Really appreciate that you're making a massive effort to create sustainability in your wardrobe and the way you shop - totally understand that that's often at odds with the nature of your job but honestly I think you're doing great! Sorry that you're feeling so anxious about it, but sometimes engaging with productive discomfort (emphasis on the productive) can really do wonders for the way we engage with issues in our lives - personal, political or otherwise! Love your content and have really enjoyed seeing you grow and develop over the years xxx
Lizzie, you are such a good egg. I’m really coasting in my work right now too. A list of things that gets me inspired. -art museums, especially when I go alone. -going dancing. -baking something difficult and new. -sewing up my old battered clothing. -taking care of my skin. -going to go see classical music live. -engaging in conversation with a stranger. Maybe these will help. Growth is uncomfortable. Take care Lizzie.
Everyday I fall in love with your content more and more! I’ve never been so excited by an influencer and I’m so grateful for all the inspiration you give me (and all your other followers) - thanks Lizzy ❤️
Happy Birthday Lizzie! Would love to see around your new neighbourhood, partly because I lived around there in the early 2000's and I would love to see how its changed. I also thought it would be really interesting for a series to see parts of London that you go to, not just see the neighbourhood but with a bit of a focus of seeing it through a lens as you have a good eye for interesting things like the architecture and capturing a vibe. I am putting this badly as its after 1am in Australia, but when you showed the photography book you had bought, I was thinking I would love to see London through that kind of focus.
I think it's completely unfair to criticize you on the sustainability thing. Most people don't understand how it is to be an influencer and make a living that way. And I don't think people in other professions gets criticized for everything they do that isn't sustainable. Do they criticize taxi drivers for polluting? Do they criticize everyone in the food industry that serves meat? Do they criticize cabin crew for flying? Probably not. But if you're an influencer who's job is to promote brands and to give your audience fashion inspiration then you are called out for having a lot of clothes. I do of course think it's important that influencers show concern for the environment, but like everyone else they also need to make a living. And I think you, Lizzy, are doing your best to become more and more sustainable and that is great.
Hilde Elisa K I don't really understand this argument though and whenever I hear it I cringe a little. When you decide to be self-employed in any profession, you very literally choose your job. And you can choose how to carry it out. There will always be certain factors out of your control because your chosen industry works in a certain way, but the beauty and huge advantage of being self-employed is exactly that you have so much more freedom than employed people. Fashion influencers don't have to behave in a certain way or be fired -they don't have to do hauls or work with certain brands or do these or those videos if they don't want to. There are many bloggers and youtubers who deal with fashion in a different way, talking about capsule wardrobes, shopping your wardrobe, 10x10 challenges, talking about the industry or style without buying any items... Of course this might be risky and maybe not everyone wants to take the leap and risk losing their income, which I understand completely. But then that's still a choice you're making of security over sustainability. Again, I do understand if someone makes that choice. I don't need my influencers to be saints. But then you have to accept the role you're playing and if there's criticism about it, just accept it (and I mean respectful criticism, not hate or trolling). You cannot choose to be part of the fashion industry (and influencers are a huge part) and then say "but it's my job". You chose this job. You know what role you're playing. I appreciate whenever someone tries to think about sustainability and make small changes and start conversations, thats a good use of their platforms. But unless they change their focus completely they will still be called out for their part in the machine and I think they should either accept this contradiction and live with it (that includes receiving criticism) or really work towards a new model of blogging about fashion from a more sustainable point of view, and for real though -not necessarily Lizzie's case, but I see so many people vowing to become more sustainable and every month there's still new purchases, we see wardrobe clearouts of obscene amounts of clothing followed by hauls because "I was missing a few bits".
Lizzy! There is one massive question, you cannot leave unanswered: DID you manage to get the necklace out from behind the radiator in your previous flat? Need to know! 😄
What an absolute vibe to establish the vid. Also, I loved your comment in your moving vlog about making your home not perfectly styled but styled-ish in a way that’s lived in but still aesthetically pleasing. I’ve taken that note on board and I’ve started re-arranging my home and I’m already feeling so much better about it!! Also your appreciation of light and how it transforms a space is something that I’ve also noticed more of late in my own place and it’s making me appreciate afternoon light so much more!!
Just a light-hearted comment to let you know how satisfied I was by the soft close bin moment whilst you were sorting the kitchen. An expensive bin, but a great one.
I know price is all relative to what you can afford but £1k+ seems so much for a puffa when you get get more reasonably priced. The Acne is also eye wateringly expensive but it's so chic and classic.
I think the argument is that you are constantly documenting on what to buy and not exactly how to get rid of clothes, work with what you have or buy used/second hand. You also don't mention these brands ethical standpoints and reasons you back brands (other than what you think is cute). Excited for your transparency in the blog post you are referring to.
Michelle McBride • Exactly. It’s like when she’s contemplating the Acne coat, Lizzy is justifying it saying she’ll be able to wear it season after season. And while that’s true, we know that realistically she will be wanting other coats in the next coming years as well. Even though they might be timeless, she will not be wearing the same coat year after year. And that’s fine, I like to change it up myself too. But I don’t label myself sustainable. It’s so silly, bloggers seem to think it’s a whole achievement to wear something for three years, while regular people who never even talk about sustainability will easily wear items for much longer. Regular people wear “fast fashion” much longer than bloggers wear high quality pieces. And we don’t have a specific coat for all sorts of occasions. Just because you don’t have a coat of a certain length or thickness, doesn’t mean you _need_ it. Just buy it if you want it, but don’t talk about sustainability then, would be my advice to Lizzy.
S N • I’m just not very interested in long explanations and justifications for buying something. Bloggers, just buy whatever you think is appropriate and keep thoughts about sustainability to yourself. We understand you’re trying to do your best (or not).
S M • I’m not necessarily against consumerism, I’m no saint either. But I don’t throw the word sustainability around all the time. Like you say, just admit that you’re (Lizzy) a channel about buying stuff, even though you try to be conscious of that. But do not spend a long time on buying a coat or not and saying you will be wearing that for years. You probably will. But you will be buying or receiving new coats too. Let’s keep it real. *you = Lizzy
Do you watch her videos to learn about sustainable fashion brands or because you think her outfits are cute? The content you’re describing is available, and people tire of it quickly. I don’t think anyone is being honest with themselves when thinking they’d watch the same capsule wardrobe be styled again and again. This is her job and it only exists because there’s an audience for it.
Angela Brock • no, I wouldn’t, but that’s why I’m saying, just admit you’re not sustainable, even though you try (a little bit). That’s all. Edit: I do watch couple of vintage fashion channels. But in the end, I hardly follow any channel religiously. Even lots of new stuff gets boring.
Love how you've settled into your new home, it seems to suit you so well. Amazing that you're now living in my old neighbourhood, I grew up by Victoria Park, I moved away in my mid-thirties - a lot of significant life events actually happened within those gates !! Mum is still there but seeing it on film really made me feel nostalgic. I hope you have a fantastic birthday, feels like only the other week you were birthday shopping with your mum. Try not to let certain comments get you down, it's only someone's opinion. I know on the whole people are nice, it's a shame more people can't be as thoughtful, constructive & polite when commenting. X
I come to you for style inspiration and also what’s new out there on the high street and online. That’s YOUR job, DON’T feel ashamed of that. Some people and their strong negative opinions are NOT necessary. Keep doing YOU. For Example, the Everlane blazer you showed a while back , I bought that because of YOU. And how you styled it. You also introduced me to COS which you use to shop all the time in your older videos. I still shop there even though I realize you don’t anymore . Do you and be you! Keep the fashion videos coming and what’s new because that’s YOUR job. ♥️♥️💁🏾♀️☺️♥️♥️
Hiya! 😊I think you deserve some positive feedback here my love... It kind of sadden me when you said please guys be nice... Because it is obvious that you try hard for the results of your work, and this is why I am a returning sub. There is no reason for someone to not be nice to you. What you do is very hard in many ways and it is obvious that you care. I also want to wish you happy bithday 🎂 and I hope you have a fab 👌 day with your lovely mum!! xx 💕
Can we take a second to talk about the intro?!? LOVE. There are many things that I love about your channel/Instagram/blog, but what I like the most is that you're not afraid to experiment. Re: sustainability--I totally get it. The fact that you're being so mindful is a testament to how much you really care. I think we're all in the same boat, but criticism is much "louder" for you since this journey is being documented. Both coats are fab, but I think you'd reach for the Acne one more.
Hi Lizzie, I never comment on anything ever, but I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that you come across like such a genuine person! I love the content you put out there for us to enjoy - please keep doing what you're doing. I find being talked through what you're reading and hearing your opinion on various subject matters especially delectable, rather than the more fashion-focused content. I drank up yours and Lindsey's podcast so quickly, and it really warmed up my overcrowded London Overground commute. Thank you!
I think the problem with the “sustainability” conversation is that people forget that we’re all adults here. We can choose what we buy and what we don’t buy. I have always thought that “haul” videos, and more generally the role of “influencers” to be that they buy and are gifted a lot of items precisely so we don’t have to. Then based on reviews or our own tastes we can buy things in a more informed way than for example just seeing something in a shop, catalogue or magazine. I never thought the idea was supposed to be that we bought everything too... I think we could all be having better conversations about caring for our clothes and fast fashion, but I have an issue with some influencers buying more expensive designer items and claiming it as an “investment” in the name of environmental sustainability. Not everyone can afford to make the “ethical” choice to buy Yves Saint Laurant rather than H&M. But at the end of the day we are all responsible for our own choices and you shouldn’t be held accountable for that.
The reality is though that brands gift items to "influencers" precisely because they want the audience to purchase them and they want to increase the visibility of their brand and reach a larger audience of consumers. The relationship that content creators have with their audience and the trust built makes them even better advertisement/marketing options than magazine ads because they have more direct access to the people they want buying their products. I think as much as everyone is an adult there is something to be said about what responsibility (if any) someone has in that position of being a sort of middle man between a brand and the customer and I guess the sticky part of part of the job being promoting buying and purchasing more things. We are all of course responsible for our own choices but when part of your job is influencing and promoting something to other people then that's where it gets tricky. It's not an easy answer or anything and I enjoy Lizzy's content and the way that it has been addressed and continues to be part of the convo in videos, I just don't find the idea that everyone is an adult so we shouldn't challenge or question anything very helpful.
Haha i loved when you said "i have to put you down" re:the camera, but really that was us, the viewers :) Also, it's already the 8th when i'm commenting this, so happy birthday!!! you are such an inspiration and i gotta say, you made me discover so many artists throughout all the videos since i started following you so thanks! hugs!
I think we really need to encourage and support anyone trying to make a difference cause every little thing count. It doesn't matter that you are not completely committed all the time, cause if everyone was committed to sustainability even 10% of the time, it would make a big difference. We need to support everyone and make it a safe space for everyone to grow on their journey. So proud of you for the efforts you are making already !
Love your content and your style! Your job may require you buy/get more clothing than normal people but by sharing your experience and thoughts with them, you help us consumers make more informed decisions on our own purchases. I think the ends justify the means. Plus if you gift the extra stuff to your family, friends, and even followers, the items still serve their purposes and are not wasted. Many jobs pose an ethical dilemma, like researchers using animals to test new drugs for devastating diseases, or tech industry impinging privacy. We are all struggling, exploring and learning and at the end of the day, trying to do our jobs well. 👊✊👏
I went to the fireworks at Victoria Park when I studied abroad in London! (I'm from California) It was so much fun. It's still one of my favorite memories of my time there.
The Peacoat will serve you well for years and years and looks very much your style. I'm on the hunt for a new one because my old one finally gave out after many years. I really want a gray one with a high wool content....maybe JCrew. A puffer is also good to have in your wardrobe but I've seen many stylish ones at much lower prices. Might even be a good testing basics.
Just search for heel pads on Ebay (they look like padded stickers) 👍🏻 They are less tha £1 a pair! I use them in all of my shoes, because my heels are SO sensitive 😊
Hey lizzy! I love you book segments of the vlogs and also you blogposts about the books you have been reading. Your taste in books is so lovely and as an english literature student, I find it really intriguing to see what others read. I was wondering if you had a goodreads account or would consider making one? I would be a great place for you to keep track of the books you read and also really helpful because I could find books that you like/recommend ?? Much love x
It is quite common for ring shanks to wear out if you wear them all the time. It’s worth keeping an eye as gold is a relatively soft metal and it gets thin with wear.
DavinaKom gold is used in jewellery for its softness and malleability specifically, which comes from its weak atomic bonds. Think about how you can bend a piece of gold with your hands if it’s reasonably thin. Which is why they wear through unfortunately , as Elizabeth said.
The higher the carat the softer the gold and the more easily it wears. That’s why wedding rings are 9k only because they are worn constantly and with other rings. High carat gold is very yellow; look at Indian jewellery, very elaborate, very yellow, very high carat, very soft. Not really intended for day to day wear.
@@Nancy-zi3gk you can find me on Instagram if you want. I m a goldsmith. I make my own 18 carat gold alloy, my wedding band is 1.5 mm thick and if you can bend that with your own hands I m impressed 😉 but true the higher the carat the softer the metal but not that soft....
@@Nancy-zi3gk silver is much softer than gold this is why I referred to gold plated jewelry which is usually silver with a thin layer of gold. Or her ring was made out of copper which is even more malleable but I doubt the latter very much 😅
I love your earrings, in particular your right ear (I guess it’s the right one, don’t know if the camera flips sides.. let’s say the side opposite to the one on which you wear the watch 😬). Can you link them? Thanks a lot!
I was really into the Isabel Marant boreal coat you showed but the pictures of it on Isabel Marant's own website completely put me off it. It really shows how key styling is.
The acnéstudios coat yes! Thats you: chill, wearable, timeless but cool. The low coat nope and the Isabel Marant one to puffy. Just my opinion And about sustainable: maybe its a good idea to show a trowback from pieces you still wear (that you allready got for atleast 2 seasons)? So we can see that 1 you really still wear those and 2 its good for the brand that those expensive clothes are lasting. Happy birthday Lizzy 💥✌🏻💖
It is so important that you adress how some comments make you feel, because it is easy to critise people who are brave and try to make a change. Stay strong, your doing ist Great! Slow steps are better than no steps!
The acne one!! So pretty and Acne is actually a rather good brand in terms of fair wages and at least thinking and being transparent about sustainability. (I found it on the Swedish page but guessing it’s on their English one as well) You should check out the brand Hope Sthlm also Swedish and really nice.
In regards to sustainability, maybe just try to only buy from / collaborate with sustainable brands from now on? That way you can still acquire new things to do your job but in a more sustainable way that in turn promotes more sustainability?
Mareeen14 The problem here is not so much buying sustainable. Having 15 « sustainable » knitwear in your wardrobe wont make it better for the environment. It’s the consumerism that is the problem and the constant buying cycle.
Vanessa Verron I am aware of that. But that’s not exactly a realistic option for someone whose job relies on the purchasing of new clothes. She has to buy new clothes to make her content and then it’s at least a little better if she consums sustainable brands. Telling her not to buy any clothes at all is neither constructive nor realistic.
Mareeen14 I am not telling her anything. Plenty of fashion influencers have changed their content to be less about consumerism and more about educating people about loving what they already own. For example how to care for your knitwear. How to make the best of what you already have. Influencers are always adapting to the change in social trends, we are already seeing less and less haul videos. And saying “she has to buy new clothes for her content” is making my point, an influencer buying clothes to tell viewers about, is somehow pushing to consumerism, to wanting another pair of jeans when you already have 10.
Have a look at Everlane for a puffer jacket. They've got some great recycled down coats now. Re sustainability - I don't think there's one right way moving forward. Just trying your best - which I think you do, is great.
Firstly I hope you're ok Lizzy, I can sense that you've been anxious in recent weeks. I just wanted to touch on this conversation around purchasing new items of clothing etc. Thinking really hard about what "gaps" there are in your wardrobe all in the name of a sponsorship/collaboration is really counterproductive; especially where sustainability is considered. I'm curious to see your blog post but I have to be honest in saying that some of the collaborations you do appear to be self serving rather than inspiring. That's not a problem because we all like nice things but there are inconsistencies with what you say and do; at least on camera and perhaps that's what people are commenting on.
Love your content, have for years and am looking forward to reading your thoughts on sustainability re:fashion. I think this next thought might be a tough one to swallow and one many will take issue with. It’s not your responsibility to advocate for sustainability. Your content is successful because it’s about fashion. Here’s the next kicker: fashion is one of the most polluting and wasteful industries on the planet. Trying to be “sustainable” whatever that means in this context feels a little pandering. If as an individual you’re concerned about the industry’s practices you can shop less and use things longer but it might mean a career change and have an infinitesimally small impact. Or stop trying to appease the internet?
100% agree. I also wanna add that usually it's women policing other women on this sort of stuff. You rarely see a male content creator get bashed on for not being "sustainable" or vegan or something. This sort of constant criticism women make to other women and not men is what is hypocritical and a double standard.
I really have to tell you how much I enjoy your channel. I love your style, it is easy and comfortable, but with a creative twist..that I personally enjoy. I also love seeing all of the beautiful clothes that come into your collection, I have purchased many items because of your recommendations. I hope that you will share with us which jacket you end up getting from Farfetch. I love the Acne brand so much, but I also am torn, since the Isabel Marant jacket is also amazing. I think that Isabel Marant may run large, so I am curious about the fit. Would you also do a review of your Bottega bag, I would love to know what your opinion is of the bag since you have had it for a while now. Last request, for today at least..I have a retail store in the states and it is no surprise that the brick and mortar shops are struggling because of many factors, but mainly because of the surge of online shopping and of course Amazon. So many people use the retail shops as a showroom, to have the access to "try on" and then purchase online. I realize in the case of these jackets that you are being gifted by Farfetch a jacket and believe me I would also jump on that opportunity , but I would love to hear the influencers, you tubers ....to stress shopping at local boutiques. It is going to be a thing of the past, shopping local. Thanks so much for all of your work and continued gift to us of your great style inspiration. I hope that your birthday was amazing!
If people are so offended by anything they see on you tube it’s a pretty simple to fix. Rather than lecturing us all with your long pious comments .. move on .. you don’t have to watch it.
Happy birthday! ❣️ Big hugs from Florida! May I make a suggestion on the fashion anxiety. You are fortunate to receive expensive clothes which makes things harder;however, if you operate under the one in one out rule that might make the act of receiving feel less of a burden. If You have friends or family who share similar tastes and are the same size, sell, Gift, or let friends borrow the clothes. In essence creating a swapping ritual with them that frees up space for you in your closet and mind. Hope you Find the best solution that works for you. Question? Did you recover the necklace? Sending positive thoughts to you and your mum! Take care!
Hey ! About sustainability and blogging: my two cents is pretty much that I don’t understand how bloggers and influencers even can be sustainable. If your job and the way you earn money is to advertise clothing to us under the (now very much shattered) illusion of authenticity - that you need these clothes and love these clothes and would have always purchased these clothes - you will be constantly selling and getting rid of clothes and not wearing things for as long as most people would? Influencers make money essentially out of elaborate product placement. I think we all know by now you’re social media presence is just constant advertisement, whether gifted or not. How do you mesh sustainability and consumerism when consumerism isn’t sustainable? I’m genuinely sorry for the anxiety this is giving you, and of course it’s admirable that you’re trying your best to be ethical and conscious, I absolutely do not want to discourage that. However, I think a lot of people feel when bloggers try cleanse themselves of the questionable ethics of their profession it’s irritating because it comes across as so performative - a lot of talk and not a lot of actual change. Anyway, sorry if this isn’t helpful or is disheartening. I really hope you find a balance that you’re comfortable with. Hopefully someone else can provide you with an avenue in which you can make a living and not feel morally compromised.
Hi Lizzy: In many cases, people criticize for various reasons, some because there is an element of envy, or perhaps they got hurt by someone that morning and took it out on you. This is all a learning process, unfortunately, it hurts. I know as to when writing on another site, everything was going along fine, comment feedback great, then someone had to make a negative comment. Well, they did get a written comment back, done in such a way, with just a reminder to not take life so hard and lighten up to see the lighter side of things. When they have walked a mile in your shoes, as the saying goes, then they may have understood how and why you said what you did, otherwise, the best place for trashing someone is for them to look directly in a mirror and trash away at themselves and perhaps they may feel better after that. Trashers need to follow this. if you don't have anything good to say then say nothing at all. Liz G your friend and follower.
I applaud you for talking about sustainability even if it isn't the only focus of your channel. ❤ I think all fashion vloggers, bloggers and instagrammers should talk about it and I see very few, who do. Sadly there are a lot with masses of followers who just mindlessly do haul after haul.
Lizzy I would recommend following loveaesthetics on instagram she too is keen on sustainability and wrote a wonderful manifesto which you might like to read x
Don’t get bullied by everyone pushing you on sustainability. Everyone goes through their own journey towards their goals and this is yours. You’re not promoting an unhealthy consumerism that’s not thoughtful but fashion needs to be a bit of fun too. It’s so stressful to read those comments as a viewer, can’t imagine how you feel.
It’s literally your fucking job to create style content ant to present us the things you’re wearing.People who are judging you probably just do this for a living and think they’re interesting and somehow superior because they just say you should be more sustainable
I kind of find it weird that people pay enough attention to miss his presence in her vlogs when I don’t feel like he was even in that many of them, but not enough attention to notice that clearly they’re not together anymore .. and I can only assume the constant comments of this kind must be draining 🤷♀️
@@sarahbrowne2532 Tbh it would be better to just address it, you can't introduce people in to your videos and not expect viewers to be curious - i mean i only found out they had broken up via guru gossip so 🤷🏾♀️

I feel the exact same!!
I reaally like the beginning of the vlog, just the chilled out vibe with the shots of London. Makes me want to go back again

So excited for the Podcast's come back!!! xxx
Thank you!
I’m really happy that you’re sharing your reads with us more!
Hi Lizzy would you be able to tell me what the architectural book is calls please?? Looked amazing!! Thankyou x
Ok the more I see that wallpaper on the fireplace in the background, the more I kinda love it! Love all your videos lizzy!! such beautiful content! ✨
Haha i loved when you said "i have to put you down" re:the camera, but really that was us, the viewers :)
Also, it's already the 8th when i'm commenting this, so happy birthday!!! you are such an inspiration and i gotta say, you made me discover so many artists throughout all the videos since i started following you so thanks!
The message behind the lyrics of this song!!!
Dear Lizzy, your vlogs and videos are my favorite, I adore your vibe. Wish you all the best
lizzy! you should do a book haul, i've been reading every book you recommend. you're the reason i started reading again :,)
Very random comment but I loved the jug you used to fill your Vase with water! your home is beautiful and I hope it brings you all the happiness
I went to the fireworks at Victoria Park when I studied abroad in London! (I'm from California) It was so much fun. It's still one of my favorite memories of my time there.
This one was so visually creative, inspiring
What's the name of the architecture magazine for the coffee table? I'm glad you're settling into your new home, the sunflowers look lovely.
Much love x
Hello, I hope you are wearing the watch that you pops gave you! I know you mentioned you forgot it in the airport. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I think this home suits you so well xxxx
Lizzie. I enjoy watching your channel, most it the stuff I can relate to. Continue to keep it real x
It is quite common for ring shanks to wear out if you wear them all the time. It’s worth keeping an eye as gold is a relatively soft metal and it gets thin with wear.
Gold is hard....you re talking about gold plated jewelry maybe...
@@Nancy-zi3gk silver is much softer than gold this is why I referred to gold plated jewelry which is usually silver
with a thin layer of gold. Or her ring was made out of copper which is even more malleable but I doubt the latter very much 😅
I'm a fan of Siri Hustvedt's earlier work. Check out 'The Blindfold'. She is married to Paul Auster, another interesting writer.
Just my opinion
And about sustainable: maybe its a good idea to show a trowback from pieces you still wear (that you allready got for atleast 2 seasons)? So we can see that 1 you really still wear those and 2 its good for the brand that those expensive clothes are lasting.
Happy birthday Lizzy 💥✌🏻💖
Ugh that first Ache coat looks so good! A classic with anything x
Where is the necklace from you’re wearing in the beginning? I love it.
Could you link the photography book or let me know the name? 😇 Thankyou! Also happy birthday!
Hey Lizzy! love your vlogs so much!!
Just wanted to ask why have you decided to move from West to East London? Just really curious :)
i am in love with the song you used at the beginning of the video! the lyrics are so wow
Completely agree on the "self-serving" aspect!
If I may ask, what happened to Ben? Was this discussed in a vlog?
I was wandering the same...
Same here, I was wondering about the boyfriend, also I saw Lizzy wit a ring on the left 💍
Ben hasn’t liked any of her instagram posts for about 2 months now 🤷🏼♀️
Isn't it obvious enough?
Hi lizzie where was you cream jumper with the great collar detail from?
You can’t go wrong with a classic pea coat.
Happy birthday Lizzy!! 🥳
Happy Birthday Lizzy! My fellow Scorpio Woman!
If people are so offended by anything they see on you tube it’s a pretty simple to fix. Rather than lecturing us all with your long pious comments .. move on .. you don’t have to watch it.
Love love love Connor - shame we didn't get more Connor time.
How can we not remember Conor?! What a lad, thumbs up for real good pals
you should go for the acne one, u seem like you've already made the decision :)
Take care!
£900 for a coat!!!! jesus, that's two months worth of rent
Hopefully someone else can provide you with an avenue in which you can make a living and not feel morally compromised.
loveeeeeeeee your style so much! want to buy all the clothes you own or recommended hahahhahah
happy birthday Lizzy!
What’s the architecture book called please?
Not that you should not buy it!! It shook me for a minute.that I never in my life can buy such a beautiful coat)
What about your Raey military style coat from testing basics? I love that on you xx
But yes I think the Acne coat x
where is your mug from?
Isabelle Marant coat!!
Try to soften the leather of your shoes with a blow dryer, maybe if it’s softer it won’t hurt as much when rubbing? 🤷🏼♀️
Sorry if that sounded dirty 🙈😂
i'll try this myself! :o thank you
I applaud you for talking about sustainability even if it isn't the only focus of your channel. ❤ I think all fashion vloggers, bloggers and instagrammers should talk about it and I see very few, who do. Sadly there are a lot with masses of followers who just mindlessly do haul after haul.
ooooh, great intro song!
I understand you want to multitask, but i cannot hear you properly when you are smashing the plates around
Love your channel. Just wondering where Ben is. You haven’t mentioned him in a while
Future Island 😍
FFS the jacket is my month income
It would be good to know if you would actually consider spending £1000 on a coat if it wasn’t gifted 😅😅
What I Loved, by Siri Hustvedt, is a great novel - and thought-provoking
yesssssss 💗
Lizzy I would recommend following loveaesthetics on instagram she too is keen on sustainability and wrote a wonderful manifesto which you might like to read x
we should always care about environmental sustainability and ethical fashion
Don’t get bullied by everyone pushing you on sustainability. Everyone goes through their own journey towards their goals and this is yours. You’re not promoting an unhealthy consumerism that’s not thoughtful but fashion needs to be a bit of fun too. It’s so stressful to read those comments as a viewer, can’t imagine how you feel.
🥰💕
So much plastic with these flowers, though they were from the flower market 🙈
I really wonder how much youtubers really earn. 900-1000£ for a coat - that's not normal :D i guess you earn a lot of money so can afford that.
Why do you film when youre emptying the dishwasher? Its not very pleasant to have to listen to all the banging.
It’s literally your fucking job to create style content ant to present us the things you’re wearing.People who are judging you probably just do this for a living and think they’re interesting and somehow superior because they just say you should be more sustainable
Love the acne
When can we see Ben and you in a video/ on your travels? Miss his music interludes at the end of your travel vlogs with him 😊
dont think they're together anymore.
I kind of find it weird that people pay enough attention to miss his presence in her vlogs when I don’t feel like he was even in that many of them, but not enough attention to notice that clearly they’re not together anymore .. and I can only assume the constant comments of this kind must be draining 🤷♀️
Sarah Browne I agree.. so ignorant ,rude and invasive
@@sarahbrowne2532 agreed, it's fairly obvious..
@@sarahbrowne2532 Tbh it would be better to just address it, you can't introduce people in to your videos and not expect viewers to be curious - i mean i only found out they had broken up via guru gossip so 🤷🏾♀️
Sorry to say this but could you please choose music more appealing? rap isn't. I had to mute the video.
