This video is about my latest 2018 Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch keep getting stuck on black screen display and this time it won't show anything at all unless I reboot!!!

My Samsung Galaxy Watch SM-R800 went black then a green screen was fading in and out.
Could not get it to power on or power off, put it on the charger overnight same thing this morning.
I had to count 10, only had the watch since Christmas 2019.
Found your You Tube video, followed your directions and it’s working now. Thanks.

Just happened to my watch, exactly as what you show in this video. Held the bottom button in for about 10 seconds to get the reboot message. Good to go! Thanks

Just happened to me today! My phone would still ring but screen was completely black. When I would use the find my watch button on my phone it would show on the screen but otherwise it would stay black. reboot worked and now my screen is working! Thank you!

Thank you so much. I just got the Samsung Smartwatch a couple of weeks ago and two days ago, the screen went black. I figured maybe I forgot to charge it, but after a full charge, nothing would get rid of the black screen. I still felt the notifications, so I knew it was on. I tried your holding down the power button tip and sure enough, it rebooted and it's back. Again, thank you.

Same problem. This is the second Samsung watch I have had. Maybe Garmin or Apple are way to go.
Same with my watch. Just happened 3 days ago. I tried rebooting but it's still the same. Actually I think it's getting worse 😔

Having a same problem and after all the attempts to reboot still no change...what to do next?
Clean the sensors on the back of the watch and make sure your watch is not wet.

Here's one for you I've had to replace my watch five times! Each time there was some type of either physical issue or a software update bricked the device
Hi its happen on my watch but same thing but i cant open the screen even i press the power button any idea why?
Put your watch on the charger and display on the watch should read normal. Turn off the watch and restart it.
Still nothing happens

I also have the same issue on my samsung galaxy watch. This began last year after the went out of warranty. I sent the watch to samsung customer service. but wanted me to pay almost the half price ofr the watch. I m really disappointed with this issue and the reaction of samsung. I tried to reboot like you did but it did fix the issue. the screen of my wath is still flickering screen and brigth green.
Make sure your watch is dry not wet and clean the sensors on the back of the watch and put it back to charge again.

when i update firmware.. 1 days later my watch dead. I buy a new battery but still dead..whats a problem
If you place your watch on the charger it should have display percentage of the battery level then after charging you must press the bottom right button press and hold to turn on your watch.

Ok so this video has been a year ago, mine does this now but the horizontal lines come on and go. Holding the bottom button just makes it flicker. Maybe by now someone has an update
Make sure your watch is dry and clean the sensors on the watch.

I have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 and I have a problem with the screen flickering all white. This occurred while charging in the original charger. When I leave the clock quietly on the bed, the screen comes back again, I just take it to move it and it goes back to the white screen. I once managed to "reboot" but it didn't work, and now when I try to reboot it is all white and I can't see anything. It vibrates notifications, I can use the virtual crown. Do you know what it can be and how to fix it? I opened it today, and left it on the rice to see if it's damp. Tomorrow I will reconnect all of it and see if it stops. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Restart your Samsung watch or do an update and restart or backup and then factory reset.
This exact same thing happened to my Gear S3 and I rebooted it and it worked for a day and now it's completely dead, won't turn on at all and the charger blinks when I try to charge it.
Same to me the screen is all black...and blinks when is charging but after 2 min I not sure stop blinking.

O meu molhou e eu usei a técnica explicada no Vídeo, mas eu descobri algo a mais pelo menos no meu caso do samsung active 2, ele deu o problema pela segunda vez e nesta vez eu tinha acesso pelo celular sincronizado ao relógio, eu apenas ajustei o brilho para maior intensidade e ele voltou sem eu precisar reiniciar... E o bug volta caso eu deixe o brilho no automático ou em menor intensidade. Também usava o relógio na água. Então fica aqui a forma que posso para ajudar vocês é um relógio caro, isso não deveria acontecer.

Eu dei Reebot várias vezes.
Notei que na sala ele dava pau, no quarto não..... no elevador não, no carro sim. Achei que fosse interferência de Wi-Fi, Bluetooth ou algo assim..... mas de fato o problema era com a luminosidade.

Same issue i had it repaired by Samsung under warranty i m still having issues.
Nothing to do with warranty, update your firmware on both the watch and smartphone.
My watch did the same thing 2 times and both times were immediately after the watch got wet.
I tried the many fixes but nothing worked. I eventually left my watch for a few months only to find that it now works perfectly. I was this close to buying a new one but glad I did not

You can try to factory reset your watch, but it will erase everything like new again.

I have some similar issues, i tried to activate the contact-less payment function and now i can't connect to Bluetooth or WiFi neither.

Bro my one it doesn't come one it needs to be in the charger then it comes on and shows the green light but when I press the home botton it doesn't do nothing when ever I take it off it from the charger it comes of emedietly
Mines just turned black screen not even a month old. Would still vibrate for notifications. Rebooted seems ok now.
I believe it will come back couple times until you update your OS on the watch.

Mine was just doing this for the second time. It's been flawless up until the last couple of weeks. Now it is using a lot of battery and I'm occasionally having to reboot it.
Try to turn of some notifications that you don't need, probably taking lots of memories.
Same problem and rebooting doesn't help. Wasted money and samsung was no help.

Mine started to do the screen issue but a lightly version, i could still see and iteract with the screen but it was bothersome. I rebooted it and still the same issue and headed to do a recovery and now its on the state shown in the video, now Feb 2020. Anyone with this same issue?
Same shamesung software and products is full of bugs I throw mine in the trashcan and got a apple watch 5 stainless steel 44mm lte in gold and never experienced a single bug it's just works

i have this freezing problem in my watch too , but when i got any message notification from my Mobile, it freeze for 1 min , then back to respond again after while , i made full reset many times , even from safe recovery mode , but always freeze with any new notification
