Comedy trio with the Zygood
Wait. Is that the guy from Get Out? Awesome.
I love Captain Magambo. She's stern and badass but gets all flustered when the other soldier tells her the Doctor is on the phone. It's so cute.
Would have liked to see more of her and Malcom come back.
I love Malcom's reaction!
"I read all the files!"
"Really? Which was your favorite? Giant Robot?"
LOL!
The Giant Robot
I love this scene. For me it's what turned this episode from 'okay' into 'awesome'.
It would have been brilliant if they got Matt Smith to say: "hello pizza Geronimo"
Even though he no longer works with UNIT, anyone else remember the days he used to collaborate with the Brigadier? :') That's the first thing that I thought of when I saw the title of the video. RIP Nicholas Courtney.
He just worked with UNIT and the Brigadier's daughter in the 50th.
And he's still listed as their Chief Scientific Advisor as Kate even said so.
UNIT still has the Time-Space Telegraph Tom Baker's Doctor gave the Brigadier.
@@S.Stiles no he worked with UNIT all through the 70's with the 3rd and 4th doctor and had a few adventures as 2nd
In the comics, the 9th Doctor *also* found himself working with the Brigadier.
While i was watching this i thought to myself that i could fondly remember watching this in front of my CRT on its original air date as a child, such a memorable episode! I googled it and found out it came out 11/04/2009 exactly 10 years ago from today's date! Weird coincidence i guess... Life, blink and you will miss it
The doctor forever had a spine tingling feeling in this scene!!
How have I not seen this episode at all before?
CodeKillerz it's a special
CodeKillerz one of the better specials that has a horrible ending...
Master Chef, I think your thinking waters of mars
@@McDADDyK How is the ending horrible?
My favourite bit from this episode is when after Christina takes the bus that police officer says to the Doctor "And I'm arresting you for aiding and abetting." The Doctor says "Yes I'll just step into this police box and arrest myself."
"Giant Robot?" Love that reference!
Pizza GERONIMO! Ring a bell anyone?....
Hell yea!
a glimpse in the future.........SCARY!!!!
SP Murphy Pizza Geronimo? What's that?
Sofia Kaye Pizza Geronimo...Geronimo...11th Doctor's catchphrase
Yes. It does ring a bell. The bells of st john
I love this episode exclusively because of malcolm. The purest character in doctor who
David Tennant... the BEST Doctor IMHO. Superb acting, and well written stories.
"Yes, I know. We all want to meet him... But we know that that day brings..."
"I can hear EVERYTHING you're saying..."
"I set the scanner to register what it can't detect and inverted the image." I think that's exactly what the Doctor would do.😄
Revers the polarity of the image - The Doctor probably
Possibly one of my favourite new series eps; the reference to "Robot" alone wins it points, but anything with the Doctor and UNIT working together like this could ONLY be improved if they brought back the Brigadier...
Doctor: "You're my new best friend"
Doctor: Never sees Malcom again
God I love Malcolm...
I love that Lee Evan's character is called Malcolm in this because he always says in his stand up "the village idiot, Malcolm" but in this he's a Genius
Amy: Where should we get takeout from Doctor?
11: pizza GERONIMO!!
Amy: ...again?
So many emotions!
“It’s him, ma’am.”
“Boy, don’t be dramatic! That tells me nothing!”
Sarah Johnston would be good at TV sins. Ding. And a ding for the episode playing the pronoun game. Ding.
@@TheWPhilosopher I understood that reference.
Hay why are the captions so weird 3:49 it says your mind too sir **** them hold
One of my favorite scenes in the entire show.
Pizza geronimo -- Capaldi's new catchphrase.
Matt Smith?
@@benjpope6949 How did he know that Capaldi will be a doctor 6 years ago lol
"And... Malcom... You're my new best friend." This is why we lovvvve the Doctor
Did you just salute me
...no
I love that the bus damage wasn’t intentional, it happened while shipping the bus to the desert, but they just rolled with it and “oh the bus got damaged in the wormhole”.
Got to love that initiative on the Production Crew's part! :D
The pizza place is called "Pizza Geronimo." HOW LONG HAS MOFFAT BEEN PLANNING THE 12th DOCTOR?!??
Edit: It’s been three years and only now I see my error. I meant 11th.
not long since this isn't a moffat episode.
You mean 11th
@Isabel Gee WRONG but Right in an old sense. Technically the 12th doctor because we got the war doctor.. the one before eccleston that we dont talk about.
um I though Geronimo was 11th?
@@Castrated__ *Eccleston
the 9th 10th and 11th doctors lived started from 903 to his current ages wich is hard to pin point cus in some episodes he is nearly 1126 and in others he is still just 907
Lol the doctor is just like, "yeah I'm awesome we all know can we move on?" and the people in the bus are like "wth is this guy really that amazing?" Answer - YES!
This was a good episode and this was one of my favorite parts :D
He says he is over 1000 in The Immposible Astronaut as it takes place 200 years in his future, which is now the Doctor's present.
There have also been accounts that the Doctor has forgotten his real age and just started again, or makes his age up,
Michelle Ryan is such a hottie
+CosmicUndeadElf I think her character deserves a comeback.
James Holmes I agree
CosmicUndeadElf I read somewhere that Peter Capaldi could be leaving Dr Who sometime soon. Perhaps Michelle's character could be the 13th Doctor's companion?
+James Holmes Her character actually returned in a Doctor Who comic book in 2013 but although I like Michelle very much (she's a good actress and a very lovely person) I don't think she'll return in the TV Series.
Koczy There's nothing to stop you putting her in fanfic. In the ideas I have, she could return.
You could practically feel him vibrating from excitement
So many versions and still this version of the Doctor is the most memorable other than Matt Smith’s version.
'oooh and malcolm' 'yeah'..... 'you're my new bestfriend'! BEST FUDGING LINE IN THE EPISODE!
