I've been waiting a year for mine too. I've had a build date 8 times now with a Vin and all. Now it got canceled and will be a 23 model apparently. Might get it next April.... or never lol

Well I would say it's better than getting your Maverick and not knowing what the crash test rating actually is when you're putting your wife in the vehicle. I even emailed NHTSA and IIHS, because it took so long to get a rating she was still driving a vehicle that was not yet rated but able to be sold for road use..
Hey Ford and Maverick owners...I have a xlt awd 23' model and if you apply the brakes there's a near 1/2 second delay before rear lights are actuated... somebody on the internet mentioned why Mavericks are getting rearended. Ive checked on a2000 Ford 150 and time is spot on I even tried a Chevy Colorado and the timing is correct. But check the Maverick, there's definitely a delay.
I'll assume that was my allocated truck I've been waiting on for over a year

NHTSA should really test for Moderate Overlap and Rear.
