Hi there. On the basecoat stage the text said the fan was fully open . Is this true because I've never heard of any supernova user using full fan. To be fair I've never tried it either. Always had my fan screwed all the way in and 2.5 turns out.
I've never heard any supernova user to ever run full fan either due to tendency for top and bottom heavy. However your fan looks very even in the video in the demonstration.. odd.
Many variables could make a pattern have a heavy top and bottom. Wrong pressure... Wrong set up for the paint system in use... Gun maintenance... Humidity and temperature... The list goes on! Can you tell me what is the actual nozzel size in mm on the W400 LV WBX 1.4. I have A W77 with fluid tip N°22 which is supposed to be 2mm and actually is 1.7mm and a old Wider 85 11S and it says 1.4 on the box and is actual 1.1mm. I need to buy a new gun and am a bit worried about the fluid tip sizes. All the manufactures seem to lie about the fluid tip sizes.
Hi, we would not recommend using the WS-400 for basecoat. It does depend on the baseboard in use. If you had to we would recommend a full fan and fluid with 2.0 Bar.
My problem with most guns and these are in that category is, nice wide pattern, has to overlap 90% down the panel to make it wet. The need for anything more than. 15-20% overlap negates wide fan claims.
