Yes, if you catch the ball and then go over the goal line with it in your hands, its a goal for the other team. And that last goal looked suspiciously like match rigging tbh, lol.
Being a goalkeeper is definitely one of the hardest jobs on the field. Anyone can play football all my dude when you come to England I’m sure a few of us would be glad to arrange a 5 or 11 a side football match for you to join in. You’d love it mate the feeling of getting the ball upfront and running then scoring a goal it makes ya feel great.
Gianluigi Donnarumma's story is incredible. Made his debut for one of the biggest clubs in the world at 16! Made his international debut for Italy at 17. Love the shirt!
A goalkeeper can have a man of the match performance, but its the 1 mistake he makes that we all remember. It's by far the hardest position to play on a team.
The second mistake/ goal could have been because the goal keeper (Petr Cech) use to play for the team in blue (Chelsea). Ironically the goal scorer Cesc Fabergas use to play for the team in red and white (Arsenal). All very confusing.
1:24 that goalkeeper is called Petr Čech he used to play for Chelsea the team in blue and the guy who scored was Cesc Fàbregas and he used to play for Arsenal the team in red and white and Donnarumma you said perfect
1:25 The goalkeeper here (Petr Cech) used to play for Chelsea (the team in blue) and was their best goalkeeper. After this goal, there were memes about him being an undercover agent sent to help his former club
JT you need to be aware that match fixing is an issue in South America. The goal where the keeper throws it into his own net @ 4:51 is highly suspicious.
I was at that Hull City v Chelsea match (the team in amber and black striped kit v the blue kit)! 😁 Love your channel JT, been watching for years now, would love to meet you some day!
3:04 some keepers when they’re out of their box and they’re being pressed will kick the ball out and either kick it away when it’s already out or throw another ball back in so they have time to run back to their box even if they get a yellow card or a warning because that’s better than a goal
I used to play on a Saturday in the deep levels of non-league football. Elland Road was in the distance. A opposition player took a long shot and it just went up in the sky. My late Cousin, the goalkeeper, ducked and ran behind the goal as the ball sailed into the net for a goal. He thought it was going behind for a goal kick 😂
13:40 - Yup. If it crosses the line it's a goal, whether the keeper's holding it or not. And yes - 14:15 - as long as the ball bounces on the pitch before it goes in, a goalkeeper can clear the ball and score.
The one at 12:50 wasnt being casual about it, he got confused, if you listen you hear fans whistling and it sounded like the ref whistle, he stopped as he assumed it was a foul
What happens at 2:40 is that the goal is disallowed because 1: it was a free-kick 2: in a free-kick (and penalty) you aren't allowed to touch the ball 2 times in a row, what the goalkeeper did, so the ref disallowed the goal and the gk had to do the free-kick again
I can’t remember the keeper, but there was one who took free kicks (mentioning as he was skilled), on the keeper mistake side, the Cardiff keeper tried to stop a throw in to him, went under his foot and in. There was Taibi for Manchester United who let the ball straight through him like the one in the wet game.
If it goes totaly over the line no matter who kicked it or the goal keeper had it in his hands and crossed the line or it bounces of the ref, it's a goal [if not off side/foul etc.]
The only thing that matters concerning if its a goal or not is that all of the ball has crossed all of the line. It doesnt matter which player touched the ball last or if its in the hands of the goalkeeper. If it was still in-play (ie the ref haddnt stopped play for some reason) and then crosses the line, its a goal.
But was Petr Čech's really a mistake? He may have been in goal for Arsenal on that occasion, but had previously been one of Chelsea's most successful goal keepers! Perhaps he thought he owed his old team mates a bit of a treat!
13:48 Yes it’s still a goal… it’s an own goal on the keeper because the rules say that if the ball fully crosses the goal line then it’s a goal… regardless if the ball was outside of the net at the time when the keeper catches it.
Goalkeepers trying to be skillful or clever is quite funny. If in doubt hoof it out. Basically just kick it as hard and as far as you can to the other side of the pitch.
In a recent championship match leeds where tied (dont know who against) and it was a lovely pass of a shot to our keeper meslier he caught it dropped it and sat down as he watched it go in it was even worse because people saw him laughing and having a good time right after the game so people think he was payed by the other team to do it
1:35 that goal keeper played for the team he passed the ball to for years and are London rivals to the team he was playing for at the time of the clip… he was just helping his old team out 😂 oh and the guy who scored the goal from the dodgy pass also played for the other team 🤦♂️
Just in case no one else has mentioned it. Some of these keepers are playing at the highest level of football, the likes of Buffon, De Gea, Loris, Neuer, Cech, Donnarumma. Mistakes like this are relatively rare, however , with modern football placing emphasis on keepers to play out from the back, rather than kicking it clear. This has led to a rise in these kinds of mistakes
JT If u enjoy goalkeeper videos Check out Alisson Becker Vs West Brom! 16th may 2021! Best GK in the world, his father had tragically died only weeks before, his interview afterwards will have u in tears!
I'm surprised Loris Karius in the 2018 Champions League Final wasn't in here, maybe the poster had sympathy for him considering he was concussed after an elbow in the head by Ramos. Pepe Reina's "Beach Ball" incident (is that really a keeper mistake though?)
The beach ball is a refereeing mistake as the rules say a goal scored with outside interference (ie an object that should not be on the field of play) should not count. The game should have been restarted from where the shot was taken
When you know who these keepers are, these mistakes show how even the best can mess up. Neuer, Buffon, Lloris are all World Cup winners. Buffon, Neuer and Courtois are the only keepers to make it into the top 3 for UEFA player of the year, where the top 2 were usually Ronaldo and Messi. Neuer and Buffon are arguably in the conversation of best goalkeeper to ever play.
sad thing about the Cech one was he used to play for Chelsea - just passing it to an old teammate, hah *EDIT* That last one looks like it was in a fixed game...there's a lot of them...
Everyone thinks a goalkeeping job is easy But if you make one mistake, everyone blame see if the strike makes one mistake, they get another go at it 0:15
It's funny that some of those goalies (Donnarumma and Neuer) are among the best in the world. But everyone makes mistakes. Anyway, yes, if the ball goes in, in any way, it's a goal.
Hello!! I started watching your football videos yesterday and I love your reactions, but I can't believe there aren't any videos of Ronaldinho. He is the best without a doubt, it is difficult to say having Messi. But Ronaldinho is the most skilled. I play basketball, and Ronaldinho applies basketball to football. Greetings from Argentina. I hope to see your reaction. Thank you!!!
14:00 I believe that last clip was found out to be match fixing. He was miles away from heading the ball, he jogged after it, fell over nothing. 1:25 Arsenal v Chelsea...... The Arsenal goalie is a former Chelsea player and the Chelsea goal scorer is a former Arsenal player! 2:21 If that was a free kick it should be retaken because you can't kick it twice but if it was a normal kick then it's a keeper mistake. 2:46 I'm guessing he wanted to kick it high into the stands to give him time to get back into his goal but he miskicked it so he played on to waste time and give him a chance to get back in goal. He got booked for time wasting. You almost said his name properly...... He's Italian and Gian is similar to Jan, JanLuigi. 3:34 Look at the ref (the one in black) the way he spreads his arms means no foul. American umpires do the same thing. 5:30 Your logic is the ball is wet but because of the water the ball didn't bounce like it should, I've been there. 13:15 Yes if he caught the ball and crossed the line it would be a goal
Yes, if you catch the ball and then go over the goal line with it in your hands, its a goal for the other team. And that last goal looked suspiciously like match rigging tbh, lol.
Yeah I 100% agree that was no slip 😅 he was running so slowly and just threw himself to the floor lmao
actually it is not As I have played football for 8 years all of those years as goalkeeper and it is legal
@@ZaireOnumah ....straight lies 😅 if the ball goes over the line no mater who touched it last is a goal.
JT has a better understanding of football than nearly all of the American videos I’ve seen about football
You crack me up straightaway 😅 "he should at least get an assist for that" 😂
Being a goalkeeper is definitely one of the hardest jobs on the field. Anyone can play football all my dude when you come to England I’m sure a few of us would be glad to arrange a 5 or 11 a side football match for you to join in. You’re a tall dude JT you could be a goalkeeper aha
Gianluigi Donnarumma's story is incredible. Made his debut for one of the biggest clubs in the world at 16! Made his international debut for Italy at 17.
Love the shirt!
Yes JT. Rocking that Newcastle top mate 👍
GET IN! JT WEARING HIS TOON TOP❤❤❤❤
Yes finally get to see JT in a Newcastle shirt
Goalkeeper has the hardest job on the pitch JT don’t forget that buddy!!!!
Yes JT. Loving the Newcastle shirt
Yes it does count. If the ball crosses the line (with or without a human attached) is a goal
A goalkeeper can have a man of the match performance, but its the 1 mistake he makes that we all remember. It's by far the hardest position to play on a team.
Has a Newcastle fan, it awesome to see you in the shirt.

Finally. A popular youtuber wears a Toon shirt. Its been a while since i saw a ytber wear a newcastle shirt. Up the toon! ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️
1:24 that goalkeeper is called Petr Čech he used to play for Chelsea the team in blue and the guy who scored was Cesc Fàbregas and he used to play for Arsenal the team in red and white and Donnarumma you said perfect
Loving the Newcastle too mate 🖤🤍🖤🤍 up the mags
I was a goalkeeper for years. I could've made a compilation of my own howlers! I put it down to usually forgetting my contacts!
1:25 The goalkeeper here (Petr Cech) used to play for Chelsea (the team in blue) and was their best goalkeeper. After this goal, there were memes about him being an undercover agent sent to help his former club
JT, you the man.
Go on JT wear your Toon top with pride you know your an honorary Geordie now and you have just made this geordie super proud
JT you need to be aware that match fixing is an issue in South America. The goal where the keeper throws it into his own net @ 4:51 is highly suspicious.

Loving the NUFC jersey 😊
JT, you need to get your hiney over to the UK and meet up with some of your fans who I'm sure would love to take you to a match.

My late Cousin, the goalkeeper, ducked and ran behind the goal as the ball sailed into the net for a goal. He thought it was going behind for a goal kick 😂
A lot of these goalkeepers were some of the best around at the time, it just shows the best goalkeepers make mistakes as well.
Best top I've seen you wear owa lad Toon Toon Black and White Army
Dude that Newcastle jersey is SICK!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥😮💨
I love the fact you have a TOON top on in the video.
Rob Green’s blunder against the USA at the 2010 World Cup was awkward 🏴
Love your videos
Love the shirt.Toon army

Why kick it ‘out of bounds’? Can’t score with the ball off the field of play!
Love the shirt 😉😉 Newcastle fan so appreciate seeing that beauty of a shirt 😉😉
The one at 12:50 wasnt being casual about it, he got confused, if you listen you hear fans whistling and it sounded like the ref whistle, he stopped as he assumed it was a foul
I thought he is upside down with His Feed in the Air 😭🤣
As a Goalkeeper myself I never made as bad a howler as some of these… it’s almost comical how BAD a moment some GK can have 😂
13:55 yup counts as a goal
13:50 yes, An OWN GOAL to be exact 😂
Goal keeping IS the hardest position to play on the field, no question
What happens at 2:40 is that the goal is disallowed because 1: it was a free-kick 2: in a free-kick (and penalty) you aren't allowed to touch the ball 2 times in a row, what the goalkeeper did, so the ref disallowed the goal and the gk had to do the free-kick again
Glad to see pepe the clown here 😂 SUPER LEE CARSLEY!

12:21 that shit was 100% complete and total LUCK 😮😂
Thing is some of the clips of the goalkeepers shown are actually some of the best goalkeepers in the world
Goalkeepers trying to be skillful or clever is quite funny.
If in doubt hoof it out. Basically just kick it as hard and as far as you can to the other side of the pitch.
11:00 This goalie was and is considered one of the best of all time as well, Manuel Neuer
if the keeper and ball go over the line, the other side scores.
JT @ 6:25 Zach Steffan, he's a compatriot of yours!
Lovely top JT
In a recent championship match leeds where tied (dont know who against) and it was a lovely pass of a shot to our keeper meslier he caught it dropped it and sat down as he watched it go in it was even worse because people saw him laughing and having a good time right after the game so people think he was payed by the other team to do it

If the ball goes over the line it's a goal the only time it isn't is when the scorer is ruled off side
OMG if he didn't trip at the end he might have just made it,or would have been crazy close

8:55 did look like it went out to be fair
Legend wearing a toon top ❤
They missed off the Liverpool beach ball goal
Howay the toon is the green top!!
listen to you now.." he should get an assist" you've come along way 🤣
Cech at Arsenal was a disaster
Jt football is hard
You have to wonder if some of these goalkeepers were being paid by the opposition
You're right they dont want to clear it these days its all play from the back rubbish. If in doubt kick it out
As long as the ball crosses the line, the goal stands.
13:55 yes it counts as a goal
Please do a video where you learn the soccer players names
Who ma bappe? It’s M bappe
Love that strip!
As long as the ball is over the line and there are no rules broken then it's a goal
We can laugh JT, they're paid a laughable amount of money, so laugh away 😂
In the clip 9:47 he wasn't doing what he was supposed to and was probably bored
The thing is that some of these are the best keepers of the last 25 years.
3:38 it’s pronounced Gianluigi (Jon-Luigi) btw
Gan-le-we-g Don-a-ru-ma but close
3:38 its pronounced jean-luigi donnarumma (I think)
I'm surprised Loris Karius in the 2018 Champions League Final wasn't in here, maybe the poster had sympathy for him considering he was concussed after an elbow in the head by Ramos.

ain't no way karius's mistake in the 2018 ucl final wasn't there
1st 1 world cup final
