This is one show i really wish i could of seen, songs for drella is a great collaboration between John and Lou. And for Sterling and Moe to make this appearance, just wonderful. Lou even seems to be enjoying himself. I know its late in coming, thanks for posting ❤
This work is missing one star: Nico, who died two years earlier. This Velvet reunion is an anthology in the history of rock. What a pleasure to watch this! Thank you @ForaRide 💓

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind, and I am not talking about Lou's bum burps. This was really great. Much better than monopoly! Love you, Andy, and Lou. RiP, both of you. ❤❤
One song performance in 1990 was more relevant than whatever The Rolling Stones did in that year (and I do not think Heroin is one of their better songs).
I find songs of deilla to to be the only thing really listenable today by these two guys. I like some songs off fear by cale but Lou Reed's work has an age too well. Not after seeing society collapse so much in cities like Portland and Seattle.
From Cafè Bizarre to Fondation Cartier... what went wrong? I guess it's all Lou Reed's mullet fault. By the way... it's not a Velvet Underground gig. It's a gig from the tour they made for Songs For Drella, with Moe Tucker and Sterling Morrison as guests at the end of the show.

Verdade
Robert.
The best comment.
Forever Changed Lou plays a lovely guitar sound.
The Velvet is so great❤
Perhaps the most famous and worthwhile reunion of its time.
J'étais à ce concert mémorable !
Last song make me tears

Wonderful!
Still angry I couldn't get tickets for the Paradiso show in 1993
Those folks got to witness some history there.

A historic moment.
Beautiful. I feel this during "Slip Away". Lou and Cale playing together again was pure genius, and happiness in spite of it all.
Like the old mariner's eye
Still in our blood. ❤
Thanks mo .
Beautiful
This is so rare and great to see!. It’s a mini VU reunion at the end with Mo Tucker joining them. Fantastic!
Thanks for uploading this! 😎👏🏻🎸
It's a full VU reunion! Sterling is there too.
Wow, love the Drella album. Never knew this event happened. Was anyone there, watching? Very quiet.
From any audience I meant of course.
Maybe listen/watch longer than a minute? There is a big applause at about the halfway point.
They were social distancing.
I was there sadly it was a very parisian concert with actors, vip you Know not a very noisy rock’n’roll crowd 😀😀😀
Heroin... Be the death of me!!!
so deep
Amazing!!! ❤

How come Maureen Tucker has never been US President? How come she hasn't won the Nobel Prize for literature?
She was Busy raising her family
Feral Trumper.
She was making tea
Because her surname rhymes with a rude word, yet her fella citizens say forkin' knife and not, knife an' fork. 🤔😉

Sterling fue un gran guitarrista, el le daba esos toques a las canciones con sus arreglos, es infravalorado su aporte a esta mitica banda
Merci
Songs for Drella is a 1990 album by Lou Reed and John Cale, both formerly of the Velvet Underground
Thank you! You make my day, my week my Everything :)
YEAH LOU YOU AND VELVET UNDERGROUND ARE THE LEGENDS
Sublime...
Velvet Underground performance (9-1/2 minutes) at 22:34.
I LIKE HOW YOU INTRODUCED YOUR BAND LOU
(just wanted to say, great great channel! Love it all, thanks!
I visited the expo. The VCR replaying this tape was not operating as the tape was worn out.
cale's crazy hair scares me but i love him
mo!!!!
I like their Heroin reindition here better than the 1993 reunion’s despite Moe banging on electric drums and Reed’s Steinberger..
+1
It's an amazing version.
En agosto de 1990, en mi luna de miel, pasé por la Foundation Carrier, a ver la exposición
Mais ou menos uma meia hora inesqueçivel

Loving your videos, best of luck. Subscribed!
Fabulous to see them all together again, but I find Lou's heavy leather jacket and weird plastic guitar really distracting.

🥄This video is unbelievable. 💙💚
❤️
Forever Changed is my favourite Reed/Cale song.
Totally agree
@@ForARide: me too

not even new york??
crazy. cale's solo career is so good (Helen of Troy album??? so good). his new album Mercy might be one of his best albums. brilliant work.
You ever feel like you’ve been cheated?
maureen... toca por su cuenta.
Maureen... toca como nadie, nunca vi a alguien tocar con su estilo!!! Es increíble!!!

Lou Reed's Mullet Fault. This will be the name of my band !
Lou shits on everything he touches
Oh sh1t this is ALL of them.
Yeah, what a surprise for the audience, and how great that was
FOndation?
French for Foundation, as simple as that.
