THANK YOU FOR THIS VID I AM NOT A PAINTER BUT I AM PREPAREING TO PAINT MY CAR AND NEVER HAVE I`VE DONE THIS BEFORE AND ITS KIND OF SCARY, BUT WITH THIS INFO IT GIVES ME MORE CONFEDENCE TO SEE IT THRU, I WISH I HAD MORE INCOME TO BUY ONE OF YOUR GUNS BUT THEY ARE OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE, BUT I KNOW QUALITY WHEN I SEE IT, YOU SEE I AM 71 AND SEEN A FEW THINGS IN MY LIFE AND CAN APRETIATE GOOD TOOLS OF THE ART OF PAINTING ,ANYWAY THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT VIDEO AND GOD BLESS.
I'd like to see more videos comparing the uses of each variation of sub-models. The LS, WS, entech EVO etc. It isn't very clear which is ideal for what purpose. Also with fluid tip & air cap options as well.
Hi the Manuel says inserting needle with packing gland seal but you just slided it into the gun with seal still inside gun does that not damage seal on this type of gun
Confused I might be inserting my needle in the wrong way as all my others guns I do the same as you just did but apparently you can damage iwata 400 ls packing gland if you don’t insert needle into gland first before putting into gun??
what about the air holes in the gun that gets paint in them it almost impossible to get to those holes. and if they are clogged the gun will not shoot correctly. and did not even do the most important part of the cap. You did clean the Horns if the horns are dirty it spray crooked.
What is a good website link to purchase service repair parts or kits for the Kiwami 4? I am in the USA. I cannot find any schematic with correct part numbers for the Kiwami4-13BA4 with the Kiwami4-BA4J Needle and Cap set. I have checked the Anest Iwata websites from USA, Japan, Vietnam and South Africa, and not one of them offers actual part numbers or a resource of where the Fluide Adjusting Guide or the Air Valve Seat parts can be obtained or the actual part numbers for either of those parts. The websites which are available - all seem to be out of date or links within the sites do not work. Not one supports parts for the Kiwami4. Thank you.
Not sure if my previous comment posted but iwata USA does not carry the kiwami series its exclusive to the asian market. You can however find some parts on ebay
@@jamessakimae9655 - I need to know the partt numbers. Oitherwise, no, there is no way to know the parts on ebay will fit as service replacements. I am well aware that the Kiwami4 is not in the USA. The Iwata sites ofr Vietnam and South Africa show the Kiwami4 but their website lacks links for service kist or actual part numbers for any parts, even a complete rebuild service kit is not disclosed...for the Fluide Adjusting Guide or the Air Valve Seat parts
Oooff,,,,this is how I clean after every spray🎨,,,,didn't realize it was a "deep clean". How do painters typically clean their gun after spraying? I'm really curious about this question. But, I only lube the needle, not the other parts, and I only hand-tighten my tip, cup-adapter, and air fitting........now I'm wondering if using a wrench on the tip is something I should be doing🤷♂️it certainly doesn't loosen up while I'm spraying, but maybe there's some leakage that affects the overall performance? I realize Awata won't respond, but if anyone else here has an answer, its appreciated🤜💥🤛
After 24 years of hearing, "Never put gun lube anywhere near where the paint goes!" You just blew my mind. I'll be using it properly from now on. 👍

May I ask where you get the various brushes, please?

I've been painting 40 years I've always tightened the fluid nozzle with the wrench with very little pressure just like he did
whats in that bottle if you dont telling me ?
0:17 lacquer thinner
I might put gun lube on threads but I don’t want it in my paint.
show set up and then how to diagnose and correct different defects which may be caused by incorrect set up and techniques
excellent
If I use that lube they’ll be fisheyes all over my paint job , are you nuts?
It’s lube made for paint guns
