Nice looking car too bad the Genesis G90 cost cheaper fully loaded and sales half what the CT6 does in a month and is not getting killed. Genesis now has a 3 car lineup and better priced luxury cars for less then Cadillac what a shame.
johnls39 Well according to the CEO Marry Barra GM will have 20 Electric vehicles by 2023. The Cadillac ATS 4 door sedan has been canceled for 2019. Only 2019 for the two door model. You can look on the website. The CT4 and CT5 will be on the Alpha frame 2. I’ve seen GM catalog over a year a ago. The only thing I do not know is how much horsepower these two cars will have.
Here is the thing, back in 2016 when i was shopping for an SUV, the only cadillac that i could buy was the SRX since there were no other SUVs in Caddy lineup (unless you are going for an Escalade). Now i am told there is an XT6 coming online in 2020. Honestly, I think Cadillac is too late to the game. The Escalade is going to have serious competition from BMW X7, and Lincoln, the XT6 is coming into a crowded market with Q7, X5, and Acuras leading the market share. What the hell was the point of XT4? The only bright spot they have is the Escalade and they are about to lose that crown as well due to Lincoln and BMW. They need to revamp the Escalade quick. I do hope the keep the CTS brand around; that car is awesome!

The Escalade, according to sources, for the next generation is going to be world class with a jazzy interior with unique technology with more luxury. Also, it will be, according to one of the auto critics from Auto Extremist, will be shockingly good. I'm just hoping that they are right. GM should not screw this one up. I think the Escalade is an excellent vehicle for what it is but GM did not go far enough with the execution with small detail to luxury and features. Also, from that particular source, the critic stated that the next generation Escalade will make the current Navigator yesterday's news. Makes me wonder now though. Did you see the '20 Aviator? That car, IMO, is making the current Navigator an after-thought. So will the Escalade be better than the two combined luxuriously and technically? IMO, the Escalade will be the most important Cadillac and will show the very best GM can do.
