- Is this tool from NP just as good as the Turbo decoder? In this video, I will try the new tools I just received. The tools were about $99 USD + post, this is the first tool and the first time using the tools and the review on the tool.

I only just came across this video, the tool has to be the right way up, once it’s in, pull the sliders back and give the tool a pull, if it moves out at all, it’s upside down. Try again.
Once it’s in properly, twist left and right but also up and down, not left and right against the blade but up and down, twist left and right. Usually doesn’t take more than 10 seconds.

I agree. I used the same thing, but it didn't turn just left and right. Thinking about it, I added up and down movements and it turned around. The attached video has the same behavior. I hope it will be a hint

I broke two of these inside the door lock.. Garbage tools. The pins on the tools are extremely stiff. Bad design. Won't recommend any one buying
Does it work on just one side or both sides of the pick ?
Does it work only one way or does it go in ether way, are both sides interchangeable
When you insert the tool, pull the sliders back, then pull the tool back, if the tool moves back it's the wrong way, turn the tool around then try again
Have another go and do another video it does work

You have the tool in the wrong orientation,The key that comes with it is to let you know which way the tool goes into should have a little dot on the side.

TOOL PUT IN INCORRECTLY. TURN IT ONE TIME 180 DEGREES AND IT WILL WORK.
I see that you have the mini prog just sitting there on the side lol. PLS make a video on it when you can.

What lock is that? Not from your part of the world, that looks like a Golf Mk7 door lock which would be HU162 not HU66. But your key looks HU66 so I suspect you’re good. But is it HU66 Gen1 or Gen2? The reason I ask is I had trouble with mine until I realized my practise lock was a gen1 HU66. It had up,down,up,down,up,down,up,down wafer configuration rather than the up,up,down,down,up,up,down,down this tool works on.
Felt like an idiot but it’s working fine now.
That generational difference between where the wafers are ganged up - that'll be the death of me soon
I must admit you had tool wrong way round at 1st !...I have brought the same style hu66 tool , it never opened the lock, always over set some pins pass where they were suppose to be.Also the more I tried the tool started to twist in the handle ...not that good in my opinion

Not a reset key but a key to tell you which way round to insert the tool!! When the key goes fully in make sure the dot on the tool is on the same side as the dot on the key. You can also insert the tool, pull the slider then pull the tool, if it comes out 4-5 mm the tool is upside down.

I had the same problem at first.
Till I learned it was upside down.
Trick is when you turn tool and it pull back its the wrong way round.
I wish I had knowen, I returned mine :(
@@DrLockShop yeah I thought the same till I played around with it.
It opens up every motor I use it on now.
And does the ignition lock straight away.
I buy salvage vehicles and most have no keys.
But it's saved me thousands of pounds on locksmiths and I got the bmw and mini tool does the same thing.
Works the same way if its lose in the lock turn it around.
Great investment for the car trade 👌

BE WARNED. The very first time I used one of these on a customers car it became stuck in the barrel and I struggled for over an hour to remove it. Will never use it again as its ended up in the bin. Very untrustworthy piece of junk

@@DrLockShop no i use lishi im a master with the lishi but i was thinking about ordering a few of them picks you used in your video to try out. i sent you a video link watch it for tips on that tool it will help.
Cheaper but it don't work I bought this crap an it dont work at all it's a scam don't waste your money
They are a waste of money and only makes your wrist ache, stick to lishi tools
