    I'm Filipino American, and living in Japan. It's so nice to know that Russians love Filipino culture and foods!
    Just last week I experimented, I made Pandesal into Siopao (baked pork buns with boiled egg) It was a success, my kids loved it.
    Next week, I will use Pandesal as cheese burger buns.

    Andrei 's mother made Filipino dishes delicious! And Liza made the buns perfectly! I like the buns color after they remove from Oven I became hungry😂 they look masarap! You know if I only there near in your house I will ask some of buns that Liza made 😅

    4:42 I can consider this Russianized sotanghon guisado (сотангхо́н гиса́до). Honestly, this is reminding me of when Liza tried to cook sotanghon (noodle soup), but she used bihon.
    10:21 Traditionally, you don't have to. But eh, I guess some people like their cheese *a lot.* I know I do.

    Local bakeries do not use butter instead margarine to top of the bread with sugar and cheese

    The main thing is that your mom is trying the recipes and putting her on twist. I looked at recipes I want to try to cook but never follow it right to the T. Kudos to your mom for loving Filipino dish and hoping that your family will enjoy authentic Filipino food once you arrive in the Philippines.

    all the food you cook looks delicious, the pancit with lots of chicken, the pandesal , ensaymada and kwek kwek, it's funny matvey called kwek kwek pandesal eggs 😆, it's good to pair it with vinegar onion

    even the gravy that mama Olya, made for the lechon kawali, should be cook and put a little bit vinegar and soy sauce to make it a little bit darker like jollibee gravy sauce so that the gravy will not be spoil quickly

    The noodles being used are sotánghon noodles.
    However, pánsit noodles resemble rámen noodles.

    Hi Andrey. I really enjoyed this new video.
    Nanay Olga's pancit bihon looks really beautiful. I'm sure it tastes even better as it looks.
    Liza's baking is just awesome. I wish I could get to taste it someday.
    Lastly, Mr. Masarap is so cute. I just love him for his being so appreciative of Filipino dishes. He literally eats every Filipino food Liza cooks.

    0:29 That's "sotanghon" (фунчоза), not "bihon" (рисовая лапша).
    0:33 You should invest in a wok. Some households have one for cooking large amounts of food for occasions.
    0:57 Mama Olga should drain out the water, then add oil so that they brown a little. That's flavor!
    2:17 You get a lot of comments about Mama Olga and cooking the meat first because cooking the garlic and onions first is how we build a base for flavor. The oil will have the taste of garlic and onions, so the dish will have their flavors, too! I know, Mama Olga is scared to burn the garlic. But if she is able to control the fire and can get the timing, she will have mastered an important cooking skill! Maybe she can put the garlic in, then when she sees it start to brown, put the onions in.
    4:05 I can admire Mama Olga's enthusiasm for Filipino cuisine. But just please listen to me first: I will have to disagree with her approach of experimenting before she can master a basic recipe. I believe you need to understand that basic recipe because you have to understand why it works and why it doesn't. Once you have mastered a basic recipe, you can start experimenting to see what works and how you can adjust recipes to fit what's available and what's not available in RU without sacrificing its "soul" (a point a fellow subscriber failed to see from me).
    Having said that, I do look forward to your trip because I am interested to see how much your family will learn. I hope they will get lots of chances to learn Filipino cooking from real Filipinos. After all, we need to learn new things, no matter how old we are!

    If you have margarine there, thats the best in ensaymada than butter. Then sprinkle it with plain sugar then cheese. But still you're improving. From Cavite Philippines with love.
