Exquisite craftsmanship aside, I learned a lot about the history of cigar box guitars. This was really well done.
What enjoyable and enlightening video. Thanks.
I came across you years ago because of the CBG, looking for blues to play with a slide. I’ve built many of them, but not now. I still have one, 3 string, & it sits there with my Strats. I would urge anyone to build & play these fun instruments. Anyone can crack a tune out in open D or G. 👍
😎👍 Thanks Ed !
Thanks for that history!
Thanks for this one. Really enjoying your videos lately!
Incredible
Thanks, Edward! I really enjoyed this video. I started making up a song, “Oh Lord have mercy, my cigar box guitar is so big I injured my groin…”🎶🎵🎵🎶
Great video Ed! Sounds awesome, nice little joke about Gibson too, lol!
great sound 🙂
4:45 😂it's my DIY skills
Fantastic video Edward! I have made a few solid body guitars as well as a Bass guitar and an Acoustic guitar. Never thought about making a Cigar Box guitar, so I now have that on my list of to do's! Thanks! 👍👍🎸🎸
Truly excellent vid on a great subject! A bit longer & more in depth would be much appreciated & till then, thank you & rock on....
Hey great video Edward! Thanks for the history.
Thanks for the awesome video and fantastic performance!
Nice little history lesson. Thank you. Does your CBG have a functional truss rod in the neck? Just seems like the neck would bow forward, given the tension of the strings and the weak connection of the neck to the body.
Mind your own business, Grandpa.
