This is such a wonderful video. I always feel as if you breath life back into me when I listen to you and see Mother Earth through your eyes. I hope you have a wonderful time in Canada. Thank you Colette.💖
Beautifully written letter. I am sure the words about the 'Dream', echo the feelings of many like me. That's exactly how I felt, when I found your videos on UA-cam.
Colette, I was so glad to hear your comments about our dreams contributing to the global consciousness. I feel like that has been my calling as of late -- to dream a better world into being. I write it out and then read it aloud just before going to sleep at night. I don't pretend to think that I am changing the world on my own, but I do think I am playing my part, however small. Your videos help inspire those dreams and for that, I am truly grateful.
I love those little clay faces! I would wear a bracelet with those. I hope Linda posts a link to an online store. That would be wonderful. The Hopi beans are very tasty in soups and salads. Highly recommended! Even in winter, walking around Bealtaine is a joy!
Wonderful magical beads (hand made!!) and lovely scarf... enjoyed the walk in the winter gardens... sunshine is precious this time of year... I try to bask in it all I can.
Beautiful scarf and beads Linda Joy - so enjoyed hearing about them. Thanks for another stroll! Dogs and I went for an early walk this morning and good we did because after we returned home it started thundering and raining, snowing and blowing all at once! November is such a dramatic month here. Seems a lot of us have that dream to plant and live with nature - thank you for sharing your dream and inspiring others! Blessings!
You are very welcome for the Hopi beans. They should grow well for you and are good climbers and produce a lot of beans. A little bit of history from the Native Americans in the US for you.
I agree with Linda Joy & you also Collette...Amazing how for years on end I had in my mind beautiful cottage/ garden I would love to do & then found you years later, the very creation I have dreamt of...The ancestors are with me every day since I was 12 yrs old..I sent a poem in the video of living past, however, you may not have read it..Understanding it's so much for you to respond..A few nights ago I dreamt I was walking with you at Beltaine cottage..LOVE the ancestor beads & gorgeous scarf..I am so close to ordering the 3 acres & map..Love to you..Blessings
Colette, I have no neighbors nearby as we live in the country so I really look forward to my visits with you and I have learned so much from you. And Linda Joy, I, like yourself, had many dreams seemingly unfulfilled but they are now being fulfilled by my grandchildren as I am about your age. I guess I was a kind of "carrier" of the talents. Like typhoid Mary but in a good way. (ha!) May you both have a great day today!
Lindsay joy if you read this you're a great writer! And thank you, Colette, for encouraging her to put a link in the comments. You might need to put it in the description if UA-cam bot deletes it. I don't know if pinning helps avoid that.
I can relate with Jack, I’m not a morning person so my husband brings me coffee and sets it on my bedside table to wake me up. Some mornings, I can’t help but say nooooo. But the lovely aroma nudges me to get up. Maybe Jack needed to smell one of his treats. Blessings.
Oh my...to polish the clay beads before the first firing must be nothing else than an act of love and meditation. It is hard enough to burnish a larger clay vessel, but hundreds of small faces...truly a gift!
It must be absolutely wonderful that you have so many green plants outdoors still on Nov. 29! My goodness, my plants are all in hybernation for the coming winter months... Only dreaming of the greeness to come.
You just keep bringing more and more people together. Love and Respect C Annette 🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀p.s. How do you keep mice out of your cottage? That was a stupid question! Hi Sammy.

The beads are wonderful. Did Linda Joy give any details of where we might purchase some too? I agree about the seasons as, being brought up in a fairly "unconventional" family (my Mum was English Christian and my Dad's family Jewish/Pagan Romany travelling showmen - as in fairground), Dad always insisted the seasons were as you say (and I agree!!) but Mum followed the man made calendar. Nice to see that I'm not alone in following the "old" calendar! Also, really looking forward to receiving my copy of your first book soon, which I ordered a day or two ago. Thank you so much for allowing us to feel like we are there with you...a real blessing! Blessings
I think some of the calendar confusion about when fall and winter begin is the fault of my country, the US. Our seasons are set back from those in Ireland and the U.K. Early September here can easily be 32* Celsius, and all the trees still green. The smallest bite you feel around Lughnasadh doesn't reach us until the last days before October. Most of the trees where I live in the Smokey Mountains only even began to turn colors maybe a week before Samhain, and many didn't lose their leaves until several weeks after yours did. So I'm not sure if it's patriarchy and constructed calendars, so much as latitude and longitude, and people harboring concepts of when these things begin that was meant for geography that is not their own. The world is becoming smaller with the Internet, and we need a new awareness of differences in not only time zones, but climate. It's often very difficult for me to remember Australia is approaching it's summer solstice, not the winter one, never mind the time difference! Yet now that I am making friends there, that is something that enters my awareness more and more.
Linda JOY, what a gift!! I would LOVE to purchase your fabulous work! Those beads are magical!
Jack is such a delight, he had me laughing out loud with his ballerina pose!!!
This is such a wonderful video. I always feel as if you breath life back into me when I listen to you and see Mother Earth through your eyes. I hope you have a wonderful time in Canada. Thank you Colette.💖

I love this whole video, not just bits n' bobs, rather the entirety.
Bless all x
