    I have the seahawk 2,and have added a wooden floor.Without the floor the power of the engine bends the tubes in the middle.I have the floor in two pieces,one longer than the other so they overlap by about 5cm.This prevents the joint from bending.Also, two pieces fit in my car and are easier transported.Most inflatables lose pressure when the tubes are introduced into cold water,so I take a hand pump with me to top up.

      I bolted a seat in the middle to join the wooden floor together and to avoid from bending and thanks for watching my friend

    Shold be bigger for snuggfer fit and go under the tubed (will be more stable when tubes are inflated). Also using zipties are bad idea, because they are kinda sharp on egdes and may rub the tubes material if too way outside on insulation foam. Using zipties is unnecessary is this applicatuon.

    Hello.i want to say this,be cerfull when you go out to the water.Everybody must know,this thing is dangerous.I build a wooden floor myself for seahwak 4.I went with afreind to alake and while we were far away from shore,at adeep of 20 meters,we fell to the water...this boat with awooden floor is dengerous.please think twice.Nobody talks about that.Sorry for saying this,i was very enthusiastic myself when i built it.

      Thank you for letting me know, yes I was enthusiastic about it too but after a couple of tests on the lakes I could feel it's not safe. That's I stopped using it and just do fishing on the shore and I'm thinking of buying a cheap fishing boat. Anyway thanks for your concern and take care my friend

  • @evan2290

    started off good, but you ruined it in the middle by fastforwarding way too fast. I can't see what you're doing. Why did you break out the cardboard again and do all those measurements etc. when you already had the stencil on the plywood??? it gets really confusing around there. Sad because It was almost helpful. There are so many poeple doing this modification, but NOBODY really does a good job of showing you how to do it. This wasn't really helpful at all. Just you showing off I guess.

    • @cesar8359
      @cesar8359  Рік тому

      Well yes there was a stencil but as I was cutting the plywood, I realized maybe it would be much easier and would be the same cut if I would trace the half cut of the plywood and draw it to the other half of the plywood and cut it. I hope you understand what I mean.
