The 2 people with Darkseid in that one scene where it looks like they’re about to enter the boom tube are Granny Goodness and Desaad, his main worshipper and assistant.
For the scene at the end, it looks like the Knightmare scene from BVS where Batman has the trench coat on so maybe it’s another Knightmare scene or premonition scene?
The beginning yeah that’s Superman’s death from BVS. He has the wound on his chest and the electricity going wild.

I have a theory about the ending of the trailer. In the Knightmare scene from BVS I believe he’s supposed to be in the Middle East. That’s where it looks like he is at the end of the trailer here. Conor you said maybe he’s not there to arrest The Joker. Maybe it’s because he can’t. Snyder has said Joker did kill Robin in his version. In the popular and amazing storyline A Death In The Family, Jason Todd who is Robin at the time, travels to the Middle East to find his mother but is betrayed by her and turned over to The Joker. Joker bludgeons Robin with a crowbar and then blows him and his mother up in a warehouse. The fans voted to kill Jason off since they hated Jason Todd as Robin. Batman goes to arrest Joker as the storyline continues but can’t because Joker has become a citizen of a Middle East country and its liaison to the U.N., shoving his diplomatic immunity in Batman’s face.
If Snyder uses a form of this storyline, maybe what we’re looking at is a flashback of some sort where Joker has killed Robin and is using his diplomatic immunity to tease and torment Batman. He explains this to Alfred in explaining why he works alone or something like that until he begins to form The Justice League. We already know he’s killed Robin in this continuity, as proven by the sight of Robin’s costume with the spray paint on it saying something like HA HA HA JOKES ON YOU BATMAN. Snyder confirmed it was the suit of one deceased Dick Grayson who was killed while being Robin. I think they’re going to use this storyline as a sort of reference point to explain why Batman didn’t and couldn’t arrest Joker. He looks very different from how he did in Suicide Squad without tattoos and all and he does look a bit younger. Watch it be a flashback or dream sequence Bruce is having to explain what happened.
Yep it’s a rated r film that’s 4 hours. But it’ll have chapters pulp fiction style.
