@@Zadxyz1 so did i
I love It so mach

0:09 it is:
when i first saw the film at the cinema, i just LOVED how he was like: "Im dancing now, there's no going back"🤣🤣🤣
is the film good
everybody sing this song and i know the dance know i am going to watch the movie soon
its my favourite movie and some part are quite funny, you should DEFINATLY go and watch it@@DestinyDekker
Yes it’s WONDERFUL same i watched it
I watched the movie too and it...was...MAJESTIC AND AMAZING
me too, same! that's my reason to watch it, lol
I just love it how they took the ompa lommpa from the 1971 movie
What else were they supposed to do put a gnome in the movie?
@@Galaxxymeeps they could take the ompa lommpa from 2005 but I’m happy abbaut the 1971 version
Filo filo mena mena Filomena Scamardella dubadidu
@@Galaxxymeepshave you seen the 2005 movie?
The whole movie is 1971 Wonka’s origin story
the fact that oompa loompa saved Wonka's life😭❤️☠️
Twice! Once on the ship, then from the chocolate vault.
"THANK YOU LITTLE ORANGE MAN! THANK YOU!"
The way the Oompa Loompa kinda gave Noodle a wincing smile, waved hesitantly and then just turned and walked away made me laugh. 🤣
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Hugh Grant leaning into the campy flamboyance of Paddington and Wonka is the best thing to happen to cinema in decades.
Jdjd
Love it how the Oompa Loompa changed from literally african slaves to british aristocrats.
Who wouldn't😂
Exactly btw IM BRITISH!! ❤🇬🇧❤ lol 😂😂😂
They changed the Oompa Loompas from african slaves wayyy back in the 1970s
It look exactly like the Version from 1971.... so... it's very acurate
Bruh I’m black
"Once we start dancing we cant stop"
-wise words from a wise man
I don't why your comment made me laugh so hard, but it did! 🤣
_"It's a lovely day to go down the road and if I ever stop dancing I will explode~!"_
“I’ll poke you with a cocktail stick” is my favourite
That line made me chuckle too. He stole every scene he was in.
Hugh Grant stole the show! Why he hasn’t been nominated for anything (as yet) is a mystery!
Too bad he hated playing the role.
But the payment was good enough so he said it wasn’t that bad.
@@GJ-DJ2004 bruh where's your source?
@@MrRexPlayz his interview, I don’t remember if it was a podcast or not.
@@GJ-DJ2004 He joked, he is English the man has intelligent humor.
I love how they successfully took the spitting image of the original Oompa Loompas and put it in this masterpiece
I prefer more this version of the oompa loompas, their more unique not just short people.
Same!
It's the best of both versions to me. The otherworldly bizarre designed combined with the book accurate size difference with its own unique twist by having the Oompa Loompas being fully articulate people with their own fully functional society.
Once they started dancing they cant stop and now i cant stop listening to this
damn this movie is just so beautiful i haven't went to the cinema in a while and watching this movie was just the best choice. when he said "too late im dancing now there's no going back after that" i was dead laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man his bass voice is so good in the Beginning with that song😮😮
thats autotone for you.
@@geknipt_ tbh there's something strangely nice about that characteristic "autotune sound". Kinda similar to how people like how vocaloids sound.
Hugh Grant is actually the best part of this film. A shame they didn’t have more of him in it
Whoever chose Hugh Grant to play the Oompa Loompa is a genius. I couldn’t of picked a better person😂
*Darth Vader:* _"How is Padmé? Is she alright?_
*Emperor Palpatine:* 0:08
😂😂😂
🤷♂️lol”i’ve got a tragic tale 4 u
Lol
👏🤣
And to think people thought Grant wouldn’t make a good Oompa Loompa
Yeah I'm surprised I didn't think he would be good as an umpa lump but I'm happy that it's like the original film
He doesn't. It's a complete rip-off of the original movie. At least Tim Burton's movie had some character.
@@christianmcbrearty you must be a joy to hang around with
@@christianmcbrearty sir this movie is literally a prequel
@@air.8682 yeah doesn't matter. They waited until Gene Wilder was dead to make it because they knew it would disappoint him. He hated Hollywood bullsh*t.
I'm looking forward to seeing this movie. It looks like a whole lot of fun!
This movie needed more oompa loompa
That’s where Wonka 2 comes in
I'm gonna be honest, I wish this movie had more oompa loompa in it. As-is it really feels like it's only the first half of the story.
Now that the film has done so well, I'm looking forward to the sequel. I think it should feature more Oompa Loompas and how they would all come to work for Wonka - unless they completely change that part.
Isn't that the point?
Isn’t the movie- about his backstory?
This movie is a prequel
Well we’re going another sequel to Wonka aka the prequel
Love this! :D
I know he was not a fan of this role but I love him
I loved Hugh Grant as the Oompa Loompa, but I get why he didn't enjoy playing the role at all. I mean, can you imagine wearing a motion capture suit while wearing makeup!? Like, after five minutes it would be so annoying! Imagine having to do it for hours and hours!
i like how the song incorporates lore from the 1971 film and the books
I grew up with his early 2000 rom cons and films. Although it has been a long time since then ; I can’t express how delightful it is to see Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa. !!
When I saw this song in the cinemas I started dancing 🤣🤣🤣
I love it!!❤
This really is all I can say about this video.
Love it and great job
My favorite part 😂😂😂, the theater actually laughed hard 😅
“Or I shall poke you quite viciously with a cocktail stick” favorite part.
I’ve always had this theory that Willy Wonka was just George Weasley because he can make his chocolate do a lot of magical things and he’s deaf in one ear and George got his ear cut off and that he could’ve used a time turner to go back in time after Fred Weasleys death
Love that, what an interesting theory :)
Wonka being a Wizard who is barely skirting by the laws against exposing Magic by being an isolationist is a long-standing theory right alongside Mary Poppins being one as well. Honestly I kinda like the theory.
it’s so good
I love it!
My daughter was dancing 😂 and it was amazing 😂
I love this prequel!!!
Hugh Grant makes such a GREAT Oompa-Loompa!!!
when my whole school went to the movies and the grade 7 - 8 watched this movie, the whole theatre was clapping.
I love itttt❤❤❤❤
The best video of the year!!!!
Hearing the old Oompa Loompa tune was such a thrill!
I love this lol 😂
This is so good
🎶"Here Loompa land is both lucious and green." 🎵
Quite a contrast to how Willy Wonka described it in the 1971 version. "Nothing but desolate wastes, and fierce beasts."
You'll drive yourself bonkers trying to untangle all the continuity inconsistancies between this and the 1971 film. Just...don't bother trying and enjoy the movies as their own things.
That was Wonka's lie to mislead his competition from tapping into his free labor pool.
Everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
@@TylerCharlesFisherWouldn’t that be the most batshit crossover.😅
Maybe the beasts had not turn up yet.
Amazing scenes with Hugh Grant!!!😂❤
i love it
I will never be able to unsee this. 😂I've always been a Hugh Grant fan. In the past, when I heard his name, I saw him when the elevator opens on Bridget Jones's Diary: "What you want, baby I got it." Oh YEAH he did. I heard his name mentioned the other day, and the Ooompa Loompa was all I could think of. But I think I will see this move if only for Hugh Grant. Just the way he looks is hilarious. It appears that he plays it so straight and serious that I'm sure the performance is a riot.
I’m in love with this song
Love it
I love how he says hankerchiff like as in the way he says it 😂
"to late i've started dancing now" *1 sec later* OoMpa loOpMPa dO bA Dee DoO🤣🤣🤣

Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa was honestly GENIUS casting
