory
@offrecordsounds Good call, that song is legit. My point is GKMC is the go-to album for Kendrick. If I'm in the mood for hip hop, I'm not looking to TPAB.
Music is entertainment at its best the more abstract people make it. Example: Justin Bieber. While he has hundreds of millions of fans, there is also a sizable fraction of people to that number who despise his music. Now take Maudlin of the Well or Toby Driver. He (and the bands he plays in) have a considerably less amount of fans, but only a small minuscule amount of haters, if any. So the total fraction of fans/haters is demonstrably different between the two artists.
The only thing that can defeat this argument is if the same hundreds of millions of people had the chance to listen to Maudlin of the Well…would the majority population hate his music?
