Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, Interlaken was and still is one of the places where writers and artists come to seek inspiration. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Lord Byron, and Felix Mendelssohn are just some of the many who were moved by the beauty of this region.
We will also show you some of the magical footage we made in Lauterbrunnen and the “Valley of 72 Waterfalls” which was J.R.R. Tolkien’s main inspiration for the creation of the Middle Earth in Lord of the Rings series.

Was in Interlaken with my daughter in 2018.Then we took the train to Italy down to Pompeii,Rome,and Florence.Then back to Schaffhausen.

The video was great, however I found you a little bit racist when you start talking about the women and girls wearing veil and mentioning that they come to Switzerland because they have hot weather at their countries, so I was wondering if people coming from Florida visits Switzerland during summer because it hot and sunny out there in Florida or because they want to enjoy the beauty and charm of Switzerland... just wondering.
Well there are many people from the Middle East who actually spend a lot of time here so it’s like their second home just like we have snow birds in Canada who move to FL for the winter, they come to Switzerland to escape their hot summers.
