Here is a new tutorial on how to make five easy but awesome redstone creations to add to and improve your Minecraft home or any other build! I selected these since they take only minutes to build, but still look really cool and function very well!
These redstone videos have been highly requested, and I hope you like it. Feel free to leave any ideas you may have for future videos in the comments. In this video, I will be showing you how to build a nether basalt bridge, a new 2x2 redstone door, a rapid fire arrow dispenser, a light switch and a new and improved hidden staircase! All of these builds work as of the latest update (1.16)!

I have never seen that version of a piston door before! It's amazing! And really clean, so you can ACTUALLY make a secret entrance!
I tried it on bedrock bc I don’t have access to my pc rn and it didn’t work on bedrock I pray it works on Java and hope you have the answer

@@masonslater2076 It doesn't work on Bedrock edition bcuz there's this feature on Java that Bedrock doesn't have. (I forgot what it's called but I think it's called quazzy connectivity) this feature makes nearby redstone components receive a signal even though the signal is not directly connected to the component. Example of this feature is the piston on the video. The redstone signal is 2 blocks away from the piston at the bottom. Even though the signal is far from the piston, it still got the signal.
Btw, here's a video of the tutorial of the door in the video. That door is called the Flush door, aka the Flush Jeb Door.

You can make an even more compact button lever design just by using two droppers facing into eachother. Have the button activate both of them and put the comparator to sense one of them. Ez redstone

1:38 this is actually a very old build, called a “Jeb Door”. Jeb found it online prior to the release of the Piston.
It's a shame the simple design doesn't work on bedrock (at least I think it doesn't it's been a while since I checked
@@xbotscythe I just tried it about 10 minutes ago, it don't work. But there is an easy work around, where you simply wire the top pistons up using repeaters. Repeaters will also get the bottom pistons this way, so if done right you can still do it in bedrock it just takes a bit more redstone.

So that what the comparator is for
@@miraidadiaz2150 the comparator can do 1 of 2 things, it either measures how strong of a redstone signal something is putting off (item frame, lectern, pumpkins for some reason, droppers, hoppers, etc.) or it can subtract the power of a pulse going into the back from the strength of the pulse going into its side, or vice versa and outputs the difference
