Do whatever makes your self happy. And remember you can't make everyone happy!
No but you made all of us happy thank u
I so agree. And that is correct , you have nothing to prove. Life is too short. Life is constantly changing. Make yourself happy.
❤
You are not doing this for us, you are doing it for yourself and only for yourself. We are happy to follow your journey!
Abruptly changing your mind is a red flag. Make sure you understand the cause of your unhappiness. I.e., not what you think makes you unhappy. Consult a proffesional!
Eva. I am 58 years old and you inspired me to travel. I am now travelling throughout South East Asia and I am loving it. I am doing it in relative luxury but I am travelling none the less I am travelling indefinitely because of you. Thank you and do not listen to the assholes who are negative. Lots of love, Angelo.
Just found your videos the other day. I am 66 and retired now, but I know EXACTLY how you feel. We let ourselves get trapped by what we THINK we want at the total disregard of what we NEED. I admire you young lady and I wish I had your strength and sound thinking when I was young. No real regrets, but there were certainly opportunities and dreams lost. May your spiritual journey be as fulfilling as your road one!!!! God bless young lady!!
Welcome the club. Eva. This change of plans is called maturing, aka getting older. Nothing to be sorry about. Keep looking forward for the rest to come.
GOD has blessed you 🙏🙏 and now a new journey, (one day at a time sweet JESUS) 🙏 my deceased husband use to say we needed to stop and smell the 🌹🌹. He did but I'm still going 😭😭
When I lived in Netherlands, people would asked me what I missed most about home. They always seemed a little surprised when, instead of family or food, I said I missed the landscape of North America the most. I understand completely why you'd want to stay in the United States. We have our issues, but there's no other place like in the world.
I prefer Yakutia Russia, there is no place in the world like Siberia.
@@user-pd6tb7oq3e The foolishness of this comment and you thinking it's snarky is hilarious. Maybe you don't know the word "landscape". No, darling, Russia has NOTHING like the LANDSCAPE of The United States of America let alone North America in general. and yes we certainly have that which you love to believe is so unique. Or wait. Where are the tropical waterfalls and jungles in Russia?
@@2painful2watch everything you just said is why I would NEVER live in Canada
I’m from Seattle Washington and have traveled and lived all over the Western United States. A few years ago life brought me to Michigan. Michigan has its own beauty just like everywhere if you’re looking for it, but there is something about places like Washington, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming that becomes a part of your identity. Huge vast landscapes punctuated by sky scraping mountains and desert plains are home to me and always will be.
It’s OK Eva, I’m seventy years old and have done a lot of adventurous things, but believe me when I tell you that nobody’s life ever went the way they thought it was going to.go. We change as we mature, and eventually see “the big picture.” You’re wise beyond your years to recognize this now at this stage of life, and to have the courage and honesty with yourself to pull the plug and change directions. It often takes a period of psychological “wilderness time” to recognize this in ourselves, and no one can ever take away the memories of the amazing adventures you’ve enjoyed. After all, the old saying is that “it’s a woman’s prerogative to change her mind!” I say well done, and God’s blessings to uou!
Wonderful comment! I couldn't have said it better!
Well said,
I am 78 years old always single. Go Girl
I hole heartingly agree with your statement. Well said..
Yes. 76 years old. My late wife and I walked into Afghanistan from Iran. I had my 31st birthday in Kabul with a German chocolate cake baked by the German Ambassador's wife.. We walked out through the Khyber Pass. No one can take away the memories.
I turned 50 last week. A chronic disease that has sidelined me for fourteen years, all the anger from that, a broken marriage, and what my heart is telling me is that there is something in the American south west that is waiting for me. Maybe peace? Maybe nothing? More writing? (I just had my first ever piece published in Overland Journal!) My death? (I mean, I’m 50 years into this thing. It’s there waiting in the wings). And the Midwest just doesn’t do it for me anymore. There’s nothing holding me here. I’m leaning toward New Mexico. It’s more affordable than Arizona, Colorado or Utah. And far fewer people. Further in. It’s the only direction any of us can go. Maybe I’ll see you out there on one of those dusty back roads. Safe travels, my friend.
I hope you find that path that's Yours, and Yours only
Be bold! Do it! Life is so much more than remaining in one place! Maybe it’s THE place, maybe not. But the journey to deciding that is totally worth it!
Is it hard to travel with a chronic disease? I just turned 67 and have a couple health issues. Nothing too serious. I am at a crossroads of which direction to head. I am in California. Go to be by my daughter and grandkids, go to Arizona, stay here. Not sure.
@@justwannasay5454 You will never regret living closer to your kids and grandkids!
@@caitlinmartin31 Some people can regret living closer to their kids and grandkids. Some are born for the road even if it takes more than half their life to acknowledge that.
This remains me of the story of Robin Lee Graham, who back in 1965 at the age of 16, started on a trip to single handedly sail a small boat around the world.
What started out as a youthful fun adventure, turned into a terrible obligation.
About half-way around he met his future wife and really did not want to continue, but he received sponsorships from places like National Geographic with contracts and so on.
He did finish. It took him five years. He retired from sailing to Montana.
About as far from the ocean as you can get.
I read that book- Dove when I was 18. It taught me the importance of thinking through the possible negative outcomes of my crazy dreams rather than just the fun stuff. It may have held me back from doing some cool stuff but it might also have saved my life.
Did he have to leave his wife behind, or did she sail with him?
@karenperlman9676 As far a I remember, she would meet him at different stops along the way. She did sail some with him, but only on side trips.
I read his book too, many years ago.
Hmmmm.....Montana, right in the middle of grizzly country---something to think about. Mind you, the black bears of North America can be just as cunning and dangerous. As the the saying goes," BE PREPARED".
So glad to see you on YT again! You are neither mentally or physically weak, that was ridiculous. Take your time, it is a huge country with many beautiful places as you well know. Welcome to your new home.
The beautiful thing about the US is that you can settle down and plant roots; but if you get the wanderlust again, there's plenty here for you to explore. I adore you, Eva. We all do. We all started watching your channel for a travel vlog, but found a friend along the way. So now we're here less for the travel, and much more for the Eva. And as long as you treat life as an adventure, we'll be here for that adventure.
If you put down roots in the US you gunna get shot by a neighbour
Eva, very glad to see you back on UA-cam. As an old Texan, old enough to be your grandpa (79), I tell you that I have admired your sense of adventure and I respect your courage and your exploits. Your Posts while in Texas were especially pleasing to me. Your Post about your first Rodeo was a kick... loved it. I will offer you some grandfatherly advice: do what your heart tells you to do and don't worry about what others may think or say. You measure your own self worth by what you believe is right for you. In Texas, we have an expression for everything. To your nay-sayers... a big Texas "UP YOURS!!!" Looking forward to your next adventure. Glad you chose the U.S. and I hope you choose Texas to settle in. Being central to the rest of the U.S., Texas would make a fine base from which to continue your adventures. Love, Grandpa
Lovly post gramps !! Cheers from the UK
Between My (USMC) & Wife(USAF) 30 Years in the Military and 10 other countries, I still look at Houston as Home. I haven't Lived there since 1984, but still get a bit a that Ol' Texas Pride when I hear people talk about the Lone Star State, and with Eva's Posts I've Gotten Both!?!! Semper Fi Grandpa! 😉👍
Texas would be a great choice (as said from the SE coast) for all kinds of reasons. Lower cost of living, prosperity, ease of finding a reasonably sized plot of land, the climate (for gardening), and super friendly people.
Well Granpa😊 she just bought a saddle so there's that.😅 owning horse suitable property might be a idea.❤
It’s courageous to change your mind and strike out in a different direction. Go Eva!
There's a difference between pushing thru to a finish you desire and quitting something you realize isn't a direction you want any more. I applaud you for listening to yourself and realigning❣️
Eva, I appreciate your ability to put your thoughts and feelings into words. Nicely done.
So glad you are back! I have missed both you and Vilk! And as an American, I am honored that you find our country may be a place you want to stay in. And I love seeing my country through your eyes. It’s very uplifting. Thanks for having the courage to take time to evaluate and change plans. Can’t wait to see what comes next for you
I think one of the most important lessons I learnt growing up on UA-cam is to live for myself and not for the internet. Audiences and algorithms change their priorities all the time. Allowing myself to honour my own flexibility (whether in what I made or in upload quantities) was central to my fulfilment. Thanks for the early newsletter preview, lovely to see ya excited about this project x
The story i made today will leave you speechless I'm sure that
I love to hear that I am not the only one how has just recently given up on his biggest dream. And I share this feeling of being freed of living for the future, for some virtual path that obviously does not leave any pleasure on the way. There is no gratification in self-improvement if the goal that is set is no longer, or has never been your own.
Loved your Video, and best of luck for your journey.🌴🌴
Where is the god???
I haven't been following you long, but have enjoyed everything you do and share. You be you!! Enjoy your journey and where it takes you.
Good for you! We all go through transitions in our life with what we want. I look forward to seeing what you do next!
Happy to hear your voice again. You and your stories have been missed.
Don't feel like you have to continually grind out videos, we will all be here when you put them up. We have all been missing our friend.
Travel safely Eva.
Steve Zillicox, That was awesome advice you gave Eva. Sweet girl she is.❤
"changing your mind, changing your dreams is something that you're allowed to do", I can relate to your situation Eva, looking for some stability after all the crazy adventures!
Changing your minds and dream all the time you never fully accomplish anything. Theres a start but never a finish. And at the end of your days you can say you've started but never saw the goal.
@@diamonddogs6037 But also you want your finish to be the finish that you really want. She is young enough, she has time to work out what that is going to be.
So glad you are going to explore the U.S. There is so much to see!
Do you know what you and Vilk will do when you are tracked or/ and attacked by a bear ( a person running is an open invitation to run them down and tackle them viciously; and dogs usually make such a fuss that the bear is usually angered into attacking the ' slow moving' human who is nearby). But I guess I'll have to assume you have thoroughly discussed the ' elephant in the room' issue of bear confrontation (without weapons) with experienced outdoorsmen. The odds are in a hiker's favour that they will not stumble upon a NASTY bear situation---BUT if they do the terrible odds become getting mauled to pieces or/and eaten. That is why wilderness hiking ( especially solo and unarmed) is technically like playing Russian roulette---some people embrace that sort of thing and some people simply KNOW BETTER than to play roulette out in the wilds..
@@diamonddogs6037 - I agree. It's not supposed to be easy. If it were, you wouldn't grow as a person, which I think is the real benefit of doing these projects. Not for the videos and the likes, but for real growth and internal validation.
Changing one's mind about happiness is what adventures are about. It's not the destination but the journey, they say. I am happy for you. Stay young, happy and healthy as long as you can Eva. Life can change in a instant and throw you in a totally different path.
Hi Eva.
I've been watching your videos for years. You've become almost a close friend. One of the things I've observed throughout my life is how our mind changes and how we can adapt to new realities and new moments. For me, what we need most is meaning. Happiness, like other feelings, comes as a natural consequence of things. I wish you success in your spiritual pilgrimage.
Guess whose back in the "Building"!❤😁Welcome back! Your content, where ever you decide to go or do was sorely missed! ❤️❤️
Eva, this is exactly the content I keep comming back for. It doesn't matter if you take 4 months off from YT or if you decide not drive the PanAmHW, it's the honesty and the struggles that we all can relate to and that you let us take part. Life is constantly changing- so are our plans sometimes. Admitting that to yourself can be incredibly hard but also very liberating as I know from personal experience. Thanks for taking us with you on your journey!
I only recently discovered your channel. It takes a great deal of courage to embark on a journey such as yours. It takes a great deal more courage to change course during the journey. Putting aircraft controls hard over during flight put a great deal of stress on the craft. It takes a strong airframe to survive.
May you always have a tailwind and always make smooth landings.
When what you love becomes work…it’s time to reevaluate and step back.
Eva I am so very proud of you! Not only are you able to come to terms with yourself and understand that there is a stopping point and Gathering Together. Your mental health is so important! I am so honored that you invited us in to share your life. Thank you and thank you Vilk. My cat send him a warm meow... purr.
Life changes we change, don't ever be afraid to tell us you have changed, that's just proof your growing, and we want to see you happy, your more important than the views and youtube, your special and amazing never forget that.
There is the simple truth.
Glad to hear youre doing what is right for you, not just sticking with something to make the internet happy. Youll never make everybody on the internet happy, you should only worry about doing what is right for yourself and the ones you care about
You don't have to explain yourself to anyone. Looking forward to watching what's next for you. Pet the pup for us!
Welcome back, beauty! Love your reflection and honesty and can’t wait to see where this journey takes you! See you on the road, sister!
I love your channel Nikki
It’s so rare nowadays to find a content creator who is authentic to themselves. I feel your heart when you said, I don't have to prove myself. I was so excited to watch your comeback video with new perspective in life. Love it! Blessings to you! ❤🙏
lol, I'm not putting her down, however back at her last viral video at Mexico I knew she would burn out. The way she started and presents herself she was kind of setting herself up to fail.
It was just such a big spure of the moment decision and headiness of youth presents us with inexperience and grand expectations.
The current younger generations are learning lessons that life's not what it first seems and it's not fair.
Modern life changes way too fast these days.
Constructive criticism is digital native generations have some generational ingrained flaws of certain sense of conceit, impatience, and nonindependent thinking older generations don't. No one's perfect...🤔
Here's the real burn, the downward spiral goes deeper and is a well worn track. We realise we're not the first person to have changed expectations. Everyone's special, and we were all the "dumb kid" once. 😂
Have fun but trust yourself enough to put some roots down, youth is the best time of your life and it goes so fast.
The only guarantees in life are death and taxes.

Although the mid parts of your comments are part of reality for and from most people. My opinion is that you calling it or saying that she has "setting" herself for "failure". Is inappropriate, careless and at times belittling her and the people that supports her endeavors. It's an insult to her and not appreciated.
Failure is failing to follow the hearts desires and to NOT be truthful to one's self.
She's pouring her heart out by sharing her life with all of us. Life itself brings changes regularly to ALL, even if anyone fails to see it, accept it, recognize it... etc etc.
Many people here would like to see her keep on traveling. But we should support her life changes according to her own will and decisions. Constructive criticism is great in many circumstances. But to label someone deciding to make changes is uncalled for....
Peace and blessings to Eva...and everyone that's in contact with her, here and out there in the world.
Life is short, support one another, otherwise..........
(Fill in the blank)
@@robrod3097 I was expecting a long comment back. With travel channels there's always some sensitive (American) fans that take everything too personally.
Everyone is has an opinion, if you can't handle that then that's your problem.
Thanks for the video, Eva! Good to see you and Vilk again! Whatever you want to do, I'll be happy to watch!
Found your channel recently and was blown away by your conviction, strength, courage and sense of adventure. Love it, love U. Keep on keeping on girl. U R an inspiration
When someone says you’re weak for changing your mind, it says a lot more about them than you. Listening to your inner voice and admitting to other people that things have changed is true strength. Respect.
Find a new direction life is short.

Good luck to you and Vilk on finding a well deserved home. Loved you your video journey and your fur kid. Thank you so very much for letting us join you in your journey.
Just three days ago I happened on your vlogs for the first time. I haven't watched more than a fraction of them so far, but already I feel I know you. And that is the secret of your You-Tube videos; you appear to talk to each one of us individually, one to one. You talk straight into the camera so naturally, so spontaneously that one feels privileged to be sharing a part of your life with you. And now it's all coming to an end : it is clear we are the losers, but are grateful for what we have shared and obviously wish you every success and happiness in your new style of life. Your honesty and integrity are amazing, and we, or more intimately I (!) hope you will not totally give up making videos which you conceive, execute and edit so well.
Girl, you are an absolute legend! That person that called you weak sounds toxic and not someone who wants the best for you! I'm glad you gave yourself some grace and permission to do what feeds your soul and personal growth. Much love and blessings 💖
💯
You said, "you are glad we stuck around," in reality, we are glad YOU stuck around. I am looking forward to your new venture just as much as I was looking forward to your old venture. As a native Texan, there are many places in the US that I have yet to visit, and I get to visit those with content creators like you, and many others. I also have learned about and experienced many other countries and people through the many creators on the YT. The world is a phenomenal place, and I can't wait to follow your travels in search of a "home." Just remember, you are already there, somewhere in the US. Welcome home. Cheers from Texas! And, the only people you need to make happy are you, and well Vilk!
I just found your channel today, 1st vid was Jarbridge, 2nd vid was about leaving UA-cam for a while, and 3rd video was this one and so amazed at everything you've created so far. As far as changing your mind, we are all human, we change, we grow; there's nothing flaky about any of this. It's exciting to be a nomad, but reality is really about putting down roots, and from home base you can still explore. I'm actually relieved you said you didn't want to go through South America, it can be dangerous in some places. You've got a subscriber here!
Glad you are listening to your heart. I’ve never been to Montana but I know when we arrived in Oregon, it felt like home. Happy adventuring.

Welcome back Eva! ❤️
I can certainly relate Eva. I had a dream to restore a 1967 Ford Fairlane. I spent many years taking it apart, saving up and buying parts and slowly putting it back together. Next thing I knew, 20 years had passed. I had stress and anxiety about getting it perfect, obsessing about it. I ended up selling it and buying a different classic than was in good shape that ran and drove. I felt liberated from my dream and I'm ok with that!
Good for you! Give yourself the permission and grace to do what you want, and what makes you truly happy in this moment! PS. You've done a really lovely job with your boy. I'm a trainer and always notice the little clips insterted with him doing spins, twists, leg weaves forward and backwards, etc. Fantastic job with a high drive working breed that needs a lot of dedicated time and training to keep them happy and healthy, both mentally and physically. ❤ Sending good vibes and love to you both. Safe travels, always looking forward to your adventures, no matter where they take you!
Eva, I am so excited that you are on this new journey and unapologetic about the changes you're making in direction!
I hope you find a great place to live Eva. As an American I can say that it's not perfect but people are in general good hearted and get along despite what you might see on the news.
I'm so glad you're back Eva! And thank you for loving our country... she needs all the love she can get! You and Vilk are such a welcome addition, we're lucky to have you here! Safe travels!
You absolutely nailed this video. Your revelation seems to have relieved you. Thanks for being so candid 😊
Nothing is set in stone Eva, as we grow we change and our dreams change. Welcome back! I'm looking forward to following you on the next leg of your incredible life journey. xxx
So happy to see you and Vilk back. I wish you both all the best of luck finding your home and on your travels accross the USA.
It's so good to see you back on UA-cam!Just know that we all follow you because your massive heart, your real honesty and your great personality. We don't follow you because you drive the PanAm, we follow you for your stories, whatever those are, how you feel and wherever those adventures (or even non-adventures) take place. (And we follow you because of Vilk too, of course :) )
It’s great to see you back no matter what you are doing. You got to follow your heart and do what’s good for you ❤
This makes sense. Good luck on your journey. The dog is looking great!
Whoever said you're weak obviously doesn't get it. By saying you don't want to do it anymore means you're actually very strong. Great for you for realizing that! Cheers from Florida!!
she is strong but stupid and lost, a victim of modernity and feminism
Completely agree with this! Also the person clearly hasn’t seen any of Eva’s adventures! 😊
I think that person was just being A troll
And much easier to critique sitting on the couch staring at your phone than actually getting out and doing something
As time passes, we change, and so do our goals. Ending one goal to pursue another is transformative, not quitting or weak. To say "I just don't want to do this anymore", is strenth not weakness. Weakness would be to carry on because other people expect that of you.
Eva, you do you. We'll be here just the same.
Putting your life out there (online) for everyone to see undoubtedly has enormous pressures. That's why I am so very proud of you for making your own decision and sticking with it. It's YOUR life and you are the one that must make decisions about how you want to live it! (Selfishly though, I do hope you will continue to post videos regardless of WHAT you decide to do!) You seem very happy out in nature, so my guess would be that that sort of place would make you most fulfilled, however there is no doubt that you will know it when you find it! One piece of advice though, when you think you have found the place where you really want to settle down, I hope you will see/visit it in different seasons and/or under different circumstances. Things often look different when you are visiting or on vacation vs what it might be like if you are a permanent resident. You have such a sweet, cheerful personality, I know you will find peace and happiness and lots of friends wherever you decide to settle down. Best of luck. Stay well and healthy. Hugs from Texas.
So excited for your journey and your renewed commitment for your happiness. It is a wonderful thing.
Eva, you said “I need to do things I actually love doing”. I think that’s the ultimate goal for most people. I also think most of your followers want to see authentically great storytelling more than anything
Wow how timely this was for me.I so needed to hear this!I am a 66 year old guy grieving about a decision I made and feeling flaky about changing my mind but this helped me profoundly. Thank you brave young woman!🎉
And she is very brave indeed!

First of all, you did an amazing job with your dog. Those dogs can be a nightmare if not trained properly and puppy puberty phase is very hard. Second, you are very strong for standing up for your own reality, boundaries and wishes in front of so many people. It takes courage to live the life you want and you are a hero.
People say negative things out of jealousy and ignorance. Not because you did something wrong
Stay powerful and vulnerable, honest and authentic you are doing amazing ❤
Agree with all of the above and some people don't consider the breed when getting a dog (not Eva!) and it's not good for either dog or owner
Probably a good thing to get off the daily grind of UA-cam & travel for the last 4 months. Clearly she focused on her dog & herself for awhile, which shows. Agree... she did a good job with her pooch. Very cool demonstration at the end of video.

hello Eva, just wanna drop a thank-you message to you. I am Luna from Macau. I have been inspired by your videos to live my life. I didn’t have the courage to leave the comfort zone and my family, but recently I successfully applied the working holiday visa of Canada, I finally have the courage to take the adventure.😊 I wish that you can continue to take videos about your raw life and keep inspiring more and more people to live their life. Girl you do you. I’m just glad to see you are doing videos again.
Happy your back, changing dreams is ok. Ultimately I like your videos and all I care about is that you are happy and safe, and making videos.
Welcome back! You were missed. You continue being an inspiration for many of us, whether you do the Pan-American road or the west to east, or try to drive your home on the ocean or live in a traditional home. Those things don't dictate why we all look up to you, those are just the circumstances around you. Your strength and perseverance in being true to yourself is an example to follow! Thanks for being genuine.
It's absolutely crazy that you first drove from all the way through USA to Alaska and then back. No wonder you were burnt out and tired! At first I was a bit sad of the change of plans, I was so invested in your trip. But now I'm glad you did it! You look so happy and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your Idaho staycation for now.
Yay! I would definitely put happiness up there with the things that truly matter, so I'm with ya ;)
I thought that looked like Idaho!!!
Eva, I've watched you over the years, with enjoyment ... but I LOVE the new you and turn of events. What a great lesson for us all in this new video, that you have shared with such clarity and goodwill. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this video. I can totally related to this one. One year ago, I quit my job here in Greece (I wasn't feeling good and appreciated after 12 years) and starting preparing for moving to Norway. I get my degrees recognized, starting learning the language and in order to have no "escape" from my dream, I told everybody. And I mean, everybody! I packed my most necessary things and I moved to Norway. I had the (smart) idea to go for a month via Workaway in a Norwegian farm, helping by volunteering a Norwegian family with their daily tasks. I visited some towns, Oslo, talked to a lot of people about their experience. As the days were passing, I started realizing that this place was not for me. But I wasn't ready to tell everybody that I had decided to come back, and I couldn't persuade even myself. I finally realized that I was searching for happiness and the place was not the problem. I found the guts to tell everybody that I was returning home until I would decide what to do in my life. I also went for a short trip to Amsterdam and I had a great fun. It's been one week since I came to Greece, and I have a lot of things to put in place in my mind, but at least, I now know what I'm searching for. I just had to go too far to admit it. You have proved that you are so courageous in so many occasions, and you don't have to prove anything to anyone. Enjoy your journey and I'm wishing you all the best.
Losing that layer of anxiety “of having something to prove” can be so freeing and peaceful! wish you the best! We all deserve to be HAPPY!!
Yay!! Love this video. Nice to see you back, Eva! Absolutely agree, being authentic is what’s important. No need to prove anything to anyone, you’ve already accomplished so very much anyway!! 😊
I think striving for greater achievement can sometimes be a trap, because it would easy to stay locked into that mentality, but that can draw you away from the joy of the journey.
I look forward to seeing your next adventures in the search for a home for you and your (now very big!), puppy! Thank you for all your work to bring us all your brilliant content. I’m really glad you are doing what makes you and your pup, happy! 😊💖🐾
You can do whatever you like! You know that. I think you are awesome, your content is great!
Glad to see you back and doing better and happier. Can't wait to see the adventures you end up on.
It’s so refreshing to watch a person be positive about the country I love. We definitely aren’t perfect but it’s a beautiful place with many beautiful people. Excited to watch where you decide to buy!
Decisions to buy are so critical, particularly to someone with no visible means of support.
Fantasies keep us all going these days.
@@archstanton_live Her means of support is quite literally...visible.
Welcome home, we love having you here. hope to run into you on our travels.
Good for you!!! I am an "old lady" (67) and have had so many adventures, tried so many things, loved so many people, including my only child (a son). I am not to same person I was when I was younger, and neither will you be. Change is the only constant in this world and plans are great for guidance, but they must change along with us. One big difference is I didn't have the internet and social media full of "witnesses" to this process along with all their opinions.
Life is about living 'your' life. It's your journey to be lived as you decide. Sharing your adventures is up to you and not about pleasing others. Thanks for allowing us to come along. Happy trails Eva.
Congratulations Eva!
I started watching your adventures way back in Nepal.
I think there’s no place like home and you’ve finally realized this. Having a home base will make a huge difference. And of course you can still go on adventures but have one place that’s your cocoon. Your place of comfort.
Best Wishes!
whatever prompted you to change your course is a very special kind of listening; congratulations!! when it's all said and done there mostly likely will not be any unnecessary regrets. kudos!!
I just started following you 2 days ago. Enjoy your video's, and wish you nothing but happiness in whatever you do. Im sticking around for the journey😎
I can’t believe I shed tears of joy today…because of you and your announcement!
Best wishes to you!
Thank you for taking time for yourself to feel things out and thank you for sharing it with all of us viewers!
I have so much respect for you!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Eva, Never forget this is Your Journey and we are all just along for the ride!. You have accomplished so much and traveled more than the average person. Always do what your brings happiness and joy into your life. We will be there with you in spirit!
Thanks for who you are and what you do. Stay honest with yourself and your viewers.
I’ve just found your channel and weak is the last word I would use to describe you. I have just scratched the surface on your videos but if I had to use one word I would say inspiring!!! You don’t owe anyone anything. Please know that you are loved and respected for what you have thankfully shared with us.
I still can't believe someone sent that email to you. We all have the right to remain silent if there is nothing good to say. No one has a knowledge of my destiny but me. Eva, keep following yours. We are allowed to stop what we are doing and listen to our inner self. Happiness comes from within. ❤🙌
It takes a step of bravery to realize that your initial dream may have changed and to take steps towards that new dream. I'm happy for you Eva and thank you for being willing to share this with all of us. It seems like you have a weight off your shoulders. Wishing you all the best in your new endeavors and adventures!
Glad you changed your mind. Keep posting!
I really appreciate this video Eva. First, your testimony is encouraging. We (for sure me) often think linearly. We make one move, one decision, one step and that requires us to take the next step on a specific path. However, that is not life. Living gives us opportunity to make a 90 degree turn (even a 180 degrees if that is what we desire) and discover new moves, make new decisions. I am 67 years old. I finally learned this lesson a few years ago when I began hiking America's trails. I am happy for you to learn it now and look forward to seeing where life to the fullest takes you.
You're not weak. That strength to go against the grain even if it's something you implemented is remarkable. Make yourself happy. That confidence is incredibly attractive. Homesteading takes a lot and we would love to have you here. You and Vilk are always welcome here in my eyes. You are not weak. You are so strong, motivating, and inspiring.
That email was from a sad loser who never accomplished anything significant, attempt to bring others down to their flabby lifestyle.
@Phillip Banes Far less foolish than half of US Americans and their over processed toxic food and flabby lifestyle. But YEAH...she should continue to follow her best instincts and desires.
@Phillip Banes In your opinion, ... which is valuable, however, I feel that Eva has proven that she is capable, not only to do the entire expdition but also to NOT do it, and to give clear reasons why she's not doing it (for now).
@Phillip Banesthere are dangers around every corner. You can't constantly live your life in fear. You don't know her capabilities, you've simply seen a fraction of what she shares on social media. Calling someone else's actions foolish when you aren't in their position is your opinion of them and their decisions. Opinions are like assholes... You know the rest. I don't understand why you come to a video to propogate negativity. I guess some are so unhappy in their own lives that they want to protect that against anything encouraging. 🤷🏼♂️
This is my first viewing of your channel. I was first surprised that you have 1.64mil subscribers. But after checking out some of your videos I enjoy the fact that you are not annoying, and did not resort to bikini photos as click bait. Bravo. Hope your new life journey brings you happiness.
I agree, I watch a number of sailing and travel videos. It’s always a turn-off when I see channels where people (usually a couple) travel the world and yet virtually every thumbnail is a t & a shot of the woman. My favourite was van couple who always did this including one where one of the women was chopping wood in her sports bra in Canada when it was like 5 C, overcast and about to snow. Lol
I know that UA-cam is super competitive with travel videos and everyone needs to do what the can for clicks but this fact makes Eva’s channel and Itchy Boots as well, really stand out.
Yes Yes Yes! Congratulations on re-finding the purpose your soul yearns for! I'm excited to follow you on this journey
Thank you... I missed your insights over the past months. But I get it, I really do. Making our own choices is our best way to wellbeing. You have a gift of storytelling so no matter what you do or where you go you will be your best self when you do what comes naturally. I have personally found this particular video resonating with my own journey, so thank you for sharing, It mattered. I wish you so much success in your journey of life and will continue to drop in on your channel. May you both be assured of the care and appreciation we have for you. Keep being you! James in Scotland
First of all… WELCOME BACK! We missed you!!!!
Thanks for sharing your new plans! Of course life has changes, a lot, but it’s different when your goal is not the same… but it is ok!
What we all love about you and your channel is that you are authentic, and you have shown us a lot of the world thanks to your adventures! Now it’s time to continue with your new adventures!
I don’t know who’s got the guts to say to YOU that you are mentally weak… man… if he only knew what does it take to travel alone, record, edit, and finally share your live to millions… damn… but we’ll, there are always haters around the web!
Cheers from Mexico Eva!
So wonderful to see you and Vic again. We are so happy you are following your heart! 💓 Others have already shared the Pan-American highway sojourn but nobody will ever do what you're going to be doing. And we're going to discover the wonders of USA in a whole new way through you and Vic 🎯
I believe it’s Vilk☺️
@@minime7375 actually it's Wilk - Polish for Wolf
@@Ball-ur4mx I guess W is V in Polish spelling like in “Pan Wolodyjowski”☺️. I knew it was Polish for wolf because Eva said so (I don’t speak Polish). I just corrected OP for that reason, “Vic” didn’t sound very wolf-y.
@@Ball-ur4mx So, even Eva herself has got it wrong?
@@gertdehaan4005 I've never said that. She's Polish so she know what she's doing. But I know she has lots of non Polish speaking audience ;)
I’m sooo happy that I found your channel! You are wonderful and it’s fun tagging along on your adventures. And now back to binge watching. ❤
We just watched this episode as the first one of you. You are beautiful! Very lovely to listen to you. Good luck on finding a home. Denise & Brett
I’m soo happy you are going to do what you like, not following someone else’s ideas. You left everything in London to be happy, never forget this was your start of the journey ❤❤
Sounding more American to be honest! Thanks for seeing the beautiful parts of my country! Glad you enjoy it!
The way she pronounces "southern" isn't American at all.
@@bigscarysteve well yeah she’ll always have some sort of accent, she’s not from the United States, it’s just it’s more defined than it was
@@bigscarysteve hard to really explain but she definitely sounds different more western than her older vlogs from years ago
@@Jneedspopcorn Eva has said of herself that her family is Polish. She's said that she speaks four languages--Polish, English, German, and French. She's also said that she speaks two of those languages well and two not so well. I was always puzzled by that, since I know she speaks Polish with her family, and it's obvious from her videos that she speaks English very well--while falling just shy of being able to convince anyone that she's a native speaker.
I've tried googling her name to find out more about her past, but with contradictory results. Everyone seems to agree that she was born in Poland, and that her family left Poland when she was five years old. Then come the contradictions. Some say she grew up in Germany, while others say she grew up in England. If she grew up in England from the age of five, I would expect her to be able to speak British English flawlessly--but she doesn't. If she grew up in Germany from the age of five, I would expect her to speak German flawlessly. Thus, Eva's comment about speaking two languages not so well confuses me. I don't know what the truth is--and I suspect Eva will never tell.
@@bigscarysteve i used to think eva was british because of her accent
Hey Buddy, love your videos but rather you give yourself the grace to do whatever your heart tells you. Sincere thanks for the travel log!
Blessing on you. Your life will be filled with once in a lifetime experiences!
Welcome to your new future homeland, EVA...!
I'll be Supporting U moving forward & can't wait!
