Middle of a tornado and then u get a text on your phone, no one gonna check their phone at that point. Original sirens were made to alert people and anyone could hear em every where
I thought my alarm was going off, laid in bed a few minutes until I realized it was still dark outside. A siren would of woken my brain up faster, just my 2 cents.
