Hey Ian....thanks so much for a great product and installation vid. Watching you all install and even better, hearing it inspired me to go to the Neuspeed site and purchase this cat-back system for my '22 GLI Autobahn. Scheduled to be installed next week and looking forward to hearing the changes it brings. Other than that, of course doing the pendulum/dog bone mount upgrade as well as flashing the ECU and DSG with the Unitronic Stage 1+ software. Thanks again for a great vid.
i got my Gli used about a year ago, same year and color, and it came with some springs, an intake and a catback, and i’ve always wondered what company made my exhaust and other than a logo that said “n” i had no clue. i listened to the sound check and it sounds exactly like mine and the tips look exactly the same. Thanks for the help lol, ive been so confused on who makes this exhaust for so long!
One problem with mine is the hanger on the right muffler broke off and is missing, so from the back the exhaust is hanging down to one side. Otherwise it sounds great, plans are a catless downpipe and a tune, probably an intercooler.
Nice video bro 😁I can hear little clunk every time you start driving 12:34, 12:38, 12:49, like the pipes are touching the frame or something somewhere.
@@xavierz420 yeah I know I have been trying to figure out what exactly it is. I am throwing it back on the lift this weekend to sort it out. I appreciate you pointing it out though!
Hello from Argentina. Nice sound, congratulations! I saw you now have the air intake and the catback, is downpipe included or are you planning on adding a custom one as well? Peace!
@@jonathanboianover7962 Hello! This is just the Neuspeed Catback with the OEM downpipe. I plan on adding one within the next couple of months along with an intercooler and stage 2 software! Thanks for watching!
@@Ian_Richardson I do, could be a little more loud in my opinion but at the same time too much can quickly become annoying. So yes, I am. What I like about this is that it adapts to the way you drive, the more agressively you shift the louder it is.
@@GabeHartnett It does sound louder in person but it’s pretty quiet for a full catback system. I’m not going to lie in the cabin you can’t even really tell you have an exhaust until you get above 3500 rpm’s. But it is decently loud when you are outside of the car. You can still tell when the soundaktor is in sport mode but it is less noticeable of a difference from eco to sport than it was before.
@@Ian_Richardsonjust code the soundaktor off if you have the exhaust it’s really unnecessary unless of course you like it. It wasn’t my thing I’ve turned it off on my GLI and my last three GTIs

The MBRP is pretty decent too
@@Quadruple-Vaxxed-Boomer it absolutely is! I just really want a downpipe and MBRP paired with one is soooooo loud so I went with neuspeed instead.
@@Ian_Richardson The reason I choose MBRP it's because of the price. They offer good products for a decent price tag.
@@Quadruple-Vaxxed-Boomer that is very true. It was my first option for a long time. The price tag is very appealing. I hope you are loving it!

Does it sound louder in the video than in person? How does the exhaust volume compare to how loud the soundaktor is in sport mode?

I bought it from Uroruning.com but I have a link to Neuspeeds website in the description.
