Anyone with dual axle will love the trick I’m about to share. Always have some 2x6 pieces of lumber with you, about foot long. Put boards on ground so you can Pull or back camper onto boards with good tire leaving bad tire dangling freely. No Jack required. This will save you lots of time.

I bought a gizmo that does that exact thing. Over the years I have changed many tires on our RV's. Our Brinkley has H rated Coopers so it has been good so far, but flats can happen anywhere.

That tire monitor paid for it self. You could have had 100's of dollars in damage not knowing the tire was loosing air. Blow outs can damage the RV siding and the rim. GOOD JOB!

RV and boat trailer tires have a life of only 5 years regardless of the miles, use or non-use, or maintenance. I found that out years ago when pulling a friends boat and we had a catastrophic tire failure on I-70 going through the mountains here in Colorado. There is a stamp usually on one side of the tire. It looks like a raised oval with 3 or 4 numbers. They indicate the date of manufacture. It’s almost like they set a timer. You should consider the other tires may need to be replaced as well if the date is really at 5 years

You really need to be in full totality to get that awesome experience when you see an eclipse. We went to Syracuse, NY and it was amazing. It was cloudy, but you could still see the sun through the clouds. However, what was awesome was seeing the actual eclipse pass overhead. It was like twilight and a sunset 360 degrees around. I am so glad we made the two hour trip to go from 95 percent to 100 percent totality.

We went to Mohican State Park here in Ohio. For us that was just an hour north and put us in the total eclipse. We got luck and we had a clear day. It was something special to see. The camp ground was sold out for the Sunday and Monday. Plus many people coming in just for the day. We have never seen an Ohio state park so full of people. My first/only so far blow out was in Mesa on the highway.
Pulled off to the emergency lane and begun the adventure with the coach we JUST bought used.
    Mesa drivers....
Oh my... They were flying by on that 65MPH stretch I was working in the slow lane, changing out the rear driver side tire doing close to 85 or more, flying by my back, taking out the triangles I had set up!
And I thought California drivers were aholes!!!!!
Turned out that my tires were all overloaded at one time by the previous owner. This thing was only a couple weeks old for us at that time too! Changed all of them to Sailun tires. Highly recommend them!
    Be happy!
    Be safe!
    Bust most of all...
Enjoy life the best you can.

Hardly anyone ever checks the spare tire pressure until they need it and most of the time it's low. I know it's a pain in the neck to check the spare but after getting caught far from any help and without a portable pump I now make sure the spares in all my rigs are checked at least once a year if not more. I purchased a new truck this last year and the spare was low when I checked. Go figure.

So funny that this was your content today. I had my wheel bearings greased last weekend, after 3 years since last greasing. My friend told me that my tires were almost bald. I had no idea. I just get in the car and drive. I know Matthew, I should be checking them. Anyway, I got new tires put on my little camper today. My spare was at 25, and the max is 80, so they filled that also. I never even thought to film all of that, until I watched your video. I'll have to film an "after the fact" video, when I go camping this coming weekend. Don't yell at me!! :) BTW, my tires are only 12", so even though they were only 3 years old, they work harder than standard size tires. At least that's what I've been told.

We were in Cotter, Arkansas, (Flippin address) to see the eclipse. When we set our reservations for the Campground we didn’t know about the eclipse being in the 100% area. The owners reminded us about almost 3 months ahead of our arrival. We did not know what to expect. We were amazed at what we witnessed. Well worth being in the area. I wished I would have bought a camera designed for directly looking at the sun. Thanks for the heads up on the tire info. We have tst770 and an electric impact wrench but I need to get a bottle jack. I have a road service and so I hope we don’t have to wait too long on the side of the road. Did you get a new tire? Or repaired.

IF YOU DRIVE THE REAR TIRE UP ON A LEVELING BLOCKS YOU DON'T NEED TO JACK UP THE FLAT. ITS JUST A FLAT. ITS ONLY A PROBLEM IF THE TIRE LETS GO AND DISINTEGRATES AT 60 MPH. GOTTA LOVE THE LIFE

That is how people bend the axle. That method overloads as it carries all the weight that is supposed to be spread across 2 axles.
I've straightened axles for people that swore they never hit anything but they did what you said and bent it.

We lost a tire one time and before we got in to the next town we lost one more tire from that day we carry 2 spare wheels and check the pressure even if we only go 70 miles from the house

Oh no! We are sorry y'all had to go through that! That thought has run through our mind about losing more than 1 tire. That sounds like a good idea about the second spare! Where do you keep the second spare? Thanks for watching! ~ Shion and Matthew

It rides in the back of the pickup till one day when i get tired of it in my way then will install an extra hanger for it
Something else the i have is a die nut and a tap for the wheel studs if ever you take them of and the treads are damaged i can repair it an keep going till the next stop if it needs to be replaced very cheap insurance not to be stuck on the side of the road in the middle of Arizona on I 40

It seems to be, our’s doesn’t have them either. I figure it’s because when we back up, it’s not in the same situations as when in a car. Just hope someone doesn’t suddenly backup when in traffic!

Their answer i don't know finally got a refund and went to Discount tires are junk even if they are named brand they made cheaper.

We are MEN, we do not read manuals, atlas or ever ask directions.
