Do you have a premium course to do with character/human drawing? Anatomy and all that
@@Scarf215 Yep! www.proko.com/anatomy
There are a couple others from other instructors like Steven Michael Hampton as well.
We're finally here. Intuitive perspective, and as always Proko delivers peak quality
Aw, shucks! Thanks!
@@ProkoTV Your courses took me from a noob to around intermediate level in a matter of a few months. You're doing great work! It's always fun to watch
This is like when SpongeBob starts with a perfect head rendering and then erases everything to get a perfect circle
I was just drawing some cubes to warm up when i saw this video pop ha ha thanks proko!
i guess you solved the problem beginners have, which is how to apply what they have learned , how they use basic shapes in perspective to draw a head or a body .. Thank you ,i hope its going to be an eye opening to those who wanna draw correctly and also enjoy
Thank you for your awesome tips!👍
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST HOW MUCH DID YOU DONATE
he deserves it
Thanks!
I saw on google how much it was and it is 1USD. I thought it was thousands. 💀💀💀
@@thatperson1679Bruh 💀
@thatperson1679 are these Colombian pesos? It says here it's around 10 USD
Proko has taught me a lot
This was the exact right lesson I needed and didn't even realize.
This video came at the perfect time
Absolutely 💯 man
I love drawing cubes, thank you Scott Robertson
Wow 😮❤🎉you're not gonna believe this I was drawing a box before tuning.
Thanks a bunch.
I SWEAR LAST NIGHT I WAS LIKE "MAN I WISH HE MADE A VIDEO ABOUT BOXES"
Bro I feel my boxes have gotten ten times better with this! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your videos, they really help!
Would have been great to lay a line art drawing over it to show what the finished character could look like to drive the idea home visually
As Kim jung gi said in a video: "I wish you could see the lines I see" (something like that) - R.I.P. Gi
Wonderful thank you ❤
Just what I needed thanks proko
Glad it helps!
Thanks
Sir,. Your channel and your Videos, help me a lot,I love to draw since grade school,I want to learn more but I can't afford to go school to study arts,.I am a self taught artist and came from third world country. Thank you Soo much for all your Videos.
love you
love your videos and this is awesome to use for practice. But i do have one question. lets say i do all these steps and create a good looking "box man or woman" how do i add all the details over the already exisiting lines without leaving alot of erasing marks. Or do i "trace" over the boxs and shapes with a diffrent papper? cus thats gonna be tricky with just pen and paper and i have no lighting table to help me with that.
That'll come down to your purpose for the drawing. For a lot of drawing practice when you're starting, the purpose is to make these boxes and nothing more. Or even just draw over them without making a drawing that doesn't have these construction lines.
If you do want to make finished pieces from these exercises, you can draw lightly with tools that are easier to erase and then build on top of that. Or trace as you mentioned! But if you are going to erase, watch out for colored pencils. They have a wax in them that makes them harder to erase.
He is acting like he don't know how to draw..but he knows..Great.. 👏
9:09 sounds like *The Sculptor approach to drawing cubes*
This exercise reminds me of a similar one from Bridgman.
among TOP 10
Alight another tutorial on how to be kim jung gi. Ill be making sure to rewatch this a lot
My biggest problem, I'm Better now, thanks
Niceee..... 😊Wanna know about the red pencil you used ???
The red wood pencil used here is a Prismacolor Col-Erase and the other is a lead holder with Nicpro red refills.
I think Stan also uses Staedtler 2mm red lead in a lead holder if it’s the same one he mentioned in the drawing basics materials video.
Ta chido 😃👍
Thanks proko, for teaching us a form...I had a doubt....
After a little perspective knowledge...it somehow doesn't feel real...and can be made into anything we want...so how do we get back to basics..? Hope it makes sense....thanks for the content!
Can you expand on that a bit? I'm not sure I do know what you mean fully.
Le he preguntado a una IA cómo estudiar anatomía artística de manera autónoma, y me recomendó este canal, yo ya lo conocía pero eso me sorprendió

Hello, Mr. Prokopenko
wow wow wow
where did u learn sir
Stan studied at the Watts Atelier
Damn I was just thinking about squares and cubes and this pops up
Does the course ended on 30th episode?
This is the 100th lesson and the halfway point through the course.
Way more than 30!
But In the "basic drawing" playlist there is only 30 videos@@ProkoTV
@@IamMosika Not every lesson in the course is released here on UA-cam. More will be added as they come out but it's not every lesson from the full course.
@@ProkoTV I apperciate your work and what you do for us but, your saying its not even half of the course and we HAVE to get premium?
@@IamMosika There are no concepts held back from being released entirely free here on UA-cam.
Each topic is structured with separate videos like this as an example:
How to Draw
How to Draw - Project Assignment
How to Draw Demo - Difficulty Level 1
How to Draw Demo - Difficulty Level 2
How to Draw -Student Submission Critique
That's roughly four/five videos on each subject that's released here on UA-cam. We've still combined and published some of the assignment and critique content as free videos here on UA-cam when it works. But we don't publish student critiques here on UA-cam. People have shown they don't watch them.
All the lessons in the course are visible, whether you've bought the course or not. Feel free to compare and contrast them. People who buy the course get longer lessons and every assignment. But it's the same course with the same materials, all free on UA-cam.
Free users can even submit their drawings on the website for the free UA-cam lessons to have their work critiqued by the Proko team, all for free.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
As someone who is learning to draw I feel like I'm always drawing boxes for one reason or another 😅
Yeah, drawing boxes, tumbling them, using different line weights and more, all builds up skills that we don't know we're learning. They're really common in teaching art for a reason!
Im early 😁
I m not first but under 1000 hehe 😐😤
tbh...I always found boxes to be fun... BUT I get frustrated by making the limbs >:,C
Ahh yes, this is what we call the uncertainty principle

Someone beat you to it, sorry.

Bruh, whats the poin of this, if ai going to swallow us all.
True:(
Just because a computer can make pictures doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't.
AI is a thing that exists and that some people and companies will use. But even if people start using AI as part of their process for creating, they need to have the core art skills to be able to make good work. Look at some of the most outspoken AI art users online. If they don't have a good vision or understanding of art principles, their AI made art results are awful or lack a unique vision.
If you want to create, you will. Nothing replaces a person creating with imagination and a good story to tell. AI is just one part of the process, at best.
What? You just don't believe in yourself. A computer will never make such good art as humans. They're always like a cheaper and Worse version of anything a real person can make. That's because AI can't produce anything from zero to end. They only make not perfect copies of what's already been produced.
why play video games when you’ll never be a pro gamer
why go biking when there are motorcycles
why do boxing when you have no enemies
@@ProkoTV couldn't agree more
Never to advanced to draw a box
