Thanks for the feedback. I'm not on Cumminsforum, but am on DTR under the same user name. Lately I've been kind of absorbed in RC planes, and not on the ATV and diesel truck forums as much.
I would have honestly laughed my ass off if he would have cracked the manifold by trying to use a center punch on cast steel that had been hot then cold probally 5k times

i would have taken off the manifold to drill into it just to make sure that i didnt get any metal chips down inside
