Yeah ...I thought that statement was off..at worst I thought he'd complain about the amount of salt in hotdogs or the way they are made, not w/e the hell he's talking about.
As a German I have to disagree with the statement "they all have the same vinegary and peppery taste"..Frankfurter, Bratwurst, Weißwurst...all of them have a very distinctive taste. What kay is cooking here is just a hotdog though xD so I get why that taste is on your mind c:
As Brit who lived in Germany for three years (Rheydt and Krefeld), I feel honour-bound to thank your country for giving the world the best sausages... Someone will make a joke about them being the 'wurst' here, I guarantee it. Bratwurst in particular are tasty meat tubes from heaven. :) Danke sehr!
@@TheDiplococcus Oh my, if you ever come here again, you gotta try bavarian "Bosna". It's like a thin bratwurst roasted on a grill in a soft bun with mustard and caramalized onions. Most popular during the winter. I don't even eat sausages too often but that stuff is heaven on earth and one of the only things I like about winter :)
Agree. I don't even know if I have ever had any sausage that I would descibe as "vinegary and peppery". Especially Frankfurter are very smooth and velvety in taste and texture!
Cutting a sausage diagonally IS a legitimate thing to do since it results in more surface area to brown which WILL mean more flavor, but you have to actually...BROWN the cut sides for it to make any difference.
You have even more surface area if cut them perpendicularly but with smaller chunks, this way it is much more grilled. But depends on the personal taste of course. But agree, that in this case it makes sense to cut them diagonally
@@fromthefire4176 That is an actual thing people do. Even people selling food, like street food vendors, do that for both flavor and the visual novelty.
Tbh this dish from her seems to be the most normal one so far When ever there was not much food at home we had to make "what ever you can find in the fridge omelet", and it doesn't taste bad I just prefer frying the sausages seporate from the omelet because it looks better that way in my opinion, but taste wise it really not that bad Key's presentation might not be the best that's all
I'll still do something similar with leftovers or the last of the peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. Instead of making an omelette, I'll fry everything together to make a hash, then serve it with a yolky fried egg on top. It's different every time, depending on what I have in the fridge, but it's always a tasty, filling meal.
Winnies con huevo is what this is called in Mexico. It’s like a breakfast taco filling in Tex Mex food too. And yea it can come with tomiartos onions and maybe some serrano to make it ala Mexicana
This video makes me question august's credibility. Everything else he reacted to were obv bad and anyone could point out a mistake in it but when it comes to this he makes judgments that are wrong like how the tomatoes are bad when they aren't.
He has to make stuff up to get views and to make fun of people to make himself feel better. AFAIC he has no credibility after this video. If I had been subscribed I would have unsubscribed after this video, but I never subscribed in the first place because I noticed the trend in him making stuff up.
It took you this long to question his credibility???! I mean end of the day he's just a troll with a vendetta against hot dogs. Sure Kay, Jack, and crew put out some nasty food, but are quite representative of average home cooks, maybe a little lower in the socioeconomic spectrum, and what they would come up with on a busy weeknight. I think at least the ingenuity in these recipes is valuable, and could be improved on by folks with better fundamentals. I think the best example of the type of cooking Kay is going for would be "Wolfe Pit".
I think it’s mostly because he doesn’t do a lot of his own cooking. Sorry to say but a lot of young men his age cannot manage boiling water or making toast. They just order out or eat someone else’s cooking, like their moms or a roommate.
That tomato is perfectly ripe, and fine to eat. I've cooked professionally for more than a decade, and this is actually one of her better videos. I'm glad she got the finger gaurd, but she was still scaring me with how she was cutting.... but that tomato was absolutely NOT rotten dude.... Like, this is all for fun, but I must ask you, do you actually cook, August? Sincere question
I've had the exact same question. I live in Europe and when it comes to tomatoes, this is your normal tomato. I genuinely don't think tomatoes in America are that different, so I'll second the question about August cooking himself.
I was wondering the same thing. I am no professional, but I’ve been cooking myself 100% of the time ever since I was about 12 years old. Rotten tomatoes or much, much scarier. That tomato was by no means fresh, which actually not so fresh tomatoes are perfect for cooking and things like omelettes or even making a sauce or soup, as from personal experience very fresh tomatoes don’t have much juice at all coming out and are completely pink on the inside, a little bit of brown on the inside and it being juicy like that is really as a result of her messy cutting was probably a dull blade and the fact that it wasn’t all too fresh. As I said before, ultra fresh is not rotten, and is actually perfect for cooking into something. I am kind of worried about his minimal knowledge of cooking, because this isn’t the only video he said something that obviously showed he’s never picked up a pan before. I was especially worried about his commentary about the eggs. Some of those spots are just brown spots that are essentially from blood vessels exploding while the egg was being formed within the chicken. Those tend to be the ones that float more in the white or alongside the yolk and often are represented as tiny little specs. This is normal especially from farm fresh eggs, I can’t confirm as to why, but my guess is, factory farms might do something to be able to look through the eggs before packaging, maybe shining a very bright light through the shell and inspect them to make sure they’re perfect? They’re usually producing so much per day that it wouldn’t cost much to discard some of the eggs they produce. On the other hand, farm fresh eggs wouldn’t waste a thing, and by the way are healthier and taste year. The specs are completely harmless, but also some of the blood spots actually could be an embryo, and some religions forbade the consumption of a developing embryo in a bird egg, so for those of you who observe such dietary restrictions, it might be good to give the egg to the dog or something. Other than that, all the specs are completely fine. A rotten egg looks horrendous. Really, I don’t think this man has ever in his life seen rotten food. Rotten food is just, absolutely morbid to see.

@@TomanekJan There's absolutely no difference other than age, and plant breed. I actually grow my own tomatoes, and they all have the slime around the seeds that turns a greenish brown color.... perfectly normal
in one of his videos he does in fact tell us he does not cook . pisses me off that he has so much to say about someone else cooking but he himself has no clue on how to cook anything , he made a comment once about mayo in a cake , like dude , mayo is literally oil and eggs and a bit of vinegar , literally the same things that go into cake , minus the vinegar of course . adding mayo to a cake mix makes sense if your out of individual ingredients . i have been cooking on my own since age 11 ( 43 now ) i think i know my way around the kitchen pretty well , but we all fall on hard times and may not always have the best food to eat , at least she is trying with what she has ! my dinner tonight consists of stewed beef with kale and green beans on a piece of bread with a little bit of pan drippings . i say stop critiquing food channels if you know NOTHING about cooking . ugh !
@@koji2277 what makes you say it isn't edible? The tomatoes were perfectly safe to eat, the seed color depends on breed and age of the tomato, the hot dog was completely normal, the pepper was fine too, the eggs were perfectly safe to eat, those brown spots are ruptures of the blood vessels during the formation of the egg and usually appear on farm eggs...yes, the end product doesn't look very aesthetically good but is perfectly fine. The juices on top of the omelette are there because of the veggie juices...calling it unedible is an exaggeration. Food doesn't need to look perfect in order to be edible.
Tomatoes: perfectly fine Hotdogs: perfectly fine Peppers: perfectly fine Eggs: perfectly fine Combination of ingredients: acceptable August: *this is literally the worst thing I've ever seen*
I mean, it isn't finished cooking, but you're right. It just looks a little gross when there's still raw egg on top. All she had to do was cover the pan for a couple of minutes and it would have been fine.
@@oyabun9650 he literally cooks, if you’ve watched his other videos he did say he does cook, anyways personally I wouldn’t eat this, it looks just wrong
August the eggs are just fine. You've obviously only cooked with flavorless store bought eggs. Fresh eggs look a whole lot different, and are much better. This one is actually just fine in every aspect.
The only part that wasn't fine was that she didn't get all the raw egg cooked. There's quite a bit of beaten, uncooked egg left on top. Which is gross.
@@mommy2libras A lot of people prefer their eggs very soft to runny. And there are a lot of recipes that involve raw eggs (that never get cooked). In many countries in Europe (and other parts of the world) eggs are pretty save to eat raw.
I actually like this recipe. Think I will make an omelette like this. So it is 👍👍on this recipe for Kay. I think Kay did a good job of preparing this recipe too.
I love your videos on Kay's cooking! I'm a cook and I would like to clarify some of the things that you commented regarding the ingredients she used; yes cutting a hot dog diagonally provides a larger surface to roast therefore it will be more flavorful, the tomatoes were perfectly safe to eat, there are a lot of "breeds" that have green colored seeds, and lastly the brown particles in the eggs appear due to the rupture of a blood vessel during the formation of the egg, that or just protein particles, perfectly safe to consume. When eggs go bad the smell is insufferable. Lol! Hope that helps! Sorry if i mispelled something English is not my mother language. That's one ugly "omelette" tho 🤣
He unfortunately comments on food (ofc shitty, but not due to what August says) without basic knowledge of cooking, so we acutally get two worst cooking videos in one, stonks.
@@LosianOne Yeah, I've noticed. I still enjoy his videos and his sense of humor makes me laugh, but I recognize he doesn't seem to know about cooking (he admitted to it). I love August! But I think Kay is a lovely woman trying to improve her cooking skills and is not fair to treat her like she's a complete idiot who can't tell when an egg is rotten or not 😬
I’m 95% sure she knows that no one’s going to follow this as a tutorial, but she makes it because she’s passionate on becoming a better cook, and to a certain point I admire the dedication!
Honest question... Do you even cook, August? I'm not trying to be rude, but it shows. Those tomatoes were not rotten. They were actually almost perfect to cook with! The reason why it may seem like there's so much juice in them is because of the way she cut them. She has a dull knife, so it kinda squishes more than cuts. And the brown specks in the egg are completely normal, and show that the eggs came from a farm, not a "industrial farm", if that makes sense. Those specks are from burst blood vessels, or scabs in where the chickens produce the eggs.
His channel is lame now as all he does is pray on her channel for content. She obviously loves what she's doing even though it doesn't look appetizing and when all he does is beat a dead horse over and over again it's lame. Also his voice is annoying AF now to me lol *#UNSUBSCRIBED*
Been saying this for months. Sure, lots of these channels produce...awful products...but so many things he critiques in these videos are pretty standard or more niche cooking techniques and recipes. He's definitely no cooking expert lol
I get the impression Kay grew up in a poor household where food had to be whatever they had on hand, her mother likely trying to make the best of it. She probably had to do the same. With a proper cooking education she could likely improve. She's no Momma Cherri(the one UK Kitchen Nightmares chef where Gordon Ramsay actually liked the food) but could get there with the right push. Unlike Jack, who is too arrogant & stupid to ever admit he's not perfect. If you tried to instruct him I'd imagine he would reject it.
You're right, i feel like she was self taught and noone ever really tried to teach her legitimate cooking, looking her cutting skills its obvious she doesn't know those basics
@@summonersriftgarbage4426 Yes, I get that, but she often says she's following recipes. Then she totally ignores them. For example...she didn't have balsamic vinegar...so she used soy sauce to make pizza. Why start to cook if you don't even have the ingredients?
The black spots in the egg are "meat spots" or "blood spots" they happen from time to time in hens. These eggs are normally removed during packaging for aesthetic reasons, but I guess sometimes some get through quality control. They are perfectly safe to eat regardless.
@@ajurado800 was about to comment that too, if she has someone who sells eggs near her at a farm it’s normal the eggs have those spots sometimes. What would a American know about fresh ingredients anyway…. They think Whole Foods is fresh 🤭😂
Alright I gotta comment on this. Franks brats and Hot Dogs are NOT the same thing. The reason I think that is because back in the US, unless u buy your sausage from a butcher, all Supermächte sausages are similar. I live in Germany where all these Sausages are originally from and you can DEFINITELY taste a significant difference. What Kay is cutting up is not a frankfurter btw.
Almost anyone in the uk could tell you this wasn't a frankfurter. He made so many incorrect criticisms, and didn't even pick up on the fact this reconstituted mess is a simple American style hot dog
Compared to some other questionable meals she makes, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this one. Just because he doesn't like hotdogs, doesn't mean the omelette is gross.
Nothing wrong with them at all, but he makes it sound like they were found rotting on the freeway for weeks. Telling lies for views and to make fun of someone == bad person. He is a very bad person for that.
Those tomatoes aren't rotten, some varieties actually look like that inside. I've actually bought small tomatoes like that before and they're actually really tasty, and this is coming from someone who isn't a huge tomato fan. As for the rest of the recipe... yeah it looks pretty gross.
I'm guessing you haven't seen many of his videos before. I haven't seen that many myself, but I noticed a trend. Every single video he complains about something that's not even close to being wrong, but makes it seem like the most wrong thing there could be. It's just telling lies for views, and making fun of people. It's a shame a youtuber would stoop so low. That's why I'm not a subscriber, but his damn videos keep coming up in my recommended feed anyway.
I have to strongly disagree with this one Duck. Nothing about this dish looks bad. I used to do a quick egg scramble with chopped hotdogs all the time. For the 100th time nothing is wrong with those tomatoes. I understand your judgement is being colored by the fact you hate hotdogs but maybe at some point try the ol' cooking thing for your self it's not as impossible as what Kay sometimes make it out to be or just go to the grocery store and pay attention to the many kinds of fruits and veggies there are for offer. At my store there are 4 to 5 different kinds of tomatoes....crazy I know. Hell! Ask a chef can you shadow him and learn something before blindly hating on Kay when she done something not harmful for once. That juice is from the veggies she put in the eggs, vigges can make a lot of water when you heat them up if you don't cook them before hand and drain them. I don't know Duck, you are being pretty mean in this. I feel Kay did not earn your ire this time!
UHHMM ARE YOU AWARE THE EGGS ARENT COOKED ALL THE WAY!!! THAT COULD KILL SOMEONE! Yet you're here writing a whole paragraph...if you'd eat that I'm afraid of what you wouldn't eat.
@@Nyxworld_. there are some methods of cooking eggs that don’t require cooking them completely. Eggs that are pasteurized don’t require complete cooking so it’s safe to half boil them for example. Although the end result of Kay’s cooking is rather…unappealing.
Also that omellette actually looks pretty damn good. This is probably the best thing she's made yet. The only thing that omellette needed was some cheese
seriously I was thinking the same thing, she's improved a lot with her cooking skills. Seems like people just want to make fun of her just to make fun of her at this point...
I thought the raw egg goo all over the top WAS cheese until Lee ate it, since he doesn't eat cheese for reasons unknown to doctors. Cook it a little longer, WITHOUT the hot dog in it, throw on some cheese, and I'd try it.
Absolutely one of the funniest straight out of the gate! Three minutes in and the sound of the sword going into a sheath every time she takes a slice it’s just too much. So good!
Uhm, I highly disagree about comparing a hot dog to a bratwurst. Two totally opposite sides of the spectrum in my book. I'll eat a hot dog on occasion when I'm starving and there's absolutely nothing to eat, and they're already cooked right there in front of me, and I slather it in enough A: Ketchup or B: Beans and cottage cheese, to mask the hot dog flavor lol. However, a nice beer bratwurst, or a chedderwurst on a Hawaiian roll, maybe add some sautéed onions and mushrooms to the mix, mmmmmm. That right there is nice. Still not sure how you can compare a hot dog to a brat. You haven't had the right brat if you're comparing the two things like that. Just sayin. 🙃
Lee being the good son is sweet and nice, but I think he is a bit more sinister and knows if he stays on mom's good side , he will be sole heir to all family fortune, the Iron Maiden shirt collection.
I like you august, but alot of the things she does seems ok to me😅. The tomatoe seemed fine to me and the eggs usually have those little specs in farm raised eggs. I love farm eggs. The peppers and everything looked good. Egg mixture seemed pretty ok too. If she wouldve salt and peppered it at the end or something i bet it wouldve been great. Just not cooked so long and hot. Otherwise, she did pretty good.
Actually that thing needed to either be cooked a LOT longer, but on much lower heat, or flipped so the rest of the raw egg could cook. In my opinion there's not much worse than runny eggs. Some people like shoveling raw snot into their mouth, but not me. I like my eggs fully cooked, which is why I always flip my omelet and let it cook another 30-60 seconds on the other side before sliding it on a plate with a fold in the middle.
@@ragged2233 Nobody asked you to be a troll either, but there you go doing it anyway. The comments section is for viewers to express their opinions. My opinion is eggs should be fully cooked because the texture of undercooked eggs is like having a mouth full of snot. That's just nasty.
Honestly as someone who did not always have proper food growing up, this kind of "throw in every shit from the fridge and crack an egg on it" honestly works if you are blindfolded lol But honestly what my mom used to make also had these ingredients and it was generally tasty
The tomatoes weren't rotted and neither were their eggs. I mean this isn't for anyone but this omelette isn't so bad. She could of cooked it more but you act like this is her worse dish... this is probably her best 🤣the slimy could of been the cheese... but dude many countries do this...ie I am Hispanic and my mom has made a somewhat similar concoction just more flavor. COULD WE SEE YOU COOK SOMETHING?????🤔🤔🤔
Actual scientist here not a hot dog specialist but I do have an explanation for increased flavour from cutting the hotdog on a bias. The answer is increased surface area of the filling and the maillard effect. It is the filling of the dog which provides the flavour not the skin/casing thus cutting on a bias exposes a larger surface area of filling. The flavour is further enhanced in the cooking of the dog through the maillard effect, I shall not get into the rather complex chemical reactions that take place but in simple terms browning the filling from frying in the pan elevates the flavour of the filling. With more surface area exposed and browned you therefore get more flavour than if the dog were simply cut perpendicular.
Cutting it on the diagonal = more surface area to brown, and as we all know, browned food = more flavor. I wouldn't say it that could help in this particular case tho, it needs to be but on a sharper, more severe angle to make much of a difference 😅
Honestly, this isn't that bad. I'd say this is actually pretty good considering some of her recipes. The tomatoes are perfectly fine, that's what tomatoes look like on the inside. The eggs are also ok. If eggs go bad, you'd notice. Even Kay would notice. It feels like he wants this to be bad for his video, but it just isn't. The eggs do look a little undercooked, yes. But it's far from being disgusting or inedible.
People eat soft boiled eggs and soft yolks all the time. Ain't nothing wrong with this egg at all. The juices at the end are coming from the veggies, as they are still not fully cooked.
@@bluespectrum1348 That wasn't a soft yolk, that was raw egg white. True, some people like the feeling of snot in their mouth when they eat raw egg whites, but not me. @@eric_d the slimy look in the final product wasnt raw egg white but undercooked veggie juice. How can I tell? Both yolk and white are totally mixed up by using a fork, when Kay drops It into the pan, you can see it's an homogeneous yellow mixture. If it were undercooked, the final product would've had that liquidy yellow mixture, not transparent liquid on top. The liquid came from the veggies. Hope that helps!
@@bluespectrum1348 Yes, the whites and the yolks were mixed together, but they firm up at different temperatures. The slimy stuff I was looking at, which WAS a "liquidy yellow mixture", was 100% undercooked egg. I eat many times more eggs than the average person, and can tell when I see undercooked eggs. The bottom looked like it was starting to burn a little, which is why I said in one of my comments that it should have been cooked much longer at a lower heat, or preferably flipped and cooked 30-60 seconds on the other side to finish cooking the egg completely.
with the eggs im pretty sure they’re fine, its just a little something called blood spots. They are harmless and are just more common in brown eggs, also the weird colour of the egg mixture is just because some eggs have variations in yolk colour that could make it look kinda off
Spoiler alert: those tomatoes are fine. And this looks like the best thing shes made, I would eat anytime. Only needs onion and cheese. The eggs do look undercooked, but that's an easy fix.
This honestly looks like a "put whatever is left in the fridge that is somewhat compatible in a dish" dinner that would perfectly do the trick ! I myself sometimes put hotdogs into stuff (including omelette). I agree they're not the best, but they're cheap and don't taste too bad when used correctly. A bunch of potatoes, onion and sliced hotdogs fried in a pan with a sauce or litteraly as an omelette is good, cheap and easy to make. Perfect for my freelance working ass when I forget about dinner and only realise it at 9 PM when I'm tired after working on something for 10-12 hours straight.
for me as a german it's nearly an insult to see this lady naming this hotdog a frankfurter and then throwing it into the pan like a piece of sh*t! You have to grill this until it's completely brown, pls!
Yeah, real frankfurters you want that glorious brown coating. And you don’t waste such wieners putting it in egg of all things. They only belong, nestled, into a beautifully soft bun with mustard and sauerkraut.
“Its whatever I said it was.” - Literally everyone in middle school ever. Lmao Gotta love that she quickly forgot the 3 ingredient dishes name. The dish being literally named after the main ingredient. 🤦🏼 I love Kay so much. She’s a sweet lady, has a good heart and soul. But the Geneva convention is gonna declare that a w.O.m.D lmao
2:00 Kay's not totally wrong Cutting the hot dog at an angle is going to create a flat, elongated oval surface. That means more contact with the pan (and more flavorful browning) than the smaller circle you'd get cutting the hot dog at square angles. One could argue that the improvement would be incidental, but you'd still be developing more flavorful compounds even if you can't tell the difference.
1. American hot dogs ("glizzys") are absolutely not the same as a sausage or a bratwurst. Hot dogs have a thin casing with a smooth pink-cured interior (a farce), while bratwursts are thicker, have a tougher, snappier casing and have a more coarse ground interior, which in my opinion is a better tasting experience. That being said, Kay is definitely using what us Americans would call a "hot dog" here. August must have only eaten boiled hot dogs as a kid or something. 2. Kay did slice the "frankfurter" correctly, but the slices are extremely thick and she barely got color on them anyway. 3. The to-mia-to Kay used is perfectly safe to eat, she just used the dullest knife possible and didn't cut it with proper technique, so she ended up squishing all of the seeds and juices everywhere. 4. The color of the eggs seems fine, Kay's just filming with a 2006 camera under yellow fluorescent buzzing lights.
Lol I think August is just not familiar with U.K. foods. They are very normal tomatoes and eggs for us. Maybe u need to remember that eggs are for hatching chicks 🐣
He's not familiar with food in general. I'm from the US and those tomatoes are completely normal. Eggs are another story here as they are almost all mass produced and refrigerated so I will give him a pass there as a lot of Americans have never seen a farm fresh egg.
Tomatoes were fine August. They were just juicy ones. Which some people prefer them juicer than crunchy. Also she had a dull knife so it squished the tomatoe as she cut it
The nastiest? Are you sure you're not saying that because you really hate hotdogs? ...Because this is the most edible and well-cooked thing she has ever made, nothing was wrong with the tomato or eggs at all. While it wouldn't be my favorite thing ever, I'd eat it voluntarily if I was hungry.
i would honestly love that finger guard for chopping onions and herbs! i chop a little too fast am a little too clumsy. that tomato is just kinda over ripe. its not bad and she just kinda has a dull knife. the peppers look fine and the color of the vid could just be blamed on the camera quality. though, she could have flipped it and cooked it on the other side instead of burning the bottom.
@@Lovehandels hes ignorant and wants to be angry. thats litterally the only rational explanation. he doesn't know shit, but he wants to be pissed off anyway.

everything there is fresh ! August doesn't know anything about cooking or how to tell ripeness of foods . there is nothing wrong with the tomatoes or the bell peppers they are fine , she has never used questionable ingredients .
I love your commentary, but the tomatoes were ripe and good to use and it's perfectly normal to find these little specs in eggs. The reason the tomatoes look like they are oozing brown is actually the fact the seeds are more on the green side and when you see that mixed with the red, it ends up looking brown.
Hey August there is a dish called Jom-Bort that is made. It contains onions peppers a pack of Kosher hot dogs sliced & tomatoe sauce cooked 1/2 hour on top of stove. When done serve on French Bread. It's really good.
The Tomatoes aren’t rotten, those a cocktail tomatoes, they are supposed to be like that. ( actually I always use them because they taste way better) You Americans probably only know the cheap tomatoes from Macdonalds 😅😂
August you are roasting a simple woman who somehow love to cook and have confidence to put those on youtube with her face. You should roast those people who hide behind a duck.
She literally has to saw through a hot dog. Lady, you seriously need to invest 20$ on a decent knife. The hell anyone doing with that knife? You couldn't even threaten a stick of butter with it.
the thing about cutting hot dogs into elongated diagonal slices is that it gives more surface area for the sauces to attach to, it doesnt increase the flavor of the hot dog, it just makes it easier for the hot dog to get covered in whathever you're cooking it with giving it more material and therefore more flavor, not because the cut enhances the hot dog, its literally just a bigger portion
Did you seriously just elude that when you cut open a tomato and it has juice and seeds it shouldn't be eaten? This is now the second vid of yours that the criticism just makes NO sense and shows you have no basic understanding on things so they shouldn't be spoken upon. 🤷♀️
leave this poor lady alone. She's just trying to make videos on her perspective of food, like it may not seem appealing to you, but it could to her. If she watched this video I can imagine how she would feel.
@r21367 , there are hundreds of channels criticising her cooking (rightfully) so if he stops making videos about her that doesn't make the other channels stop
Those eggs are not bad eggs. Those little dots are normal in eggs, also bad eggs are green on the inside and smell horrendous, not to mention bad eggs explode when they hit the pan because of the gases from decomposition. Also the only thing wrong with the tomatoes was the way she cut them. But yes that Omlette did indeed look horrible, and Kay is not a very good cook.

💀💨💨
You have even more surface area if cut them perpendicularly but with smaller chunks, this way it is much more grilled. But depends on the personal taste of course. But agree, that in this case it makes sense to cut them diagonally
it also doesn't matter when it comes to a hot dog

I just prefer frying the sausages seporate from the omelet because it looks better that way in my opinion, but taste wise it really not that bad
Key's presentation might not be the best that's all
I'll still do something similar with leftovers or the last of the peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. Instead of making an omelette, I'll fry everything together to make a hash, then serve it with a yolky fried egg on top.

It's been 7 months and August still haven't seen a slightly green tomato before this video.

Please keep making these. She has SO MUCH content to work with. This series is incredible.
for me as a german it's nearly an insult to see this lady naming this hotdog a frankfurter and then throwing it into the pan like a piece of sh*t! You have to grill this until it's completely brown, pls!
it is ok it was a hot dog from a can rather than a frankfurter, so it is precooked processed pulp rather than actual meat
Yeah, real frankfurters you want that glorious brown coating. And you don’t waste such wieners putting it in egg of all things. They only belong, nestled, into a beautifully soft bun with mustard and sauerkraut.
August, this was your most american video ever
“Its whatever I said it was.” - Literally everyone in middle school ever. Lmao
Gotta love that she quickly forgot the 3 ingredient dishes name. The dish being literally named after the main ingredient.
🤦🏼 I love Kay so much. She’s a sweet lady, has a good heart and soul. But the Geneva convention is gonna declare that a w.O.m.D lmao
2:00 Kay's not totally wrong
Cutting the hot dog at an angle is going to create a flat, elongated oval surface.
Also she had a dull knife so it squished the tomatoe as she cut it
Every time I here her say, “I’m back cookin again “ I take it as a threat!
Kay is my new "Lord of the rings" 🤣
I swear not every British person is like this some of us are actually good
i would honestly love that finger guard for chopping onions and herbs! i chop a little too fast am a little too clumsy. that tomato is just kinda over ripe. its not bad and she just kinda has a dull knife. the peppers look fine and the color of the vid could just be blamed on the camera quality. though, she could have flipped it and cooked it on the other side instead of burning the bottom.
Kay never fails to disappoint
Don’t listen to le Simpson I think he’s a bot
The ultimate superhuman: Kaylee: Kay and her DEATH-INFLICTING recipes, and Lee with his immunity to literally anything
She's the one who boils rice into a porridge, strain it with a colander, cook it with egg and calls it "Egg Fried Rice". Also feeds it to her son.
As a German, let me say bratwurst and hotdog taste nothing alike
As a non-Germen even I know this..wtf is he talking about?
@@Lovehandels or if we talk about Currywurst...
August is a sausage-racist that it.
@@Lovehandels hes ignorant and wants to be angry. thats litterally the only rational explanation. he doesn't know shit, but he wants to be pissed off anyway.
The worst part is that she’s so sweet and I want to give her a hug 😭
i am afraid of kay like she seems pretty cool but even with everyone reacting to her videos she doesn’t wanna follow a recipe at all 😭
She says she follows a 'recipe' but I honestly call BS
I actually feel bad for Kay, I think the reason she cooks crap is because that's all she can afford.
BRO... BRO. I hate sausages too, BUT don't you dare compare a Frankfurter with a hotdog. >_>
Haven't watched this yet but judging from the thumbnail, it's got to Kay's Cooking 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Honestly if this was made with fresh ingredients this might actually be edible. Like I wouldn’t make it, but I wouldn’t necessarily turn it down it down if someone I trusted made it for me.
I agree with you
everything there is fresh ! August doesn't know anything about cooking or how to tell ripeness of foods . there is nothing wrong with the tomatoes or the bell peppers they are fine , she has never used questionable ingredients .
@@snarky4lyfe144 never? I don’t know about that, she has definitely used questionable ingredients before
Wdym fresh ingredients lol
I have a feeling that august is exactly like critikal. They've both never touched food in their entire lives and have no idea how to cook anything.
This is your most L video. You were literally just nit picking
The Tomatoes aren’t rotten, those a cocktail tomatoes, they are supposed to be like that. ( actually I always use them because they taste way better) You Americans probably only know the cheap tomatoes from Macdonalds 😅😂
I put those in my salads alot. they're pretty good. and thats coming from an american. stop assuming all of us are uncultured hicks.
Yea don't put that on all americans
Hot dogs/sausage should be cut diagonally, yes, though at more of an angle than that. Thin cuts with higher surface area = more flavour.
The end result looks like something you’d make in… “starter school”
@les simpson shut up
Nah it looks like those play-doh food things that you made when you were like 2
Don’t listen to le Simpson I think he’s a bot
@les simpson k
Oml- can we just all agree that our eyes are burning?
Don’t listen to le Simpson I think he’s a bot
@les simpson what-
@@ericborjesson7575 prob
At least she knows what she’s cooking and uses kinda fresh ingredients unlike cooking with Jake where it’s already pre made 95 percent of the time
key word "kinda" fresh do you think 3 month old eggs are "fresh"?!!?
@@Nyxworld_. haha no
the thing about cutting hot dogs into elongated diagonal slices is that it gives more surface area for the sauces to attach to, it doesnt increase the flavor of the hot dog, it just makes it easier for the hot dog to get covered in whathever you're cooking it with giving it more material and therefore more flavor, not because the cut enhances the hot dog, its literally just a bigger portion
She may not have the Celtic cooking gene in her but I would feel safe with her by my side fighting off some Vikings. That finger shield is top notch.
Sssspppppfffttt there went a swallow of my Michelob Golden organic light
If you’re cooking on a budget this isn’t a bad meal. Lots of protein low carbs and low cost. Honestly I’ve done similar but not with hot dogs.
Did you seriously just elude that when you cut open a tomato and it has juice and seeds it shouldn't be eaten? This is now the second vid of yours that the criticism just makes NO sense and shows you have no basic understanding on things so they shouldn't be spoken upon. 🤷♀️
Dude. Yo yo I THINK that it's allude not elude but I could be wrong 😎✌️🙂
@@towanda2947 ah good catch! Thanks. I'm not going to fix it though. 😃
@@fuzzballcentral sorry about being a stickler there 🙂🕊️
Honestly, this is salt and pepper away from being a pretty decent breakfast
Dude that omelette was perfectly fine
When you realize both Kay’s cooking and Gordon Ramsay are British.
leave this poor lady alone. She's just trying to make videos on her perspective of food, like it may not seem appealing to you, but it could to her. If she watched this video I can imagine how she would feel.
It’s just a fun video. Relax.
@@marvelous7762 I mean, he’s covered over her channel and videos so many times it’s quite tiring.
Been going through and watch nearly every cooking with jack and Kay video and can safely say I'm still hungry ate through all the videos so far loving this duck 😅🦆
I love the fact that Kay wears an Iron Maiden T-shirt.
Breakin the law,.breakin the law!!!!!!😎
Kay's Cooking is like someone trapped in a doomsday bunker with limited ingredients and has to make do with what's available, but somehow she still f*ucks it up.
