LoL!! I feel I´m a Glen´s student without going to any Glen´s Lessons!
I will put here some quotes from recorded sessions that I watched a million times:
      "Your Job is not likeness,
your job is to make the most dynamite interpretation of the architecture possible - the best design possible."
But - it´s not just that!
He also said that He was stupid when he was a kid copying Loomis finished heads - cause when he looked at the finished - the construction was not there!
And he talked about the construction methods and the importance to study them.
And if are curious to see if I got something about him:

Its bit weird to compare him to an animator or character artist, so much different thing , you wouldn’t compare a metal electric guitarist to a jazz one , same principles but very different jobs and genres

It’s important to make these distinctions for beginners even if it seems obvious to more experienced artists. The point of the animation comment is how one set of techniques is not “better” than another, that they each have strengths and weaknesses. Black or white thinking is common with beginners and they are often looking for “the best” drawing methods whereas in reality there are different tools for different jobs. The purpose of this whole segment is to show the strengths and weaknesses of optical approaches. Sargent was chosen to steel man the case for optical art, since he is a hero of that camp and almost universally admired. This was chosen as opposed to targeting a lesser example which would give the optical approaches an unfair disadvantage. One weakness is that optical drawing doesn’t translate well to more imaginative forms of drawing and sketching like animation. It’s obvious that Sargent didn’t work on Pinocchio as a lead animator-its a hypothetical designed to make that point. I appreciate the feedback, nonetheless. -J

Thank you for the video it was super helpful.
I would appreciate it if you could give out a video on how it is important to know both the graphic shape approach and the designing process and what their strengths and weaknesses are.
As someone who is really interested in designing characters I was shocked to find out what I’m doing with this kind of shading can be detrimental to my dreams. Does NMA have a course that explains this in more detail?
