I paid for an AI girlfriend in this video it was creepy and weird but also strangely entertaining ua-cam.com/video/mn1BwW0LR74/v-deo.html
Honestly that golden hour sunset made you look even prettier somehow
i think the word "empowering" is being used in exchange of "im enjoying getting lots of attention and money"
this is so true its like getting likes but adding money
It’s simply because unfortunately, most of these girls were taken advantage of at an extremely vulnerable time in their lives. The ‘empowerment’ that THEY feel is the fact it now happens on THEIR terms. Thats what that means. Women take the word ‘empowered’ too literally. Of course if you don’t have that sort of background you won’t understand it. Therefore, it doesn’t and will never apply nor address you.
How i felt as stripper, is that not one discription of empowering.
@@youreincredible1648 sorry ,im not sure what you meant (if you were saying stripping was empowering or not)
so ill just add this to my original comment . as a woman in my grown up years ive always been aware of my power. always been aware you can use it to gain attention and money. never got into a habit of doing it though, i dont need that to feel powerful or confident. and i think thats whats what "empowering" means to me. to have a power and to not abuse it / to carry it with poise and grace. otherwise it sorta looks more like an abuse of power to me, or at the least, distasteful.
sorry this wasnt very clear to me what you meant
everybody says it’s empowering but nobody would let their daughter do it
or consume content of women the same age as their daughters ://
What's empowering is a lady has an of for her car making a joke and also money off it. It's a funny idea ro make money without selling your body. The car is a hurse so she makes jokes about its body count.
I find it interesting that women who create OF are judged, yet the men who consume it aren't. I personally couldn't do it. Disgusting, creepy men messaging you all day 🤮Knowing that most of them are probably married or in a relationship and lying to their partner.
Yes they are. They’re called simps .
The men are definitely judged. Most women that I know (including myself) find men who constantly consume OF and corn disgusting and creepy, just as you stated. She didn't seem to be judging the OF "models" at all, but instead discerning that doing that for a living did not appeal to her personally. She said the reason for making this episode on this topic is in response to numerous comments asking her why doesn't do it herself. IMO she answered the question quite eloquently and matter of fact, sans judgement of the women who do indeed choose it for themselves. Discerning that something isn't for you, is different from judging.
They are judged, by many women. In fact after the age of 24-25 it becomes unacceptable and gross. I could never be around a grown man who consumes abuse material of young women, it shows an unhealthy sexualization and deep immorality. I do find it rather disturbing the numbers of women who excuse this sort of perversion. Especially since having children. There is honestly no excuse for exposing your children to the presence of a man who objectifies children in this manner.
@@Rapunzel674 And incels
Both sides deserve judgement
As a young woman, None of this seems empowering or self-affirming. Just sad, and makes me think of low self worth, esteem, and a lack of dignity due to money. Just because the shackles/cage is made of diamonds doesn’t make them any less constrictive. Bondage is still bondage, and a gilded cage is still a cage nonetheless. It’s just….a bit depressing to be honest. And it seems like other women are simply recruiting or coercing other young girls by deception of the revenue they *could* make, which is a p*mping tactic that’s similar to what’s done on the street/blade. The glamorization of self-degradation and prostitution is nefarious, even more so when it’s other women doing the recruiting instead of the men. It could go left in many ways so quickly. I had a friend who was trafficked and all of this is just so gross to me.
Very well written.
all of what you said is SO REAL. This comment honestly needs to be pinned.❤
You are not alone in your opinions. I fully agree wirh everything you said.
100%
I concur 😢💞🌎💜
Yeah, nurses don't make sh*t here in many states in the US. Neither do teachers, paramedics, public defenders, social workers...The list goes on. It's sad that athletes, influencers, and OF creators are raking in this kind of money while the people holding society up have to live with 2-3 roommates to survive.
Why shouldn’t entertainers be able to make this amount of $. Why do ppl feel they have to put someone down to lift someone up
@@thepinkkush Because they contribute considerably less to society than the pillars holding it up. In a fair world, we would all be paid proportionate to our necessity to society. I appreciate entertainers, but why does a football player or an actor make millions of dollars while a teacher doesn't even make enough to live on? It's sad.
@@TrueImmortality if you’re trying to be paid in a equal and fare world you need to get out of the United States immediately.
@thepinkkush Oh sure, I'll just do that lol. Also, we can change our country from within. We have in the past.
@@TrueImmortality you’re missing what makes America so great having the freedom at we fought for. You know that you can go into a fancy cookie store and buy a six dollar cookie or you can get a whole pack from Walmart for less than six dollars. It doesn’t matter about what you contribute to society. if you want to be paid six dollars for making a cookie you should be able to it should not be up to me to tell you I shouldn’t pay you six dollars because I can go get it somewhere else.
You have the choice to pick a job that pays you well . I went to school to be a high school history teacher, and ended up dropping out because I couldn’t afford the schooling. This just shows you that I willingly signed up, knowing that I was not going to be making any money.
I really don't think it's jealousy or feeling directly threatened that makes women shun the creators of explicit content. I think that many women are just not okay with that industry and the people perpetuating that industry. A small percentage of the creators make mind boggling amounts of money, but as a woman I can't help but fear that that industry makes it harder for me as an ordinary woman to be taken seriously, for me to be valued for myself as a whole person and could put my own relationships at risk.
Interesting point!
Agreed! The industry offers nothing of value to society.
Yes, as if men needed more reasons to treat women like objects
PREACH PREACH PREACH
Sexual norms changing affects us all, even if we don’t participate
I completely agree with you! This work reflects on all women.
These women not caring about their digital footprint is just crazy to me!! Those images will never die 🤦🏽♀️
What's even worse are the videos. Nude images are horrid enough, imagine the videos of such acts🤢
Really tho? You think a digital footprint lasts FOREVER? Okay, Then where are my MySpace photos? Where are my Photobucket pictures?? Cloud data storage isn’t free and doesn’t last forever, those photos and videos have to be stored somewhere and the servers must be active which costs money. Once they turn off the server, the cloud dissipates and all that data is lost. Even the images and videos saved on individual computers must keep that hard drive running to access that data. Once the computer is old enough they get new hard drives and the old ones in up in land fills. Unless someone somewhere is actively paying to archive pictures and videos they only last as long as the platform they are uploaded to. Truth is this is a short term problem. After about 20 years the data isn’t worth paying to store.
I’ll be dead, what do I care. 😂
If you post your face in social media they can deep fake it in porno anyway
@@queenbrii2266 it doesn't stay in one place, or even on the website. One thing that people ignore is that a loooooot of people watching that OF video content are screen-recording it in some way, making screenshots, and then that stuff spreads to other platforms and people. For us "regular people" it's not a huge issue only because thousands and thousands of people don't know us. But think about people who became memes ages ago, or "mature" videos that spread around even in the early days of the internet. People still can't shake them.
onlyfans is a skidmark on our society, but finding someone who isn’t some right wing grifter talking about this is SO relieving
Sex work used to be something that people turned to when they were desperate or had no other options.
But with OF it feels like young girls/naive women are being brainwashed into thinking it’s no big deal.
I have no hate towards sex workers and want them to have legal protections and safe working conditions, but it’s not something that we should be pushing as a “no big deal” thing or a viable career.
It’s so depressing when I see boys and girls start an OF the second they turn 18
The only sane comment in a sea of degrading sex workers
Something really bothered me about the woman saying that a lot of her content is just doing random stuff naked… that’s almost worse to me. I don’t want everything women do to be sexualized. I want to feel like there are moments of existence as a woman that are free from the lustful, objectifying, male gaze.
Y’all and this ‘male gaze’ 🙄
As an ex sex worker, I never once enjoyed sex work. I sadly needed to do it to get by in a desperate situation. Sex work always made me feel dirty and it was degrading. Even though the money was "easy," at the end of the day, it wasn't worth it
And that's you. Not everyone. Sorry you ended up not suitable for the work, but many enjoy and can handle it. Without big stinks and complaints even many of us have only had the opposite of your experience. 🎉
Don't assume it's bad for all because you decided it was for you. You do know men are participating as colleagues in the industry equally as much so what's their story? They suffering too? Or are they different since they're male?
Always interesting to me when one person's yuck becomes the yuck to all. Like, it didn't work for you. That's YOU. You don't like it? Don't do it. Don't consume it. But don't take others down just because you felt dirty. 🎉 Some can't even relate to you because our experience was so different. It's not for everyone but it's for many!
@@PeachesLifeStyleyou sound defensive and I assume this a result of feeling judged. However, she never said anything about “all” she only spoke about her personal experience and how it affected HER. She’s allowed to be honest and say it made her feel dirty and there are several others who have come out and said the same. Just look at the suicide rate in the sex work/porn industry, her experience is very valid.
our young men are sick and believe misogyny is empowering. thank you for bringing awareness to this issue 🩷 almost every young man/ woman is buying into the corn industry and it’s truly horrifying.
Thankyou for watching and I agree it’s crazy how it’s now normal and almost considered common
It's gross how I can't go on social media without a man asking if I have an OF. As if every woman has a menu.. 🙄
@@ellissseven5486 YES!!!! Its like now the expectation is that you are always for sale.
@@ellissseven5486 I think that's because so many do.
Lmao of course ! At what point is it actually a woman’s fault? Do you know the definition of misogyny? Cause clearly you don’t . Nothing about this is misogynistic…at what point is it the woman’s fault ? ALL OF THIS … we thank thank feminists for
I was heavily into feminist Twitter in around 2020 and EVERYONE started doing it so I figured I'd do the same. I thought it'd be a good way to earn money and I support sex work as a legitimate career so I wasn't afraid of any stigma around being a sex worker. I even went as far as to buy lingerie and start doing test videos and things to see how to make my content better. My husband was also totally on board with it, which was the most important thing. But I had some kind of hesitation and so dragged my feet on getting it started. Within that time I watched a how to video by Lena The Plug and she said "Look, if you do this for only one day, it's still out there forever and it will follow you forever". Now I'm SO glad I never took the step. I have no judgement at all on anybody who did it, and half your luck if you made bank out of it, but I just think I would have regretted it. It's a little odd to me now to to see how many people who were talented in other ways (influencers, Iggy Azalea, etc) just resort to it to make a living. To each their own but I have a little concern that some people might regret it? I have nothing to base that on, just a gut feeling and I'm concerned for them.
Also, Iggy Azalea quit music and sold her entire catalogue for $8 million or something. She started doing OnlyFans to provide for her son and now she is selling cryptocurrency (that's what $mother is). I think we need to pull at the thread of influencers/celebs selling cryptocurrency too!
Sounds like iggy is terrible with money
You should watch Coffeezilla if you're interested in learning more about crypto scams and the influencers, celebs who push them, along with the "dark side" of it. Coffeezilla is like THE guy. I learned a lot about the whole industry simply watching him expose or cover the scams. He's incredibly thorough and super knowledgeable. ❤
If you have 5 million dollars investable(assuming Iggy Azalea's 8 million dollar sales figure is pretax) you do not ever need to work again to live a very comfortable lifestyle. Only if you want to live a truly extravagant lifestyle woukld you need any more.
I build products for a living, and one thing I know is that all products need marketing. So if you already have a big following, your product is more likely to be consumed. These OF creators are themselves the product, so they need to get their marketing sorted out to be successful, especially in such a crowded marketplace. This kind of reminds me of MLM's where the promise is lots of $$ and flexibility, but that's only going to be true for a very few people.
Bingo and there are new, younger, different, whatever- ones every minute and growing. It's a nonstop grind. Plus people/men/their audience gets bored and onto the next one.
@@steffymuzeEXACTLY. It’s a rat race.
Like herpes, doing OF will come back to bite you in the ass. The internet NEVER forgets
Money is nice, but my dignity is worth more
If someone is in it for the right reasons and is educated and realistic about what they are doing there can be a lot of dignity in onlyfans. There’s dignity in being able to afford the life you want on your own. It’s not for everyone but not everyone will have regrets
If your your only dignity is your covered skin I would question your IQ
@@KaiAstraStylist Where's the dignity in cooking bacon naked? Right in front of my salad?
@@11beebee not the commenter, but dignity is defined as being worthy of honor or respect as well as having a sense of self-pride. If you hustle that hard, I most certainly think you are worthy of honor and respect and should be proud of yourself. If you have the choice between OF and another job (an actual choice - you’re not forced into OF because you are barely making ends meet), that is where the true empowerment is. It’s sad that our society rewards OF over teaching and nursing, but that’s a reflection of our society, not those who are just trying to play the game the best they can. All IMO, of course.
I miss the days it was harder to get your hands on R18 stuff since it was on a magazine or tapes. Reality is getting into hypersexualization and parasocial relationships to an unhealthy degree
I read a wonderful quote once “when women have nothing lucrative to sell but themselves the choice is more coerced than free”. That what I believe yeah it’s a “free” choice but how free is a choice in a system that’s stacked against you!
I’ve been curious what the hype is all about regarding only fans.
I’m a registered nurse. I’ve made awesome money taking travel positions, though it is extremely exhausting.
My side hustle is pet sitting; I’m going to stick with that. Extra money and enjoyment of caring for fur babies.
To each their own, my personal opinion is, it’s not for me, there’s no amount of money that I would accept to show my intimate parts to strangers. I feel it’s degrading and sexualizes people.
I am not materialistic. Money comes and goes, there’s more respectful ways to make money.
The last girl said it perfectly! If the demand wasn’t there then these women wouldn’t be flocking to the app. Personally I wouldn’t want to be associated with anyone that watch or creating OF content. We are free to do whatever we want but if others don’t agree or feel comfortable with your line of work then you can’t be upset or blame them for their opinions either
A month ago, I fell down this rabbit hole and tbh I felt seduced by the sheer amount of money these women make. Even if I wanted to, I don't think I have the body for it. One thing you didn't touch on was the amount of men on YT teaching other men, primarily, to essentially become pimps. Mostly teaching how to start OF agencies and doing very little to leech off the labor of women while keeping their dignity intact. If there are women selling their bodies, men must capitalize on that somehow, right? It's clear we're regressing in values as a society. What's the point of being a nurse or a teacher if you can't buy a house? You might not be able to to get a traditional job again and may lose relationships but the point is the pay everything off so you own it outright. I also just think what's the difference between a Dita Von Teese, who I adore, and an OF model? It's the packaging.
I’ve seen more men trying to help men stay focused and away from this trap of giving their money to models and content creators in order to create their own empire/stability than what you mentioned. In fact not once has a video popped up on my feed (on any platform) on how to create an agency and capitalize on women. I would say if you’re seeing this, it’s far outweighed by the men trying to do good.
I met Dita Von Teese at a convention years ago with a photographer I knew. She is amazing, so kind, beautiful and tiny like a porcelain doll 💕 This industry has changed so much, it's unreal. And yes, we are regressing as a society and it's truly frightening.
I made only fans to get a house and it gave me that opportunity. The military barely helped, nursing is a crappy career that you will work until you d:@d . Nurses and teachers quit anyways.
@@devilmaycry9969 exactly, i agree. and yet look at all these comments and this caitlin girl liking comments that say "this is disgusting" and negative sht like that.
people are burnt out and can no longer do it anymore, nursing is a bad career and there's ton of nurses on social media telling new students to not take nursing as a career cause it is soul crushing and draining work where you will not be respected at all. apparently OF is also soul-crushing and you "wont get respect" but guess what -- you can buy a house and pay your bills unlike being a nurse or a teacher (which is 2 examples of women being in these careers mentioned in this video and they were tired of their 9-5 job not paying them benefits and for their hard work and they quit their job to go make big bags from OF) I will never judge someone that wants that kind of freedom.
That is scary
While I do agree that a woman can do what she wishes to do with her own body.. I don't care for the glamorization of it. These women that brag about how much they make feels over inflated, they use it as a marketing ploy. It doesn't reflect the true reality.
It's similar as being a stripper. Sure on a great night they might make a lot, but there's nights they make barely anything. They're not on social media bragging about making $20 in a night, you only see the overly glamorized "look at this stack of cash" get shared on social media. It feels fake and shady to me.
Dead on!!!
Social media is a highlight reel
Nobody highlights the shitty side of any jobs. Its really strongly marketed as all wonderful but idk if anyone makes much money unless they are already famous.
I think the bad nights are made up for with the good nights. In decent strip bars I've heard about some awful places
It's called hype. Like the drake and kendrick beef. One need to create hype to get people talking
Money that comes too easy also leaves the same way. It's not worth it. It's just not.
Perfectly said.
But they can save 😭😭
Exactly!! I refer to that type of money as Monopoly money. 💰
You think that work is easy?? I think it’s one of the hardest jobs on earth.
Not if you invest right. Make a million dollars, put it into the S&P 500, live off the dividends for the rest of your life. Never touching the principle.
I love the direction your channel has taken. More of these please! :)
Same!
Thankyou so much! That’s really encouraging to hear ☺️
If this had been a thing when I was 20, I totally would have done it. As I near 40, I am so glad that it wasn't a thing!!
That's exactly what I've said before! I actually was a dancer twice and I know my stupid butt would have fallen for this. I feel so sad for the girls who will feel this way when they're our age who have made an OF and wish they could take it back. I think I've heard where it's lead to some un-alivings of themselves. I still worry someone may have recorded me or taken pics in the club and I'm sure there's something out there of me but yeah, I'm happy you avoided that fate as well!
@@thatcrazychiknextdoor258 I also ventured onto that stage. Thank God things weren't being recorded then the way they are now. I'm a mother! And therapist! Such decisions nowadays could devastate futures!
You can always try. There's some niche corner in every aspect of life for everyone.
I could also get more money if I sold drugs...
I see the appeal, but personally I could never do it. Intimacy is special and selling it just doesn’t feel right. I would also be concerned about how this would affect my loved ones
Your self respect is worth infinitely more than any amount of money! Once it's gone it's gone forever. Absolutely not okay with OF and it makes me so depressed for womankind that they've been duped into thinking this is empowering.
Absolutely! Thank you!
I don’t think all of them have been duped. Look at the former nurse, for example. Anyway, I think they are playing the game in the best way that they know how. These women aren’t stupid. Self-respect comes from oneself, not from societal expectations. You make your dough, you file your taxes correctly, you save enough to retire - I would respect myself quite a bit.
its not for everyone! some enjoy it
If wages weren’t stagnant this wouldn’t exist. I personally wouldn’t do it unless it was a last resort but we live in a capitalist society so this in inevitable
@@arozeisarozie😂😂😂
The data says that the average OF makes like 150$ but it won’t say the median and the distribution suggests what any social media suggests, what we all know:
you already have = you get
You don’t have = you can’t get
The women who make bank are the once who take can their followers & then convert it to OF followers. For your normal Jane Doe they will only make abt 2k per month. Many C & D list celebs make hundreds of thousands.
The tiny teeny sneak peak and “you’re welcome” 😂❤
😂 quite saucy for a soft launch if I do say so myself
More power to any woman who does, but there's nothing I hate more than sexual attention from random men. 😂 I worry we are only feeding the beast.
Agreed.
I concur 🤞🏿💞🌎💜
Same
Amen!!!!!!!!! So well said
No hate for the women, but the men? Barf + I go out of my way not to be attractive to men. We are feeding the beast by giving them what they want under the guise of empowerment
Some men honestly think women owe them something because they're so used to paying for this type of content. That's why some expect action from a first date. It's all become a cheap exchange.
Lots to unpack. Exploiting your sexuality to earn money is nothing new; OnlyFans is just a new way to do it. However, I do wonder how many creators take their personal safety into account. Just because you interact with fans through screens does not mean someone cannot find out where you live.
Yes, I am certain there will be a long term trend of stalking and crimes.
It is safer than other s3xwork even though it also has its dangers.
It’s not empowering to sell your body. It’s empowering to respect yourself and your body.
I think everyone has become numb to this type of content now. Seeing a naked person isn't as exciting or shocking as it used to be even 10 years ago. No one is really surprised another woman has created an account, as another man pays for it.
True. Everything is too exposed nowadays, there is no mystery, there’s no secrecy. I preferred when some things were left unknown.
Seeing someone naked shouldn’t be exciting or shocking.
@joelle4226 it is if youre attracted to them.
It's fast money, low effort money, and that's the long and short of it. As a CPA, i can see the appeal because it would be nice to pull those numbers, but long term, what does all that xxx stuff do to you mentally and emotionally.
In addition to the mental aspect, what happens when this wave ends? They’re all buying mansions, cars, luxury bags, taking lavish vacations…how many of these women are actually saving anything for when their beauty fades? At that point their videos and pictures are easily accessible to anyone with internet, who’s to say they’ll be able to get a decent job? It’s all very short-sighted.
@@amandajohnson8116yup exactly.

Imagine getting married to the love of your life and then you find out he’s out there subscribing to multiple women on only fans
Many men who are in relationships do
A lot of married men justify it and compartmentalize their consumption of pr0n and OF but in reality they are redirecting their time, energy, and money towards OF when they ought to be putting those resources towards their marriage and family, which is what they promised on their wedding day. It feels like betrayal to their wives because that’s what it is.
Many women have their husband's drain savings to give to OF girls. It's ridiculous.
That’s because they’re in sexless marriages so they gotta get they release somewhere. Do I condone it no, I think it’s dumb to pay a woman anything just to look at her. But do I understand some of the married men doing it yes.
@@rockyrillz105 thats still so degrading and disrespectful to their wives though. Idk if they would feel the same way if their wives did the same behaviour...
I respect sex workers and believe they deserve protection, but I would never encourage anyone to enter into that field willingly if they have other options. I think the risks typically far outweigh the rewards and it can put women in dangerous situations or have repercussions that we cannot foresee.
I feel the same way!
another thing I feel strange about is doctor/nurse to tiktok/social media influencer pipeline. many of them completely leave their jobs that, sorry to say but, actually give back to the community, and their number is rising.
edit: it’s all understandable though, tiktok pays better in many aspects than saving lives…says a lot about our society obsessed with narcissistic behaviour/people
They call it empowering, all I see is low self esteem and looking for validation from the outside. We really need to start working on our mental health ASAP.
I agree. Although there are (I believe) a small percentage of women that come at this strategically, a vast number have no idea of the extreme negative outcomes. Not sure why, but the nurse Only Fans creator popped up in my recommended. The title basically bragged about the amount of income, ease, and enjoyment she gets from doing OF. Young men sitting in a dark room clicking into his OF account. Young woman pops up to stimulate the wrong head. OMG! I've become a prude. lol
Watch till their pretty privilege and youth dies out, they won't call it empowering anymore 🤫
Yep. We're doomed as a society for this reason but rather, it's called "Influencing" now.
Preach! I love that you called this out, no one is saying this because of appearing judgmental, but it's absolutely true and we have to start being honest about it.
I think it’s more to do with stagnant wages and rising COL
Maybe I am a bit naive but I find it odd that so many men (and women) pay subscription fees for this. It’s really weird.
Yeah I never once thought of subbing to a OF but so many do. I'm too stingy to pay to see anyone's @ss. 😂😂😂
That!! 😑🥃
Its sad when children are having their parents taking pictures for pornografic OF creation. Or when children being punished for their parents actions. I don't know how to solve this but boundaries between parents and children should be there.
It’s sad when parents aren’t making enough feel they have to go do this
@thepinkkush it takes a certain kind of a person to do it. Poor or not
It's so sad to see so many young women on OF thinking making 300K a year is normal and for what? To buy handbags? What's that saying...easy money, hard consequences!
Agreed!
An entire future of regrets and humiliation. Sadness and depression. For themselves and their children.
Ironically some of these top earners are basically making 300k to a million a year. There are classic more hazardous jobs and many basic businesses that can earn that. Working on an oil rig, electric line worker, builder inspector, plumber and more. The reality is even if women did not want to do some of these careers long term you could do it for a few years and change to something else. Do it long enough to buy a house and set up an investment portfolio and then stop.
They buy a mansion, handbags and cars. This wave will wain to a ripple and then what? This isn’t sustainable and most of them aren’t considering the future (in multiple ways).
@@LotusesGalaxyOceanlet us be real. Most careers don’t lead to house buying these days. A 30/hr nursing job will never get you a good investment portfolio. Get real.😂
OF is not only about porn, but it's definitely the most popular use of it currently. the good thing about this platform is that it has very strict identification to ensure that no one below 18 is accessing the website or/and content, where the same Twitter or Twitch both have issues with sexually provocative content being distributed and promoted to underage users (since both of those are 13+ and considered to be family friendly)
so yes, it is questionable in terms of sex work and etc, however, at the same time OF does WAY more work on protecting children compared to any other platforms
edit: also it's not exclusive to women, men also make accounts and make a lot of money from it
That radio UA-cam show “however” was very men vs only fan girls- the men are free to start their only fans too.
Exactly. Men are on it too yet women are the only ones being shamed for having an OF.
@@nikkismith2858those men won't start anything because they are so 'masculin' that would shortcircuit their only brain cell available.
That’s what I was going to ask. Do you necessarily have to do naked stuff on OF? I don’t think so. I don’t think it’s only always about being naked
@@Madeleine452 absolutely not! there are many many SFW accounts
people are simply choosing the platform instead of youtube, patreon, etc because they prefer its monetization type more
NSFW is still 90% of content on there, however OF doesn't always mean NSFW :)
As a celibate woman who is on the dating scene. I must say that these women are NOT my issue. My issue is with the women that gives these same things away FREELY and easily (making it hard for the rest of us) because truth is, gu¥s will ALWAYS need to pay to have access to these girls and that industry has been around for decades, men were still gentlemen BACK THEN. Things only changed when women became so ‘casual’ about everything and EASY. We have women sharing these SAME types of content for FREE online because a gu¥ asked her for it. Yet it’s a problem when it’s done in a business sense? 👀 it doesn’t bother nor affect me one bit 😂 I believe that the women that have a problem with it are simply jealous and for the gu¥s, it’s simply because they now feel ENTITLED to a woman. So for them it’s like… why should they have to pay? When others are doing it for free? It’s a way of shaming them. That’s all. 😂😴🚮
My body and my dignity are not for sale at ANY price...and that goes double for my child and family's dignity and wellbeing.
When young women consider doing this, they should first watch a bunch of the hundreds of 'Only Fans Ruined My Life' vids on youtube.
There's no going back and starting over once you've done OF...your content is out there for LIFE.
It’s insane the amount of girls I see coming out with such deep regrets!!
Don't shame the women unless you're gonna shame the men using onlyfans too. Also this is the economic climate we have created as a society.
1000% it’s the subscribers that create the market to make this appealing
The fact that multi-millionaire musicians, tv actresses, etc are doing it tells me what I already knew. This is purely about attention… ladies, this isn’t empowering -it’s the exact opposite. Your pictures are out in the world FOREVER. You’ve sold your soul.
It also indicates that many conventional celebrities don't have the type of money many people think they have.
@@akeemalleyne5890 I personally think that’s more of an indicator that they’re not fiscally responsible with the mo why they have been paid.
@@amandajohnson8116, to an extent, yes. But many just don't make the money that people think they do. The potential taxes from a place like California alone would shrink their money massively.

Some of those videos should absolutely not be on TikTok. There are literal 10 year olds on that app. Omg.
OF is way too oversaturated now. The risk to reward ratio is so messed up. You had to get in almost a decade ago to make any money, and most OF creators were already influencers before joining. Most new creators won't make any money nowadays. You'd make more money working at Wendy's.
I am anti sex work because it is honestly a dangerous and predatory industry but i am pro sex worker [i would never encourage anyone to take this up but i do believe they deserve respect and protection] because throughout history and even now these people [especially women] have been treated as less than human because of what they do. Which is crazy because men, the main consumers and sustainers of the industry are rarely ever viewed/impacted negatively.
I think its going to be interesting a few years from now to observe the impact only fans will have had on society [especially young people]
Onlyfans is disgusting, end of
Let’s not forget the social media to corn 🌽 addiction. Ruining men’s minds and relationships.
Men are in control of themselves. As are women. Men choose to consume and indulge themselves on OF content and p’orn. Men are their own downfall and have no one else to blame but themselves.
Another thought provoking vid chick! Sara Blakely from Spanx said it best " money only amplifies who you already were".. she is a billion dollar entrepreneur , who is a self starter and never sold her soul. She worked to build her brand of women's shapewear and fill a need for women while she was doing it. So many influencers build their brands on doing nothing, but showcasing their bodies and showing what they have for lunch. Their only goal is fame and money.. so it makes sense that they will get it any way they can. if your only purpose is money, you will do it any way you can. Even if it means selling your soul to get there. It ties in with the narcissism and ego trend. From the outside, many of these people appear to have everything ( if materialism is all that matters) however they are deeply insecure people and incredibly shallow. When it's all said and done, where will their lives be in 10 years from now? It's so sad what we are promoting to the next generation.
Don't worry, AI porn influencers would compete with OF creators. It has actually begun and men find it easier and cheaper to deal with AI porn actor.
Sara Blakely was smart to capitalize on something that was missing from that industry so she made her bags. There's so many people that would do it if they could. Ask 1000 men if they would be a women for a day to do OF and I bet at least more than 55% would say yes, as in, the majority would say yes.
Also whats wrong with selling your body? Jenna Marbles (who is loved by the youtube community and for so many years) sold her body at first and made it fit a comedy genre and then she built a brand from that and made millions of dollars then after a few years, quit youtube to live happily.
So you wouldn't do that? Fine then let these people (men and women) do OF and hopefully that leads them to financial freedom.
If I could make a million from it, I would invest in it into stocks and live off the dividend at 4% a year. I already buy stocks to begin with but having millions makes life easier.
I applaud the women that made it out of poverty because I work with people that are homeless AS PART OF MY JOB and they are willing to do anything to get a job and a place to call home. How do you not see the systemic barriers? How do you not see how often people struggle to get by? I see it everyday and help them navigate the systems and its getting increasingly hard because many federal programs are reducing grants for our non-profits. Don't do you see? This could be the solution for some people to help themselves go from one socioeconomic class to the next and be able to support themselves.
If anybody looks down on OF creators, they should also look down on all the men who are the reason OF exists.
Yes. It wouldn’t exist if there weren’t customers
I follow boxing and I see many fighters have only fans now (including male ones). It’s apparently for fitness content but I find it so weird even if it’s innocent since we associate the brand with adult material. It’s just very odd to see their sponsorships during professional fight on the shorts or whatever. It’s a bit like Ring Girls, I never liked it and most professional boxing in Europe seems to done away with it, but US still has them even for female bouts. I find it jarring.
Wow I didn’t know that! 😮
They get paid by Onlyfans to join the platform, that's kinda different... the strategy of the company is to reach outside of sex work so they sponsor boxer and other artists... same for fansly who seek to gain audience with streamer (like ludwig and the sponsporship of his chess tournament) they try to enter new fields to find new audiences...
omg, I absolutely LOVE that you used Hollyannaeree as your thumbnail‼️ I used to watch her videos for make-up and lifestyle content, and her channel has changed SO dramatically. It’s SUCH a bummer to see all her talent as a make-up artist wasted, and all her engaging lifestyle content just disappear. I’ve always wondered if it’s due to her promising OF or what. 😩😭
omg i couldn't believe it was her, i havent watched her since a decade maybe. she was up there with Michelle Phan who I would watch and Jlovesmac1
Omg I was just thinking about jlovesmac the other day. I use to watch her and makeupbyleinababy all the time.
I like how you put in clips of them speaking. It's crazy just how many have the cliche "little girl voice".
I wonder what the Venn diagram looks like between OF and abused...
I don’t really care what people do. But I don’t think it’s good mentally for the women who are doing it. To put yourself worth as just a sex object. And not good for men to consume so much sexual content without meaning and connections. I love sex too. But at some point there should be a good balance of love and sex.
As a female entrepreneur myself, I say this isn’t women’s empowerment. It’s the opposite. While they’re upping their game by degrading themselves more and more just to get the bag, I’m upping my game as a sociologist with businesses that is all about community building.
The girls might be getting financial freedom but it’s a very hedonistic approach. This is destructive to society in the long run. Learning how to get financial freedom through many income streams without selling your dignity is possible, more profitable and definitely more sustainable.
Yeah that's possible for anyone who is only fans ,sure. Wouldn't it be nice if all jobs paid a living wage? People have jobs and are homeless and that right there is a social problem. The people who say. No, people don't deserve a livin wage if you work at,for example , a fast food place are sick in the head ,too. That people really say that anyone should work a full-time job but don't deserve to make a living wage at it is absurd. So your businesses are helping the community but you don't say in what way.
If anyone has financial freedom from using only fans , why shouldn't they do it. Its certainly better than a low paying job that is physically hard in a way that leaves you physically disabled later in life and all of your hard work got you what? Poverty and a broken up body
Lost me with ‘dignity’ if you use such a subjective word like that it tells everyone this is about how YOU feel about it smh
I agree with you 100%
@@alisonmercer5946
I own an art studio that tutors disadvantaged people including those with disabilities, an achievement advocating service, and run life skills workshops in affiliation with governmental programs. I worked hard to get a government grant to kickstart that business.
People think the government is the enemy. It’s not. If you have something of value to offer society then you are considered an asset and will be rewarded with financial support by the government to get your business off the ground provided you go through the right channels.
In other words, we need as a society to stop using all of the excuses to justify immoral actions. Selling your dignity online is not only detrimental to your mental health, it perpetuates brain rot in the consumers which causes societal collapse.
So if you choose this lifestyle, and it ends up hurting you (and it will) then that’s on you…because you have plenty of other options. You don’t live in a country where you are at risk of losing your home and family because of an air raid bombing. Think of all the people in this world who don’t even have clean water.
Sick of all these online degenerate s workers complaining about low wages just because they want a unattainable materialistic lifestyle.
Put things into perspective. If you put your effort in bettering yourself, you will end up with a decent paying job that doesn’t require you to show your pink bits to lonely perverts. Don’t forget the damage it does to your reputation =future, your children, your life partner etc.
PLAY THE LONG GAME LADIES.
I don’t have an issue with OnlyFans or sex work in concept. In application it’s a mess. So much of society is focused on short term gains rather than long term gains. We see so much about OnlyFans as such an easy way to make money and money equals happiness. Basically, just the positives are being promoted. There’s a lot more to this type of career and its impact on these creators that very few talk about. We used to only hear negatives about sex work and now we seem to only hear the positives. The psychological impact, the effect on their loved ones, the issues that SW has on their personal intimate relationships. I could go on. That’s not even mentioning how the current type of SW plays into misogyny and patriarchal ideas of a woman’s place. Just because it’s better than standing on a street corner doesn’t mean it’s a “good” thing.
This will literally destroy society
Most people are lying about how much they're making on OF to sell a course and even then, it's still not worth it. You can't put a price on intimacy.
I agree with your thoughts, I think our society is crumbling, I think it being “empowering for women” is an excuse for an easier route. This is spitting on the graves of all the women that came before us that fought so hard for us to be taken seriously, for what we can bring OTHER than our bodies.
Also men, your children are 100% watching how you treat other women. I wouldn’t want my daughter doing only fans. We need to create a society that values other things.
You know, this comment is the first one I’ve ever read which helped me understand exactly why sex work isn’t feminism. Thank you.
I love your channel. It’s nice to watch someone who has very similar views and expresses themselves so well. Thank you for going in this direction. Please keep it up. We will continue to watch. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
The only thing you forgot to mention when bringing up that men keep buying it and accentually, if they didn’t buy it then less women would be doing it. Is - it’s still an addict-ion like other things!
People shouldn’t buy pharmaceuticals off the street. _However,_ we don’t say that because they’re buying it, no wonder people are selling it because we understand that in a way, it’s not 100% their fault for their addict-ion and people are prosecuted for taking advantage of them by doing that! It’s just not seen as important/serious (for lack of a better word), when we’re talking about men (in general) and with their different vices that they have to give their brain that “I love this; I want more! *I NEED more!”* feeling. That is a *huge* component in this whole thing!
SOULED out..heartbreaking that people are doing anything for money
Capitalist society for you. Those who can make the most money with the least effort wins.
I believe it's an easy cop-out and does reflect laziness & lack of creativity, as you suggested at the end. I've seen some artists whose fashion sense and style I liked & was disappointed that they were also OF influencers.. I couldn't help but think "what a waste" b/c they're catering to the male gaze & setting a shitty example for women rather than potentially doing something positive & contributing to society. Of course OF is prob much easier money though.
I’m glad people are talking about this; I’m sure a lot of us have contemplated it; I know I have. I almost fell for the money and the ability to be at home and for the idea that “well you give it away for free anyways” sigh.
I personally wouldn't do it. I worry for the future of these women's mental health when they are older and the impact of these choices land. I'm all for people making money, but realistically, the boom has already been and it's not easy bank.
Im considering it now 🧐🧐 Topless handbag reviews anyone?? 😂

😂 new niche incoming
As a retired SW, I’ll always support other women in the industry. But I have a problem with the industry itself and their practices. Also how p*rn addiction affects men is extremely detrimental. Causes er•ctile dysfunction and intimacy issues.
Just out of curiosity, why don’t you mention the men that are OF creators? They don’t have the same stigma as the women that do..
I was socialized as a male so take this with a grain of salt. I don't think it's the nudity that is the problem I think the economy and the optics around it that is the problem. You can't make the cost of living almost impossible to achieve and get mad when people exploit certain things to their advantage to live or to live well. That's exactly what the people we call "pioneers" did. That's just my opinion. Almost literally what the last woman said in that podcast.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

This is a cam very nuanced conversation that, as Simone said, can’t be unpacked in a UA-cam comment. There’s economic exploitation, life under the patriarchy, capitalism, ethical consumption, sexual liberation, ethical porn, etc.
I personally believe sex work can be ethical, but due to our social and economic structure, it’s very difficult. Yet equally, I do believe sexual liberation and ethical adult content is valid, yet how we go about it.
I feel like if the main reason “sex work” is done is for money m, I don’t think it’s “ethical.” I think it’s the same way how people are over working themselves in typical 9-5s; I dint consider that “ethical” either.
Yet, “sex work” is highly exploitative. Any, this is a basic summery if my thoughts
Edit: also, our society does need to do collective reckoning in who we shame and why we do so
Love your take! A lot of people need to realize that all work is exploitive. I felt more exploited making $12 an hour from a company who made billions in profits.
What we need to do is have a mandatory living wage. Nobody should have to do sex work in order to live a comfortable life and be able to add to a savings.
I prefer stripping to a regular 9-5 job because im adhd and i like not having a schedule and just deciding on a whim if i wanna work. I like hanging out with other girls who have a similar sense of humor to me and I have arthritis and found that this job helps me stay active and in less pain because of the dancing. When i was in retail my legs are killing me at the end of the day because i wasn’t allowed to sit, and as a dancer im allowed to sit whenever i want.
It’s crazy how these little things like being allowed to sit in a chair have a massive impact on how tolerable the job is
Are we ignoring that there are levels to exploitation and this industry is the most invasive?
@KaiAstraStylist Few people are being made to do sex work, there are ways to make a lot of money while keeping your dignity in tact.
Sex work is work, period. But as with everything else in our world, hyper capitalism ruins everything. It’s only a choice if you’re fine without it, which also applies to all other shit jobs, shitty homes with sky high rent, etc
You know what i am so sick of people shaming these girls. If going to college, or working a job paid better they would do that. But it doesnt. I consider juggling three jobs to afford to live as self abuse not of work
It’s all very polarizing 🤔 OF has a similar business model to Patreon but NSFW. Lots of women are overworked and underpaid so if they see a chance to be a top 1% OF creator making millions. I can see how it can be enticing. But I’m still concerned about safety and privacy issues. As well as the rise of OF pimps trying to steal their money smh
It’s the same exact thing as patreon lol
This is such an interesting conversation! Thank you for the video Caitlin ❤

It is not surprising that women who tried and failed to maintain an income stream flaunting products in videos move on to monetize their own bodies when that runs out.

It keeps many lonely men pacified and comfortably numb so they dont start making problems for the economy. Men with unused sexual energy and all that dormant testosterone can actually cause a huge threat to a modern, stabile civilization, and since they have nothing to offer to women they end up single so this type of *work* keeps them sedated

They wouldn't exist if there wasn't a market. Honestly, the women control what happens and gives me a sense peace for them. For years men blabbed up and down about sex workers as if they aren't the majority of consumers. Men are mad because they can't shame such women anymore because the women today refuse to be shamed by the very people who consume their content. Honestly, I'm happy for them. I hope those who are uncomfortable in those spaces have the strength and fortitude to leave. As for the rest, do what you have to, make wise money choices since it's not a long-term thing, don't be a slave to the lifestyle. As for the rest of the women, if you feel judgemental, you're valid, these are new and societal issues that were a taboo for the longest time, but I hope we remember that these are consenting adults and these creators are safer behind the screen than if they were to face their clients in person (serial killers targeted sex workers). They have autonomy and choice. To the women who could care less, more power to you. I wouldn't encourage anyone to go down that road, but I hope we are okay with be able to agree to disagree.
The Ukrainian owner is who controls everything, the women may make their choices in privacy, but he is exploiting them all the same.

I can see how it is easy money and how enticing it is. However there are also quite known OF creators that had a change of heart recently and stopped with it and then you hear how hard it is on your soul to be a product and always deliver more, because people will walk away if you don't and it comes with a lot that you have to give up and a lot of woman don't see that always when they start. I think a good question is that 'if you want to stop, what do you still have', because if money is the only answer, you've got a problem. Money gives security, for sure, but people that love you and care about you isn't something you can buy, and I think when you are basically a product that especially is enticing to men, I can see why other women don't want to be around OF creators, so your circle will be very small in the end I imagine and the question is if that's worth it for you. Great video though!
I would say with OnlyFans once you start in that type of industry it is hard to pivot into another non-entertainment/influencer industry if you don’t make the type of money you want. Also, your reputation is forever tainted with the videos and images you put out.
I used to not care and echoed the sentiment, “live and let live.” But no, I’m super against this type of work now because it’s a net negative for society. As a woman who’s ready to have children, I don’t want my kids growing up in a culture where glamorized forms of prostitution is the norm
Escort, stripper, OnlyFans - it’s nothing more than glamorized prostitution
What i don’t understand is why the blame on women? The video clip where the guy said “its because of women and this content that we have weak men” is absolutely absurd. If women stopped making the content men would find a way of creating this content for themselves, we are seeing this now with the rise of AI women who are making just as much money because men are wanting this content. Majority of these AI women are created by men and corporations.
The blame alone lies in the people consuming this content. Stop consuming it and it will stop the revenue
The blame is heavily on the platforms, websites, and studios who sell it too. These platforms market for young people to join on both ends. It might not be OF doing it, but young little boys and girls are absolutely groomed by society to consume this content. It’s not looking at the whole picture to only blame those who consume this content.
I love the sun light in your face. ❤ You are beautiful. ❤ Love the video, hun.
The internet is starting to scare me 😢
