They call him Tesouro because of a Mexican series that was very popular in Brazil, in it there is a character called Kiko and his mother called him TESORO and in Portuguese it translates to TESOURO
Although it's sad losing an original member to certain circumstances. I think that this version of Magadeth is the one for keeps. Long live Megadeth.
Definitely a great lineup. Everyone is tight, and Dirk is a badass drummer. Can’t believe Dave let the Drover dude stay for so long when he was worse than Lars.

No disrespect intended, love Dave E....always be one of my top favorite bass players, but in all honesty ( I'm old) I've seen James more times than Dave E play with Megadeth over the years. God bless em both🖤🦋🤟💯
I was devastated when Miho left LOVEBITES. Thankfully, they are holding auditions for a new bass player, and they will keep the band going.
Nick Menza was a phenomenal drummer and Marty Friedman phenomenal guitarist. Most would say that line-up was Megadeth at their best. Dirk was my favorite drummer when he played with Soilwork and Kiko's "Open Source" is the best album I've heard in the last few years. Dave Mustaine got the best. This is my favorite line-up.

Dave says "Alright, thanks guys" at the end of the dressing room jam. No one can ever say Dave isn't the consumate professional. You can see the respect he has for his bandmates.

I don't even care how ridiculously good Kiko is. He'll always be even more awesome just by being the super nice guy that he is! And i'm happy for Dave that he got this amazing band (i'm not merely calling it line up).

Dread and the Fugitive Mind is one of the greatest Megadeth songs ever. It's amazing. All practice amps and electronic drums and it's still a monster sound.

I've been a fan of megadeth since i was 8 y.o, i can say now that the best thing have ever happened to the band is you Kiko being the lead guitarist, such a rich flavourful touch you added with ur playing, cant wait for the next album

Must feel great getting back out on the road playing some shows again. Everyone sounds recharged and reinvigorated, Dave’s voice is sounding good too. The fans are surely ready for some quality live bands and Megadeth is top tier.

Kiko. Everyone has their favourite lead players from Megadeth but I think you are the undeniably the best at playing the leads written by all the guys that came before you. You manage to catch the different vibes and styles of all those different gutarists so well. Even for former members who's playing I loved, I sometimes used to hurt hearing them butchering solos from the guys that came before them.
One of the most underrated Megadeth songs imo.

I absolutely loved Megadeth when I was a kid in the 90’s… Kiko has completely reinvigorated my love for Megadeth! So much awesome!!!

I went to the show in Connecticut, great set, Kiko kicked ass, it was Friday the 13th, I wish they had played Black Friday, Dave’s voice sounded great on everything, especially the Conjuring, salute!!!!
That solo in Dread and the fugitive mind is one of the greatest , well arranged and a best Megadeth guitar solo. The whole song is a masterpiece too. Megadeth guitar players are so great in writing such beautiful story telling guitar solos. Al Pitreli was a great guitar player had that little Marty Friedman style of bend and vibrato in his playing too. When Kiko plays this solo in his way , the attitude and personality he has on stage looks so inspiring man. He plays everything so effortlessly truly a master and a monster of the guitar.
Though this solo is definitely one of Megadeths best. My opinion is that Tornado of Souls solo is their very best solo
Al never gets love from the Megadeth fans but he was and still is a monster player! Just watch Rude awakening and you'll see it.
@@StewMain6 i noticed this solo is strucutred almost exactly the same as tornado of souls, you could swap them and they would fit in either song with only a couple tweaks
I hope kiko keept it more like the original solo, but it's better than the first time i heard him playing it.

My very first concert was Megadeth when I was 12 years old, now I'm turning 44 and I still absolutely love Megadeth. I'm looking forward to listening to the new album, I've got the feeling I'm gonna be blown away. Thanks for all music and memories throughout a big portion of my life, long live deth

We were there! Came from Virginia. Was great to hear Dread again. Wish you all did Angry Again, but that came later in the tour. Going to see you all in Northern VA later this summer. Got to play more songs. All we got was 10 songs. Let's get some rippers in there like This day we fight and Lying in state.
