Like many others, I was very disappointed with numerous aspects of the remake. But the game also had its great parts, which made me glad that I got to see the new story/lore/character bits and experience an initial campaign run on Hardcore. Having recently earned the platinum trophy, however, I can safely say that the replay value had me feeling even more let down than I anticipated. *This is just my personal opinion, which does NOT speak for everyone else's experience, of course.* For me, two things that really killed the replay value of Nightmare/Inferno were how Nemesis scaled with the various difficulties and the fact that there are no separate rewards for beating those difficulties without infinite ammo firearms. *Optional extra details are below...* The Nightmare/Inferno difficulties are intended to be so overwhelmingly tough, that I am encouraged to use the bonus items bought at the store. But some of the bonus items made me so overpowered that even those campaign runs became easy for the most part (namely the RAI-DEN, infinite handgun, infinite assault rifle, and infinite rocket launcher). This also caused some of the other bonus items to feel redundant. For example, why would I bother to try out the Crafting Companion, Samurai Edge, and Hot Dogger when those infinite firearms negate the need to hoard and preserve ammo, on top of letting me shoot through all enemies with ease. In turn, this also causes the strengthened enemies, multiplied enemies, and sparser ammo to almost not affect me at all on Nightmare/Inferno. It is not until certain encounters with Nemesis that the difficulty suddenly spikes back up, even reaching the opposite extreme during the final boss battle on Inferno. I went into that fight with the infinite rocket launcher, both defense coins, and the S.T.A.R.S. manual, yet it still took me around 5-10 tries. This further makes me not care enough to try beating Inferno without the infinite firearms, even as a self-imposed challenge, knowing that I would soon come across the very Nemesis encounter(s) which felt broken to me.
@@markcobuzzi826 I think you're too harsh on the shop in the game. Call me old fashioned, but I miss when games rewarded you with cool items that were earned through challenges and objectives. The whole point of the shop is simply to use it if you wanted to have fun with the game and play it however you want it too. Of course it's broken, it's the equivalent of a cheat code system. The difference is you choose what you want to buy until the long term goal becomes to get everything unlocked. That alone doesn't break the game to me and never felt compelled to use any of the items if I wanted to challenge myself. Of course the challenge of the game is where some argue back and forth if it's fair. nemesis stage 3 is a poor final boss for being too easy or too hard. It lives in extremes that doesn't work well. Aside from that, it weirdly feels like the same exact design of the original Re3 for difficulty: you either play on easy or hard, and it sticks to that word through and through. You either have all the ammo and resources to never feel truly out of your depth or not enough to even survive in the end. Remake creates similar problems but in a way does stay true to that og style. Re3 og is a better game overall to remake but og's only huge problem for me is the controls. I like the og re games but the controls just flat out suck and even mastering the game becomes more of a chore than fun to me. The admitted fun to those games was surviving and being put into a scenario that games didn't often do at those times that actually worked like the Re games did. The remake though has great controls and it's mechanics, while simply, provide enough to make new runs fun to me. What it comes down for me is this: it's a fun game and even if flawed, I don't really think it's worth roasting simply because it didn't live up to expectations.. Story was a surprise to me because I enjoyed it for the simple and campy nature to it all. Carlos and Jill in this killed it and I enjoyed Nikolai alot. The other thing I thought about too is more of a revelation over the years growing up on the re series: there are so many games that also touch to so many genres and changes in the mainline series that honestly you can pick a section, stick to it, and re never loses its charm. I'm in the camp of "every mainline Re game is enjoyable and fun to replay to some capacity." The remake could've have been better but replaying it never gets old to me. Its done in a few hours and feels like I'm playing the og in a way because of that length. To come full circle too, I think the shop system is more creative than the live selection. I know that's blasphemy for many and unpopular but I prefer it. I don't think RE games work with multiple endings or situations played differently because the end result almost is the exact same. There might be some change but it feels low effort. A shop gives you whatever you want and is solely by your own discretion to use it in the box. The game focuses on action and the gameplay is fun, I'd rather have option to use a rocket launcher infi then tell carlos to get in the basement with Jill in og. I also prefer straight forward stories so I'm biased against multiple endings and such in many games.

I had to change it, the soundtrack is too damn loud, I can’t hear my friends talking when I had it on lmao! Still is a masterpiece though, do not get me wrong!
Jill in this remake is sooo badass
And cute
The title should say “AWW LAWD HE COM’N !!”
No.. it shouldn’t.
Dang I got "The Terminator" vibe from this ost.
He reminds me of the Terminator with his 45 long slide with laser sighting
Which is appropriate, considering Nemesis is Resident Evil's equivalent of the terminator
Yep the nemesis is deffo the resi terminator
@@Metalora The orginal yes. Not the remake one. They made him Birkin 2.0 instead.
@@valaxius mr x was more nemesis then REmake nemesis
To the one who disliked this soundtrack I wish to meet the Nemesis
perfect.
Best soundtrack of re3 for Nemesis❤️
This song haunts me, I’ve heard it on loop for 2 years now as a background for my PS4
Wait, you can choose background music?
@@JaniacTheHedgehog Yes, if you pre ordered the game
This gives me a unbelivable Motivation to reach my Goal 💪
Such a good track
Me: *having a fun time playing RE3*
When I hear this theme along with STAAAAAARS: *gives up all hope in life*
Wahnsinn.........für mich ist das jetzt schon Legendär ?
*speaks hitler language*
@@mistah.cheese lmfao
@@destroyerz5931 I completely forgot about that comment. glad it made you laugh buddy.
@@mistah.cheese the joke never gets old xD
Thanx for the words, hope your having a great day gentleman
He jump down with rocket launcher
SSSSSTTTTTAAAARRRRSSSS
Invincible Nemesis Sounds Like Sympathy For The Zombie From Resident Evil 3 Nemesis The Umbrella Chronicles
So powerful, like the Nemesis;)
Imagine being chased in the RPD with this music...
It's great. Nice remix
It is weird that I feel Nemesis is badass instead of frightening in this game....
1:56 begins to sound like the menu music from Fnaf: Sister Location
If you listen closely at the beginning, you can hear typing before the dramatic starts
🌟
Nemesis”To Hell with Umbrella! This is personal”
Say what you will about R3make, the Nemesis encounters were top-tier, at least until he turned into a dog. The rocket launcher chase was one of the best parts of the game.
Como no primeiro bem vindo Resident evil Remake 3
The nemesis battles in the game were intense
He really doesn’t
''Rocket launcher, really?''
OH LAWD HE COMIN.
Runing to the bathroom after having a bad dinner
The other team when the falcants have a 15 pt lead
It’s a shame my sister won’t play Videogames.. she loves creature features
I like how the location is Raccoon City.
Jill after Nemesis come back from the building on fire : Why is he not dead !?
Nemesis after Jill take a rocket explosion and use a spray to heal herself for the second times : Why is she not dead !?
The best them to hunt down Jill so epic I need this song
Let's be honest exterminating stars was just orders until Jill made shit personal for Nemesis 😂
Starrrrrrs.... Jill.,..Run.....
Show de boa terro puro
Run Jill Run!!!

This is just so damn good of a track, which makes me even more sad as I feel the gameplay-wise representation of the new Nemesis didn't come even close to earning it. I would have killed to love the new REmake, but it just doesn't do it for me. The music is still rock solid though, partly thanks to incorporating some of the original compositions.
the start of 2nd form nemesis is straight up bullshit. nemesis should have had a slightly visible cuccoon and STILL it would be bullshit. the way that he just appears is horrible.
The ost feels like playing with a FBI Agent
Humanity Vs Ultimate B.O.W ( Ne-A parasite Organism ? )
Remember me Crysis 2 OST
This sounds like slowed version of the flash theme. Or is it just me?
Essa música tinha que ser de perseguição. Não de lugar específico com bazuka
1k like was me
jill and carlos unlike it
By the way it sounds, is almost like if Lorne Balfe redid the soundtrack.
Assassins creed 3?
MuntyyBR yup.
Come at me bro
This should be the music everytime we encounter nemesis not the other one.
I like the new NEmesis design.
But i don't like the scripted appearance of NEmesis and the white screen slowmo effect everytime NEmesis appear from above or Jill dodge I HATE THAT!!!
Please excuse my bad english.
So not everything needs a chorus lmao
I still can't accept the fact that this game was such a disappointment and that could have been a masterpiece, makes me upset. Capcom dropped the ball here.
Feels like we got 50% of a game smh
Re3 remake was trash and a big disappointment in crapcom history
Agreed
