@kellybgliding Thank you for watching and subscribing! I love your channel and wished I could have gone on the twisted sisters' trip with you all, but I was out of town on a marriage retreat. Your bike KONG is a Beast and looks amazing, too!
I have the Bad Boyz Cyclez seat. It was done by George at Bad Boyz Cyclez. I bought a stock CVO seat from a friend and then sent it to Bad Boyz Cyclez to be redone. It's way more comfortable, and this is my second seat by Bad Boyz Cyclez. They are awesome and so much more comfortable and look good at the same time! Bad Boyz Cyclez badboyzcyclez.com/
Most definitely agree on your top 5 likes, my top would be the raw power difference and the overall bad ass looks of the 2023 Road Glide. Coming off a 2021 Road Glide 107 M8, the torque through out the gear ratio is a striking difference. I picked mine up this past October, so technically it was a year old (born 09/2023) even though new at the Houston dealership. Now 6 weeks later I go out to the garage on a 44 degree outside temperature and the bike won’t start. I take the side cover off, pull the 60 amp main fuse reinstall and the bike starts. Runs a bit rough, like maybe one cylinder’s not firing. After about 15 seconds it begins running normal. Road the bike all day with no issues starting again. Couple days later does it again, pull the fuse routine and it starts. Checked all the wiring, primarily that red voltage regulator wire, found a little chafing but not through the insulation. I fortified the wires with tape and a zip tie so hopefully good to go there. I have since been keeping the bike on a battery maintainer and not experienced any more issues. My concern is this, is the battery amperage too low for this bike, given the lighting and new information system? Did Harley make a mistake engineering the bike with the lighter wiring attempting to lessen the weight? I don’t know, it’s a concern I now have for the overall health of the bike. Could be a simple thing like because my bike set around a dealership for a year and over time weekend the battery output. Anyway the battery maintainer seemed to have rectified the issue for now. I have heard that there are some operating systems on the bike that pull power even though the bike is off, don’t know if this is a factor or not. I’d like to know if you’ve had any issues with yours. Love your stuff, and definitely love that whiskey neat!
Hey Jack, thanks for the feedback. Thanks for watching and subscribing to the channel. I haven't had that problem with the battery or the wiring. Typically, I can leave my bike off the battery tender or maintainer for 1-2 weeks without starting it a d it starts up fine. If I leave it off for 2 weeks or more, the battery is a little week and sometimes to week to start. When that happens, I just plug into the battery tender for 5-15 minutes, and it starts right up. I have a 2020 street glide, and it's about the same. When the street glide was new, it could go 3 weeks or longer and be good. I still have the original battery on the street glide, but now I can only keep it off the tender for 1 week without starting it, especially in the winter months. Keep me posted on how it does going forward, and maybe keep it off the battery tender for a week and see if it starts. The battery could be going bad for sitting so long at the dealership, too. And I do believe the alarm and electronics drain the battery more than the old bikes when off the tender for a week or 2 without starting them. Which 2023 did you get and color?
@@RJProductions84 Thanks for your reply! I have the 2023.5 CVO dark platinum. I really love the color and the black chrome accents. I really wanted the whiskey neat but they wouldn’t budge on the higher added cost. I’m now totally happy with the dark platinum with the root beer? pen striping, my only issue is the face hurt I experience caused by the excessive grinning. You probably have the same problem every time you climb aboard yours!
I’m glad that you’re pointing out your likes and dislikes. So I’ll know what to look for when I get my bike. Your bike is beautiful my brother
