Unpopular opinion, i went with a 42 draft designs catback and dp combo and then took my car on a 3000 mile trip. By the time i got back it sounded so damn good. I think alot of people dont wait for that exhaust to break in
Want loud for the Golf MK7 and 7.5? Try MBRP or Remus Non-Resonated Exhaust with Remus Muffler Delete! Also Included Ultimate racing Straight-Pipe Exhaust.
How are you gonna make a video comparing exhausts, knowing damn well some of the clips might have builds with a downpipe and some on stock downpipe. There’s no way the Cobb example was paired with a downpipe
Yeah I can only hear half of what was being said unless I wanted to put my ear to the phone and keep rewinding. Something about UA-cam makes me want to watch it with my eyes while simultaneously listening to the Contant. Aside from that thumbs up
Not sure which one I would take today, but I bought the Billy Boat turbo back for mine in spring of 2015 as it was one of very few options available. Sounds decent, and quality is nice, but fitment very poor.

I had awe track first but it was quite with your map catted dp so I sold it and got the borla s type. Borla is dope but the tips don't stick out much. Need some new tips
Food for thought, I've been told by a lot of vw people that the mk6 is probably the least reliable of the GTI family. If you can get your hands on a mk7 it might be worth it as a first car
It’s funny how fast prices move in the euro aftermarket compared to my other vehicles. This video is only two years old, and every dollar amount mentioned is off by at least 100 bucks now. Almost everybody’s catback systems are tickling the four figure mark at this point, especially if you option up different tips. Bit of a moot point for me personally on this particular mod as I find a downpipe on the stock exhaust to be one of the best options on these cars, but it definitely reminds you that you’re always paying a little more to play a little less. 🫤

42dd has always been good. I love those exhausts. sounded great on my 1.8t
42DD is one of the better sounding exhausts.

With the HJS Downpipe an the APR cat bacl you can drive legal 94 decibel
Milltek is the best sounding/quality exhaust you can get for the mk7.
I have never seen a clip of a Milltek sounding good.

Trust me, experience says xforce is loud drone garbage, get any Apr system. My mates mk7 with single little muffler no drone at all any speeds.
