We love our 2016 Traverse. No issues with it. It's so comforting to know that if we are hit by another vehicle going fast we are protected greatly. After being hit in a medium size sadan by people who were on their cell phones while driving, one going 70mph in a 60mph zone and totaled my car, I wanted something bigger!! More space between the back of my car and me !! That's why I bought the Chevy Traverse. I love the space it has, and the ease of driving it, plus the backup camera and onstar convince. It isn't bad on fuel if you don't speed . I set my cruise control on the speed limit and there's no up and down on the excellerater which makes for better gas mileage. I have been watching a lot of accident videos on UA-cam and WOW ! The way so many vehicles fold up like a tincan is shocking!! Speed plays a huge part in these fatal accidents. There's no way I would buy a sadan again! And these very little cars they have come out with are so scary!! I would NEVER buy one and certainly NOT put my teenager driving one. After having 9 people in all run into me while I was stopped or crossing the intersection and all the damages that were done to both vehicles, NO WAY ! If they are hit by someone driving 50 to even 70 mph they have a huge chance of being killed!! Buying something because it's cute, or cheap, and great on fuel is not a good idea!! Check out how many fatal accidents happen in your state every year!!! It's shocking!! How much is your life and your child's life worth???
