Thanks for your comment. I had noted the pianist years ago musically because he's such a monster, and to be playing with Phil Woods... I just googled him now: "The classically trained pianist [Chris Neville], who was born in Boston in 1955, was something of a child prodigy, having enrolled in the New England Conservatory of Music at six."
It sounds to me like they edited the drum and sax section, sounds like a punch like they recorded that and put together to me, when I listen close two different audio through put. it sounds like they re-recorded the last part with the drums and Phil.
One of the greatest musicians to have ever graced the stage and the world!
I miss this cat's heartbeat on Earth so much!
I miss Phil Woods......this is just so stunning. All 4 of them are their individual masters.
So proud of Maine's own Chris Neville too here on piano. Just amazing!!!

What this dude plays for the bridge at 2:37 blows my mind. The rest of my productive work day is now wrecked.
Phil Woods is 65 years old here, and still at the height of his powers making it all sound easy. Praise to the master!
Always satisfying to hear this master. Thanks for posting!!!
Simply great! Thank you very very much for putting this up.

Definitely changed the position of the microphone at the very least if you look in the video. The angle is much better during the drums and Phil
