Asics Superblast - after finally getting my hands on this shoe it takes the cake for long run king. I swear most trainers seem to bottom out past 10 miles for me but these bad boys keep on chugging for me long into mile 16 on some days. Adidas Prime x Strung v1, this was my tempo shoe for most of the year and although it takes a bit of getting use to the max stack height and trajectory of the shoe, I was able to get a nice feeling of my cadence and changing paces feels really smooth and effortless in this shoe. Lastly, Brooks Hyperion Max, not a shoe that I can praise for being easy on the feet or comfortable for long distances, but I don’t know what it is for a 3-7 mile run this shoe just produces. I mean there are obviously better options for racing but as an up tempo trainer this shoe really surprised me with some of the 10k times I was putting down without really trying to.
Thank you for these reviews! I ended up finding Boston 12s on sale for $111 for my race day shoe and Puma Deviate Nitro 2s for $108 for my tempo trainers! Both are amazing and are mixed with my Nike Gore-tex Trail 4s (winter weather).
Awesome shoe revue, as per usual! Couldn't agree more with the number 1 selection. Totally onboard wirh the Boston 12 - picked it up due to the Continental rubber outsole as the pavements and roads here get super slippery when wet. Instead, it replaced the Superblast as my daily shoe. My personal top 3 from 2023 3. A toss up between the last of the Vaporfly 2, and the Asics Metaspeed Edge 2. Asics Superblast 1. Adizero Boston 12 (So good, i bought a second pair to keep in reserve)
Hi Edd, enjoyable and helpful content as always. Regarding the Boston 12, is the upper made out of the same material as the sen9/pro3? It’s a bit tricky to tell on camera!
I vote for shoes that are fun to run in. Shoes that almost forces you to go fast. I only have version 8. But I think the Adidas Takumi Sen line is WONDERFUL 🙏
Rocket x2 is my favorite for the year..#2 was alphafly V-1..#3 Mizuno pro..for training it's fuel cell all the way..1 of my favorite songs of all time for last kick in a race is the stray cats rock this town..really pumps me to reach for that last kick.
Nice selection, we completely disagree on the Vaporfly 3 (love them!) BUT we completely agree on the Boston 12 (although love the Saucony Speed 3 a little more). But it´s a great shoe! Have a great Christmas! P.S. Consider running the Venlo Half in March (Venloop), would love to see you there! :)
Boston 12 is my favorite shoe of 2023. It does everything well. While I prefer the adios pro 3 for racing. But if I had to pick a shoe under $200 , this would be my pick for racing
I'm looking forward to the rebellion pro 2 but also a little nervous. They seem to have turned everything up to 11 with the update. The v1 is practically perfect. Will the changes be a step too far or heavenly?
I’m a massive fan of vaporfly 3 because of the sink and bounce and the fit of the shoe works for me. I was a massive fan of the vaporfly 2 but I’m a full convert to the 3 I just think it’s plan faster and more comfortable more cushioned even if the vaporfly 2 initially feels faster the amount of bounce you get as a forefoot striker in the 3 is great I’m not a huge fan of of endorphin elite it okay but it’s a bit firmer I’m thinking of selling it but I love the green colour way Love the wave rebellion pro tho it’s not super soft or firm it’s just super bouncy
My favourite: Puma Deviate Elite 2 for my tempo and faster long runs, Nike Vaporfly 2 for my very few races, I know, I bought it this year though, so it's 2023's shoe to me ;p , New Balance Rebel 2 and Under Armour Velocity Flow 2 for my daily runs and ASICS Glideride 3 for my easy long runs. I love your selection of shoes, despite the fact you didn't include Puma Magnify Nitro 2 that I ordered the other day after watching both reviews of yours. Just kidding, I wanna use them as a recovery and easy long run shoe so I think I'll be fine.
I like the way you gave your runners-up and your reasons for narrowing down by eliminating them, as well as the caveat about what year you tested them. So many listeners seem to feel compelled to to hone in on some detail to complain about in those departments in Year's Best reviews!
PS. Happy to see the Hyperion Max in the top 5. Like you, I’m not a fan of mushy super soft. I like this one for its versatility and that has made it my travel running shoe. When I’m home I use it most often for runs with speed elements but for a mainly speed workout (such as on the track) I go with the Takumi Sens. Other favorite shoe of the year has to be the Endorphin Pro 3 with which I got a huge marathon PR last April, even though in all fairness, better training, carb-loading and fueling obviously played the biggest role. Nevertheless, it’s the first CP shoe I’ve loved.
As I think about my best three shoes it turns out they are all from Adidas. Prime X Strung (2022) Boston 12 and Takumi Sen 8 (2022). Honorable mention to Triumph 21 in fourth. I want a pair of the Adizero Pro 3's and the Mizuno Rebellion Pro's but I'm short on cash at the moment. What the heck mortgage payments nd food is overrated.........
I also love Prime X Strung, Boston 12 and Takumi Sen 8. I think you’ll really like Adios Pro 3. You might just need to tape your big toe knuckles to avoid blisters from the last lace hole. I’ve done that once or twice for high stakes races (only happening to me when I run really fast), but for me it’s a small price to pay for the most amazing shoe I ever ran in.
Top 10 purchases this year 10: Adios6 9: Sketchers Ride9 8: Boston 11 7: Puma electrify 2 6: Sketchers Ultra Go 5: Boston 9 4: PrimeX Strung 3: Takumi Sen 8 2: Adiós Pro 2 1: Adiós Pro 3
Hyperion Max is a great shoe, just did 31 miles in it on Saturday. Superblast is my race day shoe and it is just so smooth. Nice top 10 list, hope you have a great holiday season
I just finished a half marathon this morning and funny enough was using the boston 12s. I hated the boston 10s to the point I just gave them away. But the 12s are the complete opposite. Just a level down to the adios pro 3s which I love racing in.
Quite happy to see Boston 12 in the top of your list. I bought Adios 6 based on your list before, didn’t regret it at all. I needed a new shoe, bought Boston 12 after seeing your review couple months ago. Nice to know it moved to your top list. I’m not fast runner 27min/5k, 60min/10k. For me, I do find this shoe to be “Do it all” kind of shoe. I even take it on my easy runs. I know it’s good to do shoe rotation, but if you’re in a budget for a while, this shoe is nice to pick up since it is very versatile. Thanks for all the hard work. Everytime I’m curious about a shoe, i always wonder what Eddbud thinks about the shoes 😂
Puma ForeverRun was my discovery of the year. Such a great Allrounder for my slight pronation, from tempo to my Berlin marathon. - and that at 100 EUR!! Just got the Winter edition 🙌
Thanks for your review, which contributed to my buy decision! 🙏 Got wet and cold feet now in snowy/ rainy weather, Winter edition keeps the feet at least dry for a few grams more! 🥶
not from 2023 but still my Nr. 1 is the Endorphine Pro 3. of 2023 arethe sc trainer v2, superblast, rocket x 2, boston 12, Prime x Strung 2 the nicest buys for me i would say. but i an really looking forward to 2024 and the alphafly 3, Endorphin pro 4 and SC Elite 4 :)
Outstanding. I purchased the Boston 12, two weeks ago. 100% agree with you about its qualities. It's good for easy miles but even better for faster miles. I was surprised how much I liked this shoes when I compared them with others at the running shoe store. I had another brand in mind going in and left with the Boston 12. Just got the Adizero 8 for short runs. Same pedigree, but more nimble.
Really enjoyed this 2023 shoe review Ed. A wide & varied range of brands (& colours 😊) with one or two surprise choices but well deserved from your testing. Merry Christmas to you & all your family (where’s Beast?)
Great selection and love hearing why you like or didn't like a pair. I've really enjoyed the Hyperion Max this year, did a lot of my long runs in them on hills and some varied surfaces too. I've been hit with an pretty serious hip injury around midyear so have been just running easy a lot of the 2nd half of the year, but I've really struggled to find something that worked for me. I tried the Triumph 21 (had love previous versions, 18 & 19) but something in the upper was weird for me it caused the bottom of my foot have a burning sensation it was very odd, the store let me swap them for the Magnify 2, which was ok, but the upper has stretched a lot they are baggy around the mid-foot and I now get blisters in them, but they've only done 150km which is disappointing. So I've gone back to just using my Mach 5 which has been very faithful I've had lots of pairs of Mach 4 and 5. I'm eyeing up the Novablast 4 to try next.
Just to add one great running shoe not on this list, but (IMHO) anyone who likes a smooth, extremely comfortable, and effortless running shoe should try the Atreyu Race Model. This shoe is very affordable ($120 U.S dollars) and it feels like the shoe should be worth about $250. I ran in most of these shoes on this list and I must say, I think the Atreyu Race Model is better than these shoes on foot. This is my honest opinion and I wouldn't ever say it if I didn't mean it. This shoe is a carbon plated racer, but it can be used for training as well. 👍👏🎖
I'll second this! Almost raced CIM in this shoe but put 50+ miles in only 3 runs. Dream to run in and the price cannot be beat. I bought a second pair when the 35% discount was in effect. Felt like I was stealing almost!!!!!!!
Love The kurgan/highlander reference Edd; Nice list you and the family have a great (winter Holiday of choice). My top three shoes for 23 : 3) Topo Cyclone 2, 2) Brooks Hyperion Max , 1)Mizuno Rebellion Pro
I agree with you on the Boston 12. Am considering a second pair! Nb elite v3 and 1080v13 are in my rotation near the top. Also love the Saucony triumph 20, which I'm surprised about because 10mm drop isn't my favourite.
I had the Adidas Adizero Boston 11 until around October, and it was the most durable running shoes I ever had. I ran so much with it that when I went with something different, replace it. Went with another plated shoes, the Asics Magic Speed 3, and so far, I'm loving then, and I don't regret not going without the Boston 13 ( I'm sure I would love this Boston model as well ). Next year, I want to try another different plated training shoes : the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Flash 2. I had the ever lasting and fun Rebellion, and so I skipped the Rebellion Flash 1 because it was pretty much the original model, but with different coloways. About some of my best shoes of the year , it is hard to mention just 3 or 5 from the 12+ models that I have used. But I will say the three that I have used the most (and bought then in 2023) : -Asics Gel-Nimbus 25( most comfortable shoes from 2023. Better then the Invincible 3 or Wave Sky 7); - Adidas SolarGlide 6 ( simple shoes, it was my trustworthy gem for long runs and to use them in raining days ); - Nike Pegasus 40 , for some reason, I found this much better than the Peg 39 and it is one of my most addicted shoes I love using .It is better than a 1080 v13 , GT 2000 12 or a Wave Rider 27 .
I can go along with most of these, especially the Boston 12 being a favorite for 2023, however the VP 3 has to be my top shoe! I've run all my marathons in the AF V1 until this recent one in December (CIM) where I opted for the VP 3 mainly due to the weight and upper breathability. Ran a 17" PB and an official time of 3:08:22. Happy 60 yr old runner here. AF 3 sounds like it will dominate all super shoes yet again. Wish I could have liked the Mizuno Pro (sized far too small and tight in the toe box) and the Saucony Elite (guess I'm just to slow as it felt firm and harsh to me). Prime X/Prime X Strung and Superblast definitely were the shoes that received the most miles this year by a long shot. I would add that the Atreyu Race Model is FABULOUS and even with only 3 runs I have hit over 50 miles. It would make my top 5 for sure (and is only $120!!!)
Great video as always Edd thanks. My top three this year (of shoes that have come out this year) are Endorphin Elite, Hyperion Max and Takumi Sen 9 (cheated a bit on release date of that one!). I’m definitely with you on preferring the firmer shoes 👍🏻
Check ⚠️. I have the Triumph 20 and 21. My Triumph 21 is 15 gr heavier then the 20 in size UK 8.5. Also midsole feels much firmer. I think they used the new Ride 17 midsole foam in my Triumph 21. I think this is why Triumph 21 has better grip. Same outsole but in the 21 being denser midsole it does not sink in 🎉
Regarding your "Top 10" 2023 list, I have little to comment as this time I don't have most of the sneakers you chose. But I completely agree with the excellent position of the Mizuno Rebelion Pro and was extremely surprised that the Boston 12 came in first place. OK, I saw a lot of reviews that this version is better than the previous version, but version 11 is so bad that to be good, version 12 could only have the same name as the previous one. As the two versions are visually similar, I couldn't and still can't (sorry) believe that this improved version is at least reasonable. Maybe in about 5 versions of the Adidas Boston I'll see it as an option again. But for me, the best thing about this video isn't in the Top 10 list, but in your courageous opinion about the Nike Vapor Fly 3. It turns out that when a sneaker is as renowned as this one, practically all evaluators play on the so-called "ball of safety" and already praise the sneakers as one of the best, before even putting them on their feet. That's why your review of this sneaker was brave and worthy of my respect and the absolute certainty that your reviews are honest and true. The Nike VF3 was the big disappointment for me, and my worst investment in 2023. A very soft shoe, and extremely tiring. The more you get tired, the more it demands your effort, unlike firmer sneakers like the Mizuno Pro, or certainly the Saucony Elite, which I didn't have the opportunity to try (it only arrived in Brazil last week). So nothing to argue with, other than the surprise Boston 12 for your list and congratulations on keeping the Nike VF3 away from it!
In this day and age, "a little bit of time to break in" would not warrant a #1 position on my list. I would DEFINITELY place the Wave Rebellion Pro at the top spot - what an awesome shoe, right out of the box!
I’m 99% with you on the Boston 12 - long time adidas wearer, and this is good for so much and with 25% off is super value for money. The 1% issue is maybe just my feet, but on one foot what I thought was the tongue gusset, but is actually the lacing loops gusset rubs where it has the cut out circles. It’s just weird, weight saving, or breathability, the holes in the side support rub on my feet unless I go super tight with the laces, but it can be difficult to get that perfect each time.
The Superblast does get discounted. Bought my pair for around 150 euros, and now I see some for 176 at i-Run. Tempting to buy those instead of the Novablast 4.
Right! If i had one wish for free, how about the Triumph 21 with a little less drop? 10mm is a beginner shoe style and forces you heel first into the ground when you don't think about it!
Great video and nice to see Christmas Budd is here 🎄 Musical interlude? Give Kacey Musgraves's Christmas album a go, e.g. A Willie Nice Christmas with Willie Nelson ❤
My top 3 shoes were the Mizuno Wave Rebellion, Saucony Endorphin Elite and Saucony Triumph 20. If I paid full price for the shoes I probably would think differently but because I was lucky enough to get them on steep discounts they offered great value for the performance they delivered.
Thanks for your content I have 2 question 1.My footwear outsole wears off on the outer heel part. Not dramatically, but I think my adidas solar glide 6 with the continental outsole will be off in overall 400km. Would the Mizuno with it's interesting shape of outsole last longer? 2. That pair of adidas is quite heavy for the races. I am considering between adios 7 and Boston 12. Which benefits you see in Boston over adios? I want a balance between versatility and lightness for the races.
Good stuff! I did a little less running this year compared to previous years.....but I think the shoes I reached for most are the Altra Escalante 3 and the Topo Cyclone 2. The Topo is super light and just really fun to run in. Enjoy the holiday season....keep cranking those Christmas tunes!
Hi I have some ALtras as the escalante 3 and find them very boring, not bouncy a kind of dead midsole and have heard very good things about the cyclone 2. Do you think the cyclone is a lot better than the escalante? thanks
Hi! I'd have to say the Topo cyclone 2 is better than the escalante 3. It's lighter and has a peebax midsole so is bouncier on each step. @@r.cordis8251
Pretty interesting that you chose the Deviate Nitro 2 and the Superblast over the Boston 12 four months ago in the comparison video. Really goes to show how the lightstrike pro just keeps getting better, as many have noticed.
Solid choices there Edd. Most surprising shoe for me this year has been the Hyperion Max. Light and responsive, with a smooth ride to boot. Just need to find something to replace the seemingly discontinued Glideride 3 now 😢
Vomero17 love them just for walking every day use, they are the same as Zegama with foams witch I love and use on trails the most. Mizunos with no heel , I'm interested 👍 I would add to list Streakfly as my favorit, and in 2024 I am lookng forward to Peg Turbo 4 to dethrone all shoes above 💪👟🔥😁
Mizuno rebellion pro, Rocket x2, NB SC trainer v2 and the Superblast are the greatest shoes for me this year. Strung v2 is the biggest disappointment by far.
@@Kirmukarmu Others may like it, for me it is just clunky, heavy and boring with a pretty bad lockdown as well for 300 euro. You can put together a really good three shoe rotation for that from excellent Puma shoes.
Just watched this video and more informed I would say.Asked for your recommendation earlier and I think apart from Boston 12 I will go with Superblast as a more well-rounded shoe for my 2nd purchase after Boston
The Mizuno does look like a mad shoe, but I really think they could be on to something. Would love to see you do a 5k in anger and report back. I had a telephone call from a man, he did not give his name, but he tells me... "Get your kitchen painted or you'll be in big trouble John."
This is an easy one for me! The Adidas Boston 12 would have been my choice, too, if it wasn't for the Topo Athletic Cyclone 2 coming out early in 2023. Don't get me wrong, I love the Adidas Boston 12's whose only flaw in my opinion is a poor fitting upper, but the Cyclone 2's are so uniquely special their just in a different league of their own. It's amazing to me how a shoe can still remain stable and bouncy and yet have a midsole that's 100% supercritical pebax from heel to toe with no plate with a weight that's lighter than the box it came in. I'm 215 lbs. and this shoe has yet to bottom out on me. An upper that's so soft and supple that they feel like a slipper on your feet. With an anatomical toebox, my Injinji toe sox are a perfect complement to this shoe. A similar feel to the New Balance Rebel 3, which I purchased for half price. I ended up returning the Rebel 3s because it doesn't measure up the ride and the quality of the Topo Cyclone 2. The only issue with the Topo Cyclone 2 is that it runs long, not just for me but for everybody. Therefore, you need to go a half size down.
For me, 2023 had 4 shoes that stood out to me.

Hi Ed, am seriously thinking to get a pair of Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro. What would you recommend to use it for and distance?
I agree ed boston 12 rocks - good choice!
Can you do a top list from each brand
I'm looking forward to the rebellion pro 2 but also a little nervous. They seem to have turned everything up to 11 with the update. The v1 is practically perfect. Will the changes be a step too far or heavenly?
I’m a massive fan of vaporfly 3 because of the sink and bounce and the fit of the shoe works for me.
I was a massive fan of the vaporfly 2 but I’m a full convert to the 3 I just think it’s plan faster and more comfortable more cushioned even if the vaporfly 2 initially feels faster the amount of bounce you get as a forefoot striker in the 3 is great
I’m not a huge fan of of endorphin elite it okay but it’s a bit firmer I’m thinking of selling it but I love the green colour way
Love the wave rebellion pro tho it’s not super soft or firm it’s just super bouncy
The Endorphine Elite. So quick and exciting to run in.
It’s a right banger that shoe! So exciting to run in
I agree with your Boston 12 selection
Topo Cyclone 2. What the Streakfly could have been. What a shoe!
Those shoeboxes are amaaazing, I want!
Thanks Edd. Grats on another year of running.
It’s been a bit stop start with illness but at last got over this darn cough. Thanks for the support 👍🏼👊
Big body runners, you haven't lived till you lived in the Nike Motiva
Shout out to the midsole man! Best shoetuber out there.
Much appreciated! 👍🏼👊
Haha, I remember you didn't even want to try the Bostons at first, Ed😂. Well, great choices. Thanks for your videos in 2023.
Glad I did now!
@@EDDBUD ❤️
Thanks for the advice. I’m on the fence about which one to try first. I’ll shop around for deals and let fate decide 😂
I found a pair of Adizero Pro 3’s for $136. Winner winner chicken dinner!
Really looking forward to those new balance shoes, been holding off buying 😂
Where I live the triumph 21 is apperntly not released yet not even in the official local saucony site its not available.
Weird. Where about’s do you live?

Totally agree on the Boston 12. It is my favorite shoe of the rotation, just a joy to run in them. Merry Xmas from Guadalajara, Mexico, Ed!
Superb value for money on the Boston
Hyperion Max is a great shoe, just did 31 miles in it on Saturday. Superblast is my race day shoe and it is just so smooth. Nice top 10 list, hope you have a great holiday season
Have a top time Scott 🎄👍🏼
I just finished a half marathon this morning and funny enough was using the boston 12s. I hated the boston 10s to the point I just gave them away. But the 12s are the complete opposite. Just a level down to the adios pro 3s which I love racing in.
Same here. The Boston 10/11 didn’t work for me. But the 12 is superb
I see they have a winter version now. Glad it worked out so well for you 👍🏼👊
Thanks for your review, which contributed to my buy decision!
The Adios is a lighter cousin. Thanks for watching and happy holidays
Really enjoyed this 2023 shoe review Ed. A wide & varied range of brands (& colours 😊) with one or two surprise choices but well deserved from your testing. Merry Christmas to you & all your family (where’s Beast?)
Nothing beats Superblast for me. Just effortless 😊
You’ve made me get a bunch of shoes this year!!! Cheers Edd! Merry Christmas!
Happy holidays!
Glad someone gets these references! Have top festive break sir and I appreciate your support 👊👍🏼🎄
Adidas made an absolute hit this year with the Boston 12. Truly versatile, wears well and pushes you forward that you almost don't want to stop.
But I will say the three that I have used the most (and bought then in 2023) :
-Asics Gel-Nimbus 25( most comfortable shoes from 2023. Better then the Invincible 3 or Wave Sky 7);
- Adidas SolarGlide 6 ( simple shoes, it was my trustworthy gem for long runs and to use them in raining days );
- Nike Pegasus 40 , for some reason, I found this much better than the Peg 39 and it is one of my most addicted shoes I love using .It is better than a 1080 v13 , GT 2000 12 or a Wave Rider 27 .
Nice list Edd! Seems like Adidas comes out on top every year, and I agree. 1. Adios Pro 2. 2. Triumph 20. 3. Salomon Ultraglide.
Very interesting
I think so too!
Bang on about that boston 12. When a got a thought a dont get the hype. But after round 100miles absolutely lovin the shoe.
Yes the improve over time.
U reckon the Boston 12 can be a good daily shoe? Need a new pair. I got adios 7 rn
Just ordered Boston 12 for US$80 off the Adidas app. Only the bright green was discounted.
@@stenblann9784 I saw that right after I watched this vid but didn’t have my size in stock. Adidas usually does crazy discounts so I’ll wait
Hey Edd - just picked up a pair of Boston 12s for $USD80 ! Half price so I’m a happy chappy! Thanks for all your entertaining content during 2023!!
Appreciate the support 👍🏼👊
Same outsole but in the 21 being denser midsole it does not sink in 🎉
I have heard reports of this too. It seems they slightly modified the midsole
22 out soon
Superblast is amazing but I have to stop to remove the rocks every few kilometres 😢
Yeah same here
Is the Boston 12 true to size
Yes 👍🏼
Thank you, Edd.
Appreciate your support
Much appreciated!
Just got my alpha 3s, so smooth and fast !!!!! Reminds me of a more stable and comfy version 1
Had my order cancelled sadly. Glad you are enjoying your pair
In this day and age, "a little bit of time to break in" would not warrant a #1 position on my list. I would DEFINITELY place the Wave Rebellion Pro at the top spot - what an awesome shoe, right out of the box!
I mean like a few miles or so. Nothing huge
Don't get all internet upset with me. Gold.
Great review, thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Since ur a long time adidas wearer, I’m genuinely curious on what ur opinion on the adidas UB light is
The Superblast does get discounted. Bought my pair for around 150 euros, and now I see some for 176 at i-Run. Tempting to buy those instead of the Novablast 4.
Not here in the uk sadly. Never on sale!
@@EDDBUDAlso never here in the german speaking DACH region. And we've had even the SB2 for a long time by now.
Father Midsole is bringing me some Boston 12's this year. I have been a very good boy!
Don’t forget to leave out a mince pie.
Triumph 20 and 21 amazing shoe.
Right!
If i had one wish for free, how about the Triumph 21 with a little less drop?
10mm is a beginner shoe style and forces you heel first into the ground when you don't think about it!
Great video and nice to see Christmas Budd is here 🎄
Musical interlude? Give Kacey Musgraves's Christmas album a go, e.g. A Willie Nice Christmas with Willie Nelson ❤
Will check that album out!
Like the cubes 👍
My top 3 shoes were the Mizuno Wave Rebellion, Saucony Endorphin Elite and Saucony Triumph 20. If I paid full price for the shoes I probably would think differently but because I was lucky enough to get them on steep discounts they offered great value for the performance they delivered.
For me it’s adios pro 3 (racing), deviate nitro 2 (daily trainer/ speed session), and nimbus 25 (recovery/ long run) 😊
Awesome review
Waiting for the Endorphin Elite to go on sale...
Might never happen! Only seen it discounted twice by a small amount
Love the Boston 12
One of the most improved shoes of 2023 👍🏼
Thanks for your content
I have 2 question
1.My footwear outsole wears off on the outer heel part.
Boston 12 a better bet. The mizuno has super soft foam and not all that much outsole.
Yeah they got better and better over time
Solid choices there Edd. Most surprising shoe for me this year has been the Hyperion Max. Light and responsive, with a smooth ride to boot. Just need to find something to replace the seemingly discontinued Glideride 3 now 😢
Such a good shoe and loads of cushion for no weight penalty.
Vomero17 love them just for walking every day use, they are the same as Zegama with foams witch I love and use on trails the most. Mizunos with no heel , I'm interested 👍 I would add to list Streakfly as my favorit, and in 2024 I am lookng forward to Peg Turbo 4 to dethrone all shoes above 💪👟🔥😁
i only ran boston 11{former 2,21 marathoner } looking forward switching to Boston 12
The 12 is that bit softer
Mizuno rebellion pro, Rocket x2, NB SC trainer v2 and the Superblast are the greatest shoes for me this year. Strung v2 is the biggest disappointment by far.
Strung v2 is the biggest disappointment by far
Why wtf?
@@Kirmukarmu Others may like it, for me it is just clunky, heavy and boring with a pretty bad lockdown as well for 300 euro. You can put together a really good three shoe rotation for that from excellent Puma shoes.
@@henya2409I got them $168 cad, can't beat them at that price, I'll carry extra weight for that price 😉
Just watched this video and more informed I would say.Asked for your recommendation earlier and I think apart from Boston 12 I will go with Superblast as a more well-rounded shoe for my 2nd purchase after Boston
If you can afford it the superblast is worth the cash, its super durable at least
@@EDDBUD
Yeah,I think we can get it for around 140 to 160 quid online.Asics website doesn't have all sizes available...
In order, I’d probably go Hoka Clifton 9, Mizuno Wave Mujin 9, Brooks Caldera 6, and the Brooks Ghost Max on top.
The Mizuno does look like a mad shoe, but I really think they could be on to something. Would love to see you do a 5k in anger and report back.
I had a telephone call from a man, he did not give his name, but he tells me... "Get your kitchen painted or you'll be in big trouble John."
“A little tab will do ya.”
@@EDDBUD You trim your brush up ✂️
This is an easy one for me!
