Anakeesta - Mountain Tour, Shops, Rides & Review! Gatlinburg, TN

If you're in the Gatlinburg, TN area for a bit, make sure that Anakeesta is on your list of things to check out. Set upon the crest of a mountain top, Anakeesta provides stunning views of the surrounding Smoky Mountains and the town below. Nelson was invited out by the park to take a grand tour of everything they have to offer and here's his video / review showcasing the ski lift ride up, shops, rides, food locations, and did we mention INCREDIBLE views?!?!

We just got back from a trip to Gatlinburg and visited Anakeesta. My whole family, including a 5 & 6 year old, had a wonderful time.

I just left the Smoky Mountains last week that was my second trip there if it was up to me I would move there but my favorite things to do or the anakeesta and the Ober and all of the Ripley's there's just so much to do in that town non-stop excitement- beautiful scenery - and beautiful cabins to stay in also the hotels are nice as well and you're not so far from Pigeon Forge which is a whole nother town full of excitement just so much to do I love the place I will move there before I'm an old man LOL but great video man thanks for the posting for people that has not seen Gatlinburg the Great Smoky Mountains

Great video. I was there last year but got there too late for the zip line 😞 The restaurant and mountain coaster are new and the landscaping looks amazing now! Also treehouse canopy is my fave 🤗 I like to bounce on it lol

They shouldn't charge extra for the zip lining etc. Stone mountain only charges one fee and u can enjoy the whole park

When I was there, the experience was fantastic, but it started raining, so they closed down the ski lift and I had to wait 40 minutes for a vehicle to drive me down to the bottom.

I didn't have the nerve to try Rail Runner, primarily because my fiance was so frightened riding the chondola up to the summit, but the stores were great, the Vista Garden was gorgeous, and the sunset views were beautiful. We were in Gatlinburg last week, and I hope to return again eventually and see what else Anakeesta adds.

Just watched a documentary on the the HOTEL that was once here that THE FLORIDA GIRLS visited. After the HOTEL was demolished the land became a small amusement park then it became abandoned, now the land well newest attractions is now called ANAKEESTA.
