Nothing hurt me more than women. And they went out of their way to hurt me. I just can't really trust them, and almost every time I didn't I am glad about. Now we hug when we meet and she told me she is probably bad, since she isn't used to doing that with me but she's open to trying that (I tell her everything I dislike about how she treats me everytime she does and I told her that I love and need physical contact and stopped it with her, because I respected her wishes, which turned out to be lies and I didn't have any physical contact with no one since I lost basically all my friends, since most were fake and some good ones just followed paths in live that seperated us and I only had that contact with my gf, which then broke up with me). Well now she recognizes that I am literally the only person that is there for her and she can trust fully and the only person she can count on and also thanking me for being me and existing and being such a great person. She is supposed to have a bf, but it's a pretty unhealthy relationship. This is why all my phone calls are recorded. One should be able to defend himself against such accusations. The first mistake was not dumping her after the first event. It happend after he warned her and she clearly disrespected his boundaries. He should have exposed her to her parents, dump her and in the event of her ruining his reputation come back with recordings and report a defamation attempt. I've noticed that almost every situation involving a woman getting roped, she's putting herself in precarious situations. It's always the girl doing something extremely risky before getting roped. One of my best friends did something stupid (nothing physical) and when the police came to talk to him he confessed and everything was settled out of court. There was a guy who was our classmate for 12 years but who was responsible for churning the craziest rumor mill about my friend once his legal issues became known, like how the police only got the confession out of my friend after sticking a broom up his ass.

She made a false statement, rumors spread (People tell other people and the telephone effect or whatever comes into play), and instead of confronting their friend about what they've heard and hearing his story they assumed he was in the wrong by default. If you just need to hear one bad thing about someone to cut them off and shit talk them then you were never a friend to begin with. It's that simple. You hear about your friend allegedly doing something bad? You pick up a phone and call him to understand the situation and do whatever you can to help out. Those people in that video were acquaintances, not friends.

Gossiping about someone and making shit up about them is a way to create a rumor. When I was in school people thought I've been to jail before. No serious rumors or lies were spread about me though, wouldn't have affected me if they did though (No higher would have believed it regardless because of my clean record).

I honestly don't believe it was SA. In actuality the woman was proved to be lying about a lot. Why couldn't she have been lying about the SA? I mean yeah she had injuries and all. I was in a similar situation in the past. Guy friend forced himself onto my ex. But she was the one flirting with him all night and even went home with him instead of me after a party (she said he was going to take her home and she'll meet me at home). I waited up all night from 12am till 2am for her to come home. That coming Monday, a coworker of mine (who lived with the guy) said he saw them together go into his room and heard all of it. I just ended up kicking her out of my apartment and cut her out of my life. The way I looked at it was she ignored me, flirted with another dude all night, went home with him (didnt even tell me they were going to his place), went into the bedroom together so she can cheat on me, got cold feet, she got forced on, came home and didn't say a word, her choices, per problems. She ended up going back to her parents who lived a couple hours away.
What the fuck did she expect to accomplish by lying about him on social media? The guy isn't even rich, and their relation was well beyond redemption. Did she just destroy the guy's reputation and sanity out of spite?
With stories like these this is just leading to the word rape no longer having any meaning. Every person in this story has some accountability for what happened, but OP only barely. I really, really, REALLY understand his situation because I've been in a similar but not quite as severe situation. Unfortunately, I really don't think OP could have actually stopped this. The only correct choice in hindsight would have been for OP to make an ultimatum, and that is always a dangerous move to make in the moment. I really hope OP can work to not let this destroy his ability to trust, but rather develop his ability to see through lies and properly stand against them, instead of just being like "oh well, I tried." When he confronts her about being uncomfortable with John's behavior and she brushes it off, that should be a red flag that she doesn't actually care about how you feel about the relationship, just that it still continues so she can feed off you. While she is for the streets, that doesn't mean she should be forever screwed. I am no arbiter of fate, but I really think the only way she can come out a better person is to be abandoned. It's harsh, and I truly hope it doesn't break her, but especially with her experience with shrooms, she should have the ability to say to herself "man, that was fucked up. I fucked up, got fucked up, now it's all fucked up. Only way from here is up, but damn this is going to be a slow, long, painful, difficult journey." If she's anything like me, and if I'm anything like most people, she'll start doing good for a short time, and then something will happen that will back her into a corner (not literally, figuratively) and an important decision will be made to either panic and do everything she can to escape, or to remember her shrooms experiences and to relax, stay calm, keep going, and to swing WITH the ride, not against it. Even the hardships of life, are all just a giant trip in the end ;) We can all agree John is a fucked up person and deserves whatever he has coming for him, but I still like to think people even this bad can change. It really comes down to whether or not he will accept his fate and repent (purgatory) or deny his repentance and try to skip it (go to hell). OP never said if John specifically did shrooms (at least I don't remember), but if he has done shrooms and still does not have it in him to see the error in his ways and to actually want to make up for it, then he's probably committed to not repenting. TLDR: OP got screwed but could have avoided it. Girl was a wretch and paid the price (certainly and undeserved extreme though) but has experienced a defining moment to turn things around for the better. John is a piece of shit who deserves the worst, and HOPEFULLY, the worst will wake him up to a better way, but probably not. I like to be optimistic but I'm very aware a lot of people do not wish to face consequences, and facing the consequences actually makes you a better person, it's not just the price you pay.

Nothing hurt me more than women. And they went out of their way to hurt me. I just can't really trust them, and almost every time I didn't I am glad about. There is only one women that I kinda trusted and she broke that trust, but eventually, using her being really hot and flirting and suggesting she wants to sleep with me (which she never in the 8 years we have been friends had done or had happened and since I honestly just hated her and at the moment was only open to use her for sex, since I always found her very attractive physically) we started having contact again, but when we met she took back everything she said with the really sexual stuff she wanted me to do to her, basically she got cold feet and I blocked her after that for like a month (the only person I have ever blocked). Until she kept calling me and we started talking and I told her most of the shit that she does and says that makes me wanna throw up, especially stuff where she basically lied to me and treated me worse than anyone else (one thing was that at the beginning of our friendship I would hug her, like all my friends and I love that, but she told me, she doesn't waant to be hugged, that she doesn't like physical contact and I found that sad, but respected it and never hugged her again, but then I started meeting more friends and coworkers of her and she not only would hug them, but have tons of physical contact with them, like partially as much as couples would have, not friends. When we met again after all that time where she just ghosted me in a time of need (my gf had broken up with me) I go in for a hug (after all this time and all the other bs she had done) and she stopps me and has the audacity to lie to my face and tell me she doesn't like physical contact after that I blocked her for a month. Now we hug when we meet and she told me she is probably bad, since she isn't used to doing that with me but she's open to trying that (I tell her everything I dislike about how she treats me everytime she does and I told her that I love and need physical contact and stopped it with her, because I respected her wishes, which turned out to be lies and I didn't have any physical contact with no one since I lost basically all my friends, since most were fake and some good ones just followed paths in live that seperated us and I only had that contact with my gf, which then broke up with me). Well now she recognizes that I am literally the only person that is there for her and she can trust fully and the only person she can count on and also thanking me for being me and existing and being such a great person. She is supposed to have a bf, but it's a pretty unhealthy relationship. This is why all my phone calls are recorded. One should be able to defend himself against such accusations. The first mistake was not dumping her after the first event. It happend after he warned her and she clearly disrespected his boundaries. He should have exposed her to her parents, dump her and in the event of her ruining his reputation come back with recordings and report a defamation attempt. "We'll pay for your school if you stay local" is pretty understandable. That's just a stipulation for a free ride, much like any other paid for or funded degree. The GI bill stipulates more than that.
We as adults are equally responsible for the situations we put ourselves in willingly as others are for the actions they take against us. Very sad story, but the moral is that a woman without the basic decency or common sense to not put herself in such disastrous situations or listen to the concerns or wishes of her partner is NOT partner material.

I was in a similar situation in the past. Guy friend forced himself onto my ex. But she was the one flirting with him all night and even went home with him instead of me after a party (she said he was going to take her home and she'll meet me at home). I waited up all night from 12am till 2am for her to come home. That coming Monday, a coworker of mine (who lived with the guy) said he saw them together go into his room and heard all of it. I just ended up kicking her out of my apartment and cut her out of my life. The way I looked at it was she ignored me, flirted with another dude all night, went home with him (didnt even tell me they were going to his place), went into the bedroom together so she can cheat on me, got cold feet, she got forced on, came home and didn't say a word, her choices, per problems. She ended up going back to her parents who lived a couple hours away.

Every person in this story has some accountability for what happened, but OP only barely. I really, really, REALLY understand his situation because I've been in a similar but not quite as severe situation. Unfortunately, I really don't think OP could have actually stopped this. The only correct choice in hindsight would have been for OP to make an ultimatum, and that is always a dangerous move to make in the moment. I really hope OP can work to not let this destroy his ability to trust, but rather develop his ability to see through lies and properly stand against them, instead of just being like "oh well, I tried." When he confronts her about being uncomfortable with John's behavior and she brushes it off, that should be a red flag that she doesn't actually care about how you feel about the relationship, just that it still continues so she can feed off you.
While she is for the streets, that doesn't mean she should be forever screwed. I am no arbiter of fate, but I really think the only way she can come out a better person is to be abandoned. It's harsh, and I truly hope it doesn't break her, but especially with her experience with shrooms, she should have the ability to say to herself "man, that was fucked up. I fucked up, got fucked up, now it's all fucked up. Only way from here is up, but damn this is going to be a slow, long, painful, difficult journey." If she's anything like me, and if I'm anything like most people, she'll start doing good for a short time, and then something will happen that will back her into a corner (not literally, figuratively) and an important decision will be made to either panic and do everything she can to escape, or to remember her shrooms experiences and to relax, stay calm, keep going, and to swing WITH the ride, not against it. Even the hardships of life, are all just a giant trip in the end ;)
We can all agree John is a fucked up person and deserves whatever he has coming for him, but I still like to think people even this bad can change. It really comes down to whether or not he will accept his fate and repent (purgatory) or deny his repentance and try to skip it (go to hell). OP never said if John specifically did shrooms (at least I don't remember), but if he has done shrooms and still does not have it in him to see the error in his ways and to actually want to make up for it, then he's probably committed to not repenting.
TLDR: OP got screwed but could have avoided it. Girl was a wretch and paid the price (certainly and undeserved extreme though) but has experienced a defining moment to turn things around for the better. John is a piece of shit who deserves the worst, and HOPEFULLY, the worst will wake him up to a better way, but probably not. I like to be optimistic but I'm very aware a lot of people do not wish to face consequences, and facing the consequences actually makes you a better person, it's not just the price you pay.

being in a similar situation, I can agree in the end it was a hard choice, but you made the right one. Regardless of the R- situation, she was already in the mind state to go out and cheat. It's unfortunate that's the way it played out regardless of her motives. Of course, it complicates the situation, and I think the OP did a great job managing it. Although I know Op was hesitant to break it off, it's the best thing in the long run. I can relate to the impending lost feeling afterwards. All I can say is over time it gets easier, until you start seeing "hope" again. The defamation of character part is unfair and also relatable. I guess going through my personal circumstance it shows who was there for you in the first place. If you want to believe a story without hearing both sides, that shows your character.
