Lifetime’s customer service is outstanding! They replaced my seat because of fraying after one season. The customer service rep was absolutely outstanding.
Had the same problem with my seat last summer. Called Lifetime's customer service line and they were super helpful and sent me a new seat right away. New frame and everything not just the removeable seat fabric. (I'm sure you've probably done this by now, but thought others might want to know too)
@@jpgfishing8598 Receipt wouldn't hurt but simply the Hull ID number would show that it is within 5 years of manufacture date which is covered under their warranty. Misuse/Abuse/Normal Wear and tear normally isn't covered but its rather hard to prove that, plus seat shouldn't go out that fast which they know. Heard a couple mention the seat doing that so I try and leave those straps a little looser so the weight isn't be directed at that exact spot.
There are two bungee cords on the back of your seat that should be attached to the rod holders. The spot you have them attached to in your video should have should have a strap attached instead. That strap is located on the bottom of the seat. I think if you fixed those two things it will help with your seat problems. I hope that helps. And I really like your speaker idea.
Unfortunately both little plastic pieces that are screwed into the rod holders snapped off, so there is no where to attached the bungee cords, but I will contact Lifetime about the seat issue and the one I just mentioned. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
still use this yak? i picked this one up last november on clearance, and i have loved it. got a little trolling motor mounted on it, and it is a fish killer
@@jpgfishing8598 i actually sold mine and opted for a pond prowler, way more comfortable for an aging person to sit for several hours on, and i can stand
Thanks bro! that was an epic Kayak walkthrough. Just got mine in the Nashville area and let me tell ya what, that bad boy rips water harder than a stoner hitting a GB during his freshman year of college.
No, the screw mount and curved pole thing came in an off brand go pro accessories kit I bought off amazon (kit is linked in description). Thanks for watchin!
I have one and it should be fine. Theyre wide and ive never had a chance of tipping it even standing in it. Also, my wife and son have both been on it in an open choppy bay and were fine. I would trust it no problem. Theyre rated for up to 350lbs
Nice video man. I'm interested in buying this kayak and was wondering is the foot brace pretty comfortable to kayak barefooted👣. I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot very very wide. With my foot being 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my little toe I'm wondering if the foot brace are wide enough for my foot. I also like your Crocs that you are wearing. I used to have a pair that barely fit my foot! I had to cut a section out in the toe box on each Crocs for two of my toes on each foot to hang out of the crocs because of my toes being too fat and wide. It looked very very funny with me wearing them like that and it drew a lot of attention from people and sometimes embarrassing but that was the only way I could get it to fit on my foot. If I did not cut the section out in the toe box it would crush my toes and cause it to hurt a lot. I have had people to tell me hey man you got to toes hanging out of your Crocs you need a new pair. I then had to explain that I had extremely fat wide toes and I had to cut a section out on the Crocs to get them to fit comfortably. It is very very embarrassing to have extremely very very wide feet with very fat wide toes that are equally straight across. I wished my toes were at a 45 degree angle like everybody else toes instead of equally straight across. Maybe my foot wouldn't be so wide. Awesome video man keep up the good work.
@@jpgfishing8598 okay thank you I appreciate that. I just wish I didn't have very very wide feet with very fat wide toe so I don't have to worry about problems like this. My feet cause so much embarrassing for me.
Mine did too, if you look up the customer service info you can contact them and I think they’ll send you another. I have yet to do it but I will at some point
DUDE YOUR MODS ARE FREAKING GREAT I LOVE THAT LID FOR YOUR BUCKET ,I GETTING ONE!

All you need is a top water rod and a cranking rod. I took a drop shot open face also last trip out

I actually haven’t, but I should. Did they need the warranty to be proven or a receipt of purchase or anything?

I just bought one too. So far I love it. I'm from TN. I was wondering did that mount come with the go pro?

My seat had major issues, all strap sewing 🧵 🪡 line ripped half off.
How’s the rebuild going bro
Thx for the vid
Nice bro just bought one
How do you think the weight of the gear for kayak camping would do in the kayak about 60 pounds worth of stuff

Great video bud you sold me . How’s it holding up
Still good as new, except for the seat fraying, but customer service sends more upon request. Tight lines!
Did the skeg wheel come with it? Just got mine and no skeg wheel
Yes mine did. I’d contact their customer service, I bet it wouldn’t be too much of a hassle for them to send you one
So I have The same one and my seat riped is that normal
