I love area zero in miraidon, but mewtwo makes your match up into control and stall worse, you can't attack with mewtwo and it has a awkward retreat cost of 2

One thing that surprises me. HydrappleEX is spectacular in my playing. Yes, there are some matchups that are meh. But I'm consistently getting close to 300 damage turn 2 going first. And it's just so smooth and simple to play. And yeah, I don't see many playing it.

Bro you're basically playing a beat stick deck.
Its not better than bolt , and the deck would not see competitive play because its BRAIN GOES DURRRR because the other beat stick decks are better

I’ll be playing hydrapple competitively as honestly as much people are saying it’s a “beat stick deck”. it honestly does pretty well and it honestly is something finally fun after this format has been so stale recently with just the same decks recycling into meta or just never leaving (except maybe like the three decks that are new but they don’t last long). So honestly play it if you’re having fun with it

I think the most interesting takeaway is that the top 10 of this list only has 1 repeating deck being pult. That’s really nice to see. There’s a lot of options to play.

I made a Hydrapple ex deck that's a lot like Ftw's but I put in two of the new Tapu bulu. For 4 energy (especially with Hydrapple) you do 220 and bypass cornerstone and Mimikyu and aegislash.

I’ve been playing the terapagos dusknoir deck with some small changes from the list you showed and it’s truly a gross deck when it sets up. If you go first, get a hoot hoot or two, + a Duskull you can completely lock evolution decks by wiping charmanders and Dreepy turn two.

I’m curious if an area zero version of gouging fire could be good to make entei stronger and allow for more moltres or whatever, maybe even try the old entei/iron valiant focused deck ? Obvi we need a terra Pokémon heartyflame seems fine
