Hi Jason, what would you recommend for sims racing (iracing and the like) I want a i9 processor, nvda 4090 (I hear the 5090 is coming soon) 64 ram and at least 10 usb ports. Many thx
Hi Jason, I just found your channel (unfortunately, after Cyber Monday). I have a 4 year old HP ENVY general use desktop. It runs Windows 10 and the motherboard is not capable of upgrading to a processor that will run Windows 11. I could wait until next September to look for a new PC, but I'm concerned that prices will jump up if/when the new administration enacts tariffs on imported products. Although I currently don't play any games, computer, Xbox, Playstation, etc, I just retired this week and will now have to fill my day with things to do. Gaming may be one of those things? That being the case, since I need to get a new computer before the prices go up, I thought I would buy one that would be able to play games should I decide to get into that. I watched your video and found it to be very helpful. I looked in your description and see that you have given one of the PC's which was not mentioned in the video 2-flames. I think the PC you did mention (Ruby) is sold out everywhere, that is probably why you updated the list. I have put the CyberPower Ryzen 7700 / RX 7900 GRE 16GB (Faster than 4070 Super) / 32GB / 240mm AIO in my cart. This is a little above what I planned to spend, but it seems like you feel it is a good PC for the money, so I think this is the one I'll get unless you have found a better one for the same money since this posting. I WILL be coming back to your channel frequently to check out what new information and products you are sharing. I don't like to subscribe to channels because I can't stand getting notifications. Thank you for doing what you do !!
All my PCs in last 25 years were prebuilt. Yesterday I built one myself and it was great experience. It's actually only stage 1 with bare minimum, currenly running Ryzen 7600 with stock cooler and integrated graphics, so it's just to use it casually, but eventually 9800x3D goes in, AIO cooling, dedicated GPU and we'll be talking serious gaming. Can't wait.
The only issue I had with Skytech is their RAM. It says 32gb of RAM but the CL speed is not typically top of the line. I bought one 2 years ago and found out the ram (16gb) was very basic and rather than 3200mhz, it was 2444mhz. Did it work for the PC, yes, but it was not what most would have expected. I had to upgrade it to 32gb, 3200mhz, CL16 ram in order for my gaming to actually be stable enough to run. They also tend to skimp on the SSD/NVME quality as well. My only recommendation would be to try and leave a little space for quick upgrades to RAM or NVME. Otherwise, I would say Skytech is a reliable company that will provide somewhat decent prebuilds.
I picked up a Y50 PC from Build Pro PC, and the black friday sale made it an easy decision. It's under $1500 and has a Ryzen 5 7600x, RTX 4070, 1TB NVME, and 16GBs of DDR5 6000 RAM.
Prebuilt will be good for the non builder. That's how I started back in 2003 and once I began to open up the case and upgrade little by little is how I learned in 2004 to build my own pc
Literally no difference if you build your own or buy a prebuilt pc, where I buy prebuilt pc you can choose all the parts you want on the website and they will just put it together for you, so literally no difference than you getting everything and then go on 5 hours to build it.
To those considering pre-builts versus building one yourself, I support your choice, but you have to watch Jason from PC Builder to get the most out of your money. He knows these parts like the back of his hand and talks about them often enough in his videos to have each one memorized. He’ll provide value for your dollar every time-I promise you. I copied his 5950X build from one of his older videos a few years ago, and I’m still using it as I type this comment. He knows his stuff.
@GRIGGINS1 I think you missed the point of my comment. Basically, I was saying that Jason knows these PC parts really well because he makes videos about them over and over again. He’s memorized the performance of each component and also remembers their prices. This allows him to analyze the specs of pre-built PCs and tell his audience-especially those who don’t want to build their own PCs-which ones provide the best value for their money. Jason has this knowledge because he’s memorized the power and price of nearly every PC component as part of his job.
Folks if your buying a prebuilt gaming pc as a gift. Do yourself and your loved one a favor and have a microcenter build one for you. A legendary 7800x3d bundle is $599. Have a case, power supply, OS & GPU added. Theyll build and warranty the work....and youll likely be well under 2k. Walk out with an inccredible PC built on solid advice.
Sadly yes, microcenter is not everywhere yet. I do apologize for not including that in my comment. @orwellian- Microcenter is a distributor of electronics focused on computer parts. They also offer to build it for you. They are customer centric- They took my 13th Gen Intel chip back when they didn't absolutely have to .
Do you realize not everybody lives near a microcenter ? Nobody is driving across state lines just to build a pc to save $100-$300. Their build prices are insane too.
What specs/budget are you looking at mate? I wouldn't have thought it'd be that bad, AWD-IT, Scan and Overclockers might be worth looking at, I've not gotten a pre-built from a big company before so can't really speak for them but generally their builds seem decent for the money generally.
Do we. My 4090 I got a fresh deal on, I actually got hold of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and at the MSRP price took. Where are our prices double the price as you say. They’re actually cheaper over here if anything! 😂
I dont need to upgrade yet but your videos are very helpful for keeping up with the PC parts tech scene and deals. Every year around this time i watch your videos to see. I built my PC two years ago watching your videos. Very helpful.
This video was great, but the main thing that I learned is that if I plan properly and spend smartly (finding deals wherever, or getting a bundle from Micro Center), then I may get a better value building my own PC. (Of course I'll utilize this channel in planning that too)
Really wish there were more! But Nvidia has the prebuilt market dominated so for a prebuilt team green is likely going to be your only choice. Different from building one yourself for sure
Zack (ZTT) talked about that issue in a video a while back. He recommends AMD mostly for people building their own pc but his company only offers nvidia in their prebuilts because to the avg buyer nvidia has more brand recognition so the pcs sell better.
@@PCBuilderChannel question do you know website store to but best game prebuild pc something like skyforge with best cpu and gpu perticlury 4090 for 2000$ ?
Thanks to your GPU and CPU combos I went with a 7600x and a Radeon 7800XT. I almost went with a 7800X3D, which is overkill for a 7800XT. My last parts are arriving today for my first PC build! Your videos have helped me a lot!
Jason I'm disappointed that your only covering Nvidia GPU's when you've started in several video that AMD is the best bang for your buck for mid-range gaming. Are you doing a separate video covering the AMD GPU systems??
I don't like it either obviously but like we say in the GPU section Nvidia dominates the prebuilt market. Totally different recommendations when building yourself of course
Have been checking in and out of the channel for about two weeks now waiting for exactly this kind of video, and I currently have the ABS Aeolian M in my cart right now. Big thanks for all the knowledge you're out here spreading Jason!
Thanks for the video! Microcenter near me had a deal on for a 9700x + 32gb of RAM+ MSI pro wifi 650M board for the same price as a 7800x3d only lol. A little disappointed I didn’t get the best for gaming but I think that deal more than makes up for it
Just make sure you don't get a OEM, we go over what that means in the video and mention which ones are OEM. From there its just a matter of your budget!
Thanks so much, glad you're enjoying them! And good luck with your first build, very exciting--you got this! Be sure to check out our How to Build a PC and How to Set Up PC After Build videos for helpful tips ;)
And only buy directly from the PC Manufacturer. You get better deals from the SI directly. I recommend Skytech, IBUYPOWER and Alexander PC. Cyberpower is trash garbage.
I found MSI Aegis Z Gaming Desktop PC, AMD Ryzen 7 7700, GeForce RTX 4060, 32GB DDR5, 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Home, Aegis Z2 C7NUC-1207US for $1049 seems like a mind boggling deal. What am I missing?
Unfortunately the 4060 isn't a good GPU because of the VRAM.
Місяць тому
@@kelley09162 depending on what games you play these 8gbs of vram will serve very well. I recently upgraded from an rtx 2060 to a 4060. From 6gb to 8gb. And I was doing fine with 6
I am getting a new PC for the first time since 2016 this week or the next, and your videos have been super helpful. But why the lack of AMD GPUs? I'm Team Red, and going with a 7900 XT. 😁 I would say they are more performance for your money if you don't care too much about ray-tracing, and at least for more tight budgets I would go with them over Nvidia anyway.
Oh believe me I wish there were more AMD GPUs in prebuilts! But Nvidia dominates the prebuilt market so if its a prebuilt you're looking for you'll likely have to go team green. If you're building yourself absolutely Radeon is likely you're better choice
Thank you for this video, it was very informative. I plan on building my own but I really like the breakdown in the parts you did in the first half of the video.
Trying to buy in Canada is so annoying, creators will be like “it’s this price” and I’ll be like okay I’ll check it out, and the price is spiked simply because I’m in a different country 😒
I'm a newbie to PC gaming and definitely not young. Does this channel's community have experience with Steam OS and feelings on how it compares to Windows if you exclusively want to game and do some basic web browsing without all the bloatware?
Jus got a pre built from Walmart Black Friday: i5 13600kf 16gb ddr5 ram rtx 4060 and 1tb ssd for 699. I want to play 1080p high/ultra settings in fps games like cod.
Thank you so much for explaining what the "normal terms" are (LIke CPU, GPU, etc.) I've heard them all over the place but don't really know what they mean bc I'm new to all this.
Welcome, and you're welcome haha Thanks so much for tuning in! Check out our How to Pick PC Parts 2024 and How to Build a PC 2024 video for more detailed breakdowns :))
HP ProDesk 400 G9 small form factor with a 12th gen i7-12700, 2TB SSD, 64GB RAM for less about 950. The only thing I didn't get was the GPU, but I can buy that later after doing some research on what I feel will work best with the hardware I got. Cancelled the order. I was feeling pressure because the PSU can't be upgraded, much, and that would really limited the GPU I could get. I'm going to do a lot more research, playing with parts and prices to see if I can get an even better deal, this time with all the components that will make up the whole costume pc.
I can't recommend 13th or 14th gen Intel CPUs right now sadly. But if you are comfortable with them and know the situation it might be worth it. Lenovo is also OEM so keep that in mind
@@PCBuilderChannel I understand the cpu issue and oem is a bummer but im not gonna upgrade for a while and at that point i will be able to pull the gpu ssd and ram from the Lenovo and turn it into a storage machine also i plan on game develope ment along with gaming so intel offers more for me than amd right now
What gaming PC are you guys recommending for my son for christmas? Something in the cheap to mid range for price. He plays roblox and fortnite. Also GTA.
That good news is these are easy to run games. So it really depends on your budget. The 1440p midrange options linked in the description around $1k would be fantastic for this
Hey Jason should I shy away from the pre build pc on new egg that are $1000 plus discounted? I seen one that was originally priced at $3000 for just under $1000! Seems like a scam!
Can I ask why the amazon black friday discounts are so fricking terrible this year? There are nearly zero discounts on high-end GPUs or CPUs like 4070 TI Super or ryzen 7 7800x3d
I just posted a 4070 ti super deal today, but Nvidia often doesn't do sales unless it has to. The 7800X3D is still too in demand to go on sale. Generally sales revolve around parts they are looking to clear out. But we may still see prices keep dropping closer to the actual Black Friday.
This is I'm sure a stupid question for you guys. But, im really new when it comes to pc gaming.. Would a 1080P be better than a ps5 console? Im considering getting into pc gaming and currently I'm playing on a ps5 and i obviously want an upgrade. I'd like to go 4K if not too expensive.
Not a stupid question. The gaming experience on PS5 vs PC is very different so that's your first choice. Then of course a pc can do a lot more than a PS5. A 4k gaming pc is going to be way more powerful than a PS5 though PS5 can also do 4k. You might want to check out our Best 4k Gaming Monitor video to get a sense of what system will get you what kind of fps
Guys if you're going to get a skytech PC, especially with the king 95 montech case, just know that that thing is huge! Much wider than your regular ATX case so budget for the room you'll need 🤣 but you will love it best looking case I've ever owned! Also as a side note I appreciate Jason telling people not to skimp out on cooling. You think you can but trust me you don't want to make that mistake!
Gotta ask i am researching now for a month to build my first pc and I am a bit confused why u didnt mentioned the 7700 Xt as GPU and the 7500f as CPU since i heard they both pretty decent. the other thing is i have some slight inner conflict on my build, since i am looking for a build that is around 850-1050 USD i have considert following build a ASRock A620M Pro RS WiFi , a MSI Pro B650-S WiFi or a ASUS Prime B650M-K as Motherboard the AMD Ryzen 5 7500f as CPU with a ENDORFY Spartan 5 ARGB CPU Cooler 32 GB DDR-5 ram with 32CL got a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 M2 for 100USD probally a 750w from be quiet! and for the GPU i am considering a 4060 or a 7700 XT but i am unsure about the GPU and motherboard since there is alot of leeway i feel like. I am looking everyday for a good deal to get a cheap version of the parts i picked like on the M2. would bee nice if u guys could give me some feedback on the things i picked (i am playing on 1080p)
This is a prebuilt pc video, for building your own the recommendations are quite different (; Hop over to our 7600X build guide, I'd use the same list with a 7500F (which isn't available in my market)
Thanks for all your videos. What was the reason that the CyberPower PC dropped off the list? It was the Walmart Black Friday AMD Ryzen 7-7700 Radeon RX 7900 GRE 16GB - 32GB DDR5 2TB NVMe SSD.
skytech seems to have the best deals on the mid and high end prebuilds. Thanks for this video. I've been planning a new build for end of next year but have had some health issues pop up that have messed with my hands and vision so I don't trust myself to build on my own and have been looking to get a prebuilt instead.
I have same problem with vision and disability. I was gonna go pre-built but change my mind. Just gonna order all the parts and have nearby PC shop assemble for me.
Probably not no, and it really depends on what GPU its paired with to. But there are really good 7800X3D and 7700X deals out there right now so hopefully people will look at those
@ little late but amazon originally price was 620 brought to 672 ish with tax but with a 80$ coupon brought it down low getting at 7900xt at just under 600$ is a amazing purchase
Hey Jason, I dont know, if you will see my comment but if you will, leave me a comment please. I made two builds for my friend to give him a decision. He wants over 300fps in cs2 with his peferred cpu i5 12600KF - his budget is 800€ so I gave him two possibilities. 12600KF + RX 7600 (168€ + 281€) or 12400F + 7600XT (117€ + 359€). What do you think about that? He choose his processor :D So first one. The price of builds is the same - around 800€ . I think, its much better the second one, but he also play World of Warcraft.
Yes! Waiting till I think we've hit the true Black Friday deals on most of the parts. But in the meantime check out our Best Builds October. I think it will be similar prices (that one was over Prime Day) and similar recommendations
@ paid 3800 but as long as the specs are good that’s the important thing. Its my first pc and I been watching this guys videos on specs I wanted 4090 but had to settle for 4080 super.
@@Trackhawk_light then you unfortunately overpaid. If you're paying that much it should have a 4090 in it. I'm guessing you paid for the Corsair Brand.
That budget is right on the line between a strong AM4 build with a 5600X or 5700X3D or a 7600 (7600X). Start with our "Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024" to see your options
Hi Jason, i got the ASRock Phantom Gaming D OC Radeon RX 6800 XT 16 GB Video Card 2 years ago when i built through your guides. I noticed the 6800XT isn't in your new gpu related videos, why is that? Did it turn out to not be a good card, or is there something related to the current available versions being junk? I'm back to build my friend a pc (: Apologies if you've mentioned this before, just curious is all. Thanks!
Its a great card its just almost completely sold through. No longer available at all in most markets and only one model left new in the US last I checked
Lots of love for it! Its just almost never found in good prebuilts. See the section of the video on prebuilt GPUs. The prebuilt market is absolutely dominated by Nvidia I'm afraid. If you are building your own pc we have completely different recommendations and you should check out our Black Friday GPU video!
My 4070 ti already seems outdated for 1440p. I think I’ll get a 80 series GPU from now on for headroom probably wait for the 5080 super hopefully it has 20 GB vram
Thanks for the headsup! Stuff is selling through fast. Im doing a quick restock of the links for the best current deals so if you want to give it 10 minutes then check the page again I'll have it updated for you (:
Bought the ABS Orkan Ruby you recommended during the prime day/newegg sales (Ryzen 7 7700x & 4070 super) and it’s been incredible for me I haven’t had any problems so far. Really appreciate your expertise
@ I play a ton of Hell Let Loose and get on average 160fps on all medium settings except anti aliasing and view distance on epic. OSRS Is consistent 360fps doing things like Vorkath or any skilling. TF2 is consistent 360fps at high settings even during intense MVM or casual lobbies. I only do the Precision Boost Overdrive and the hottest my pc will get is around 68-70° if I’m in a full intense lobby of HLL. My monitor is the AW2725DF 27in 360hz QD-OLED
Could you make a video about the best laptop deals?? I am currently thinking about getting the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (2024) but I am not sure if it’s a good deal
Check out Jarrod's Tech. He does Laptop Reviews and in the descriptions of his videos he includes a link to Laptop Deals which are updated daily. He may also make a Best Laptops Deal video but not sure.
You're at the right video! In the first few minutes we go over what to know. Then we have our picks at each budget level in the video and linked in the description.
I’m looking to get a pc from Amazon, is this a good deal: Skytech Archangel Gaming PC Desktop, Ryzen 7 5700X 3.4 GHz (4.6GHz Turbo Boost), NVIDIA RTX 4070 Super 12GB GDDR6X, 1TB SSD, 32GB DDR4 RAM 3200, 650W Gold PSU, 240mm ARGB AIO, Wi-Fi, Win 11 Home for 1499.99 please help I’ve been searching for one for weeks now
No. The 5700X is fine but it is on an old platform and bottlenecks the 4070 Super. I'd get this, heck of a steal iMO. Link is in the description. $1199 CyberPower Ryzen 7700 / RX 7900 GRE 16GB (Faster than 4070 Super) / 32GB / 240mm AIO / 2TB gen4 NVME
Hey man I need help, how much watts do I need for a 4060 ti 8gb and a Ryzen 5 7600. I only got 600watts psu is that enough?. Love your videos they are always helpful.
Hop over to our Best PSU 2024 video for how to calculate wattage. But also I really truly recommend you not get the 4060 ti 8gb. 8gb is only good for ultra budget 1080p builds that shouldn't be paired with a 7600. See our Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024 video for more on this
I really appreciate the Video but are there any recommendations that dont include a GPU as i have a 2060 super right now and want to upgrade to a 5060 mid 2025
@@PCBuilderChannel MY PC is lowkey too old to upgrade as im on DDR4, with a ryzen 7 3700x. But id be interested in Pre built Versions that exclude a GPU since i wanna replace the GPU later on
I wish I seen some of these earlier but I got a more expensive pc that was originally 1899 but it's my first pc. I'm hoping I didn't get the worse pc for my first gaming pc especially sense it's ddr4 😢 Skytech Shadow Gaming PC, Intel i5 14400F 2.5 GHz, RTX 4070 Super, 1TB NVME, 32GB DDR4 RAM 3200, 650W GOLD PSU, Wi-Fi, Win 11

Sold out with the Black Friday deal at Newegg yes. Those do tend to go fast. Its still at Amazon for more. Let me see if I can find another deal and pop that in
Nope I don't see another deal as good at the moment. The Amazon price is pretty darn good so that's my current top 4k gaming prebuilt recommendation. But I will keep an eye out and update the description frequently
Good morning Jason, Crew and Kitties!!, before building PC's was/is the thing i bought pre-built . . . my wife was a Gateway commando . . .but i soon found "OEM" bit you when it came to Gaming Pc's and not to mention bloated with programs! but, i understand why people would buy them. That's why we're here . . . i really appreciate you trying to help everyone to get into their system with their budget.
Thanks William! Obviously I love helping people build their own but sometimes that's just not possible for folks (or wanted which is fine too). Hope you are having a great week!
Hi jason , I got a msi b650 pro s wifi , and a ryzen 5 7600x with 32 gb ram 5200 from corsair . For some reason i cannot do pbo with curve optimizer cuz the i get crashes . Also i tried eco mode of cpu to lower the temperature and i got crashes in god of war ragnarok , what bios settings should i do to lower the temperature. I got a gigabyte 650w 80+ gold with a 7700xt.
Hop over to our After you build setup guide video and see if that helps! For more troubleshooting I recommend posting to reddit build a pc troubleshooting forum. Its a great resource
Crazy. I paid $1,500 in October for a i9 14900k with a 4070 ti super from Lenovo with the 360 aio. I decided to make my own build because i scored on a 7900 xtx. I got an amazing deal last month from newegg with a 32 gb ram, x870 board, and the 9700x. It is being cooled with a 360 aio and has crazy fan configuration. They both were purchased for the same amount and very satisfied with keep the 7900 xtx build.
Since the new amd 9800x3d is sold out would the 7800x3d bottleneck a 50 series gpu when they release or am I best off waiting for 9800, I'm considering the 5090 but may go 5080
9800X3D will also likely bottleneck the 5090 (as it currently does the 4090) so I wouldn't worry about that. Remember there will always be some bottleneck in your build the trick is to get the best possible combo. See our "Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024" video for lots more on this
Not that beat the current deals, remember the 9800X3D is only a small increase up from the 7800X3D. The ones that are out there with it so far are silly expensive. But I'll keep the description recommendation list updated as that changes

Im gonna upgrade when amd releases their Zen5X3D cheaper cpus and RDNA4. In facts that I find disturbing... all the people buying apple... overpriced, not upgradable, stuck on the apple ecosystem, weaker than pc conterparts... why would anyone buy this?? Apple is a cult. Literally no difference if you build your own or buy a prebuilt pc, where I buy prebuilt pc you can choose all the parts you want on the website and they will just put it together for you, so literally no difference than you getting everything and then go on 5 hours to build it.
@lookherelooklisten7850 what site do you use?
Welcome back to PC Builder!!!
Im Jason! (;
I’m the boss. ->
You get better deals buying directly from the Manufacture than from New Egg or Amazon. And you get better parts.
@edwin4625 it is still bad advice tell people to buy from New Egg. When you can literally save money buying directly from the SI.
Thank you Edwin so much for that, so happy to help the community learn, save, and build! Hope you keep enjoying all the content :))
Great presentation. Visually providing the data is much easier to understand. Likely the best video I have ever seen on PC buying options.
So glad it was helpful!
Only works if you have a Microcenter in the State you live in. And Most people don't have one in their State.
Sadly closest one to me is a 10 hour drive!
Whats a microcenter? I'm in Hawaii and looked up a few pc shops and they charge 250+ up to build someone's pc
Man the American prices makes me sad. :( I have to pay 2x for same specs here in the UK.
Frustrating!
What specs/budget are you looking at mate? I wouldn't have thought it'd be that bad, AWD-IT, Scan and Overclockers might be worth looking at, I've not gotten a pre-built from a big company before so can't really speak for them but generally their builds seem decent for the money generally.
Have you tried to tar and feather your tax collectors?
We make up for it when we go to the doctor
That's so great to hear! Very glad we can help and thanks for watching!
Just got a Skytech Azure 2 with a 7700x CPU and a 7800XT GPU and 32 gigs of Ram for $1400 total after taxes from New Egg.
Nice!
This video was great, but the main thing that I learned is that if I plan properly and spend smartly (finding deals wherever, or getting a bundle from Micro Center), then I may get a better value building my own PC. (Of course I'll utilize this channel in planning that too)
Building yourself is generally much better value yes (:
Not sure if I missed it in the video, but how come there not be any prebuilds with Radeon cards? Surely they'd be better value...
@@jamesisaacson6379 The 4090 already costs $2500 😂
Thanks to your GPU and CPU combos I went with a 7600x and a Radeon 7800XT. I almost went with a 7800X3D, which is overkill for a 7800XT. My last parts are arriving today for my first PC build! Your videos have helped me a lot!
Awesome, that's a great combo!
So happy to help!
Thanks for the video! Microcenter near me had a deal on for a 9700x + 32gb of RAM+ MSI pro wifi 650M board for the same price as a 7800x3d only lol. A little disappointed I didn’t get the best for gaming but I think that deal more than makes up for it
Good deal!
If I want to build a pc and enjoy vr ready gaming, and continue to customize and build over time. What would be recommended?
Starting with a prebuilt
Just make sure you don't get a OEM, we go over what that means in the video and mention which ones are OEM. From there its just a matter of your budget!

Got this pc yesterday and it has been amazing
It sounds like a great deal, though wouldn’t the gpu overheat? I would feel more safe with a 7800x3d
Don't buy form Cyberpower. It is not a good prebuilt company. And their PCs tend to be HotBoxes.
And only buy directly from the PC Manufacturer. You get better deals from the SI directly. I recommend Skytech, IBUYPOWER and Alexander PC. Cyberpower is trash garbage.
thanks for the help!
So glad to help!
I have had the same prebuilt for 5 years. I have absolutely no idea where to start 😅 None of these words make sense to me hahaa!

@@kelley09162 depending on what games you play these 8gbs of vram will serve very well. I recently upgraded from an rtx 2060 to a 4060. From 6gb to 8gb. And I was doing fine with 6
Absolute great deals here, with prices only continuing to drop with the 50 series cards nearly here
12th gen Intel CPUs are just fine! I went with a 12900k and it's a beast!

I'm going to do a lot more research, playing with parts and prices to see if I can get an even better deal, this time with all the components that will make up the whole costume pc.
on B&H the Lenovo 5i legion tower pc with a 4070ti super and an i7 14th gen is 1,500$ grab it up quick
I can't recommend 13th or 14th gen Intel CPUs right now sadly. But if you are comfortable with them and know the situation it might be worth it. Lenovo is also OEM so keep that in mind
@@PCBuilderChannel I understand the cpu issue and oem is a bummer but im not gonna upgrade for a while and at that point i will be able to pull the gpu ssd and ram from the Lenovo and turn it into a storage machine also i plan on game develope ment along with gaming so intel offers more for me than amd right now
Good recommendations, only issues I have are that 40 series pricing and availability are looking bad.
Things are selling out really fast its true!
What gaming PC are you guys recommending for my son for christmas? Something in the cheap to mid range for price.
He plays roblox and fortnite. Also GTA.
Are you looking for a Pre-Built or do you want to build your own?
That good news is these are easy to run games. So it really depends on your budget. The 1440p midrange options linked in the description around $1k would be fantastic for this
Hey Jason should I shy away from the pre build pc on new egg that are $1000 plus discounted? I seen one that was originally priced at $3000 for just under $1000! Seems like a scam!
Without knowing which one I can't say for certain but, look for the warning signs listed in this video. Is it a 13th/14th gen Intel CPU for example?
Can I ask why the amazon black friday discounts are so fricking terrible this year? There are nearly zero discounts on high-end GPUs or CPUs like 4070 TI Super or ryzen 7 7800x3d
I was looking for the same shit
I just posted a 4070 ti super deal today, but Nvidia often doesn't do sales unless it has to. The 7800X3D is still too in demand to go on sale. Generally sales revolve around parts they are looking to clear out. But we may still see prices keep dropping closer to the actual Black Friday.
By directly from the SI. Don't buy from third party retaliers.
Good tip!! (:
Gotta ask i am researching now for a month to build my first pc and I am a bit confused why u didnt mentioned the 7700 Xt as GPU and the 7500f as CPU since i heard they both pretty decent.
the other thing is i have some slight inner conflict on my build, since i am looking for a build that is around 850-1050 USD i have considert following build
a ASRock A620M Pro RS WiFi , a MSI Pro B650-S WiFi or a ASUS Prime B650M-K as Motherboard
the AMD Ryzen 5 7500f as CPU with a ENDORFY Spartan 5 ARGB CPU Cooler
32 GB DDR-5 ram with 32CL
got a 2 TB PCIe 4.0 M2 for 100USD
probally a 750w from be quiet!
and for the GPU i am considering a 4060 or a 7700 XT
but i am unsure about the GPU and motherboard since there is alot of leeway i feel like. I am looking everyday for a good deal to get a cheap version of the parts i picked like on the M2.
would bee nice if u guys could give me some feedback on the things i picked (i am playing on 1080p)
This is a prebuilt pc video, for building your own the recommendations are quite different (;
Hop over to our 7600X build guide, I'd use the same list with a 7500F (which isn't available in my market)

What percent of people buying a 9800x3d will actually “ notice “ the gaming gains at 1440p or 4k over a 7600x cpu. I am guessing none.

I agree the second is better due to the faster GPU with more VRAM. But either will be fine (:

So which one should i buy?
Depends on your budget and resolution goals!
Just saw the recommended specs for STALKER 2 and they’re absolutely bonkers. You literally fail on Epic settings if you have any last gen hardware.
Yikes!
Also Hi Dark! (:
is it good for fortnite?
All of these are good for Fortnite! It just depends on what resolution you want.
@@PCBuilderChannel 1080p and low settings
Since the new amd 9800x3d is sold out would the 7800x3d bottleneck a 50 series gpu when they release or am I best off waiting for 9800, I'm considering the 5090 but may go 5080
9800X3D will also likely bottleneck the 5090 (as it currently does the 4090) so I wouldn't worry about that. Remember there will always be some bottleneck in your build the trick is to get the best possible combo. See our "Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024" video for lots more on this
Canadian Funny bucks money makes me wanna cry.
No 9800x3d builds yet?
Not that beat the current deals, remember the 9800X3D is only a small increase up from the 7800X3D. The ones that are out there with it so far are silly expensive. But I'll keep the description recommendation list updated as that changes
@@PCBuilderChannel Man ok. I am looking for a WoW/heavy CPU load game build . No idea what to look for.
I don’t understand this pc talk😣
It can be a lot I know! If you want to learn more I recommend starting with our PC Parts Explained 2024 video for a nice general overview. Otherwise it really just boils down to your budget and what resolution you want to play at.
1080p 60hz gang forever.
(:
60hz is 🤮
bro i'll pray for u
Pfff... peasant
Bro it's ok to be budget and keep on 1080p and 60hz. But no, if you have the financial capability, go for higher you'll be very satisfied. May you upgrade very soon!
i wish there was a way to translate this to cave man language XD
It can be a lot I know! You can check out our PC Parts Explained 2024 video for a helpful general overview of PC parts. And remember it really boils down to budget so we do have our recommendations sorted by budget for you linked in the description
All the pc's he recommended sold out! haha
I just did a restock of the description links there’s some new great deals in there look for the fire emojis
Also another fact thats disturbing, somehow, intel still got 70% of the cpu market... what in the hell? People are just idiots.
