This disease and it's co-infections left my son nearly dead before it was diagnosed. He lost years of his life. He now has permanent damage to cope with for the rest of his life. No words. Really hoping people get help before it gets this far.

Got 2 ticks at the end of the May and found out 6 weeks later that I’ve a lyme disease and almost encephalitis. I took antibiotics three times a day for 3 weeks and i went to doc. After blood tests he told me that I still have lyme disease. Now he told me to wait a few weeks before going back because apparently my body is “fighting” it. Let’s see how it’s gonna go.

Went from competing in mma, as well as boxing, had sponsorships, and was really pursuing my dreams. Then, lyme happened, and it's been a wild ride. I have gained most of my weight back, but the constant headaches, joint and muscle pain, along with the severe depression has been almost unbearable. I was diagnosed at 19, I'm 24 now, and a year ago I was finally able to train here and there(I have kids, and work a full time job). Lyme taken so much from me, and the disease specialist just wrote me off. Their last option was prescribing me pain medication, but I refused. I know what that can turn into. Maybe one day they'll find a certain cure. All I can do now is keep pushing, and make sure to stay active. The more I try and relax, the lyme seems to flare up worse....never thought lyme was this serious....

I am currently 12, I have been diagnosed with lyme disease about 1 week ago. My mother has been begging my doctor for 6 years to test me for lyme, and they keep declining it. So, I switched doctors and went to another one to test me, I have lyme and it turns out I most likely have had lyme for 4-6 years...therefore it is incurable. I have to now take about 5-6 medications to help it, but the medications wont get rid of it. I also may have something going wrong with my heart and need to get it checked. It is very difficult because I have many, many symptoms. Nearly all lyme symptoms. It is terrible. And about those medications, they are awfully expensive. It can be $200-$600 each medication bottle...and I have to buy 10 because I need multiple of some.
Please spread awareness about how serious lyme is. Oh, and if you find a tick that has bitten you, take it and put it in a baggy. If you test that tick and it has lyme, youre in luck. Not because you have lyme, but because you know you have lyme right away and its early enough to cure it.

Do you want to talk privately? You need a lyme literate doctor. Basically a doctor who understands Lyme and is ok rebelling against CDC guidelines. CDC recommends 2 weeks of doxy. That did NOTHING FOR ME!!! Good God I’ve had pimples lasting longer than 2 weeks, how anyone can think that 2 weeks of doxy is enough, from a basic logic standpoint, is beyond me. My eyesight is so much better after treating. I can actually drive at night, even if it’s raining!! I thought i suffered form post hallucination disorder from LSD use in college but it was NOT THAT. It was a coinfection of Lyme called Babesia, which is a cousin of malaria. It also caused me extreme depersonalization and derealization. It’s a terrifying disease. Bartonella can also cause eye issues. Lyme doesn’t actually usually cause eye issues so it sounds like you have one of the very common coinfections as well. I would be happy to help you 💚

It depends on the person. Most people have coinfections as well. I am a CDC positive case for Lyme, Bartonella, Tularemia and Babesia. Undiagnosed for 25 years.
I had: 6 weeks of rifampin and mino, 3 months of IV Rocephin, 1 month of IV Flagyl, 6 months of pulsing zithro (MWF), 3 months of malarone, 2 months of tindamax, 3 months of disulfiram clinical trial and now starting dapsone and daraprim bc I’m not cured yet. The CDC guidelines are false and outdated.
After treating with all of that I no longer have: fibro, lupus, RA, MS, GERD, IBS, anxiety, depression, sciatica along with a myriad of other diseases/symptoms. There are over 300 strains. There is no one size fits all here. All of my friends have underwent different protocols. It’s an absolute shame and a disgrace the way the gov has handled it.

I had Lyme Disease for five years (2000-2005). In the summer of 2000 I got bitten by a deer tick and it gave me Lyme Disease. It bit me on my right inner bicep about three inches below my armpit. When I pulled the tick off he spat in my skin and it left a target bruise. The next day I went to my doctor and when he saw the target bruise he yelled "Damn! You have Lyme Disease!" He gave me an antibiotic shot and a prescription for the strongest antibiotic known to man (his words). After about three weeks I quit taking the antibiotic pills because they made me so sick at my stomach that I couldn't stand it. Along about that time I found out about the Hulda Clark zapper so I bought one and I used it to keep the Lyme Disease in remission. But when the symptoms would abate I'd stop using it. Then a couple of months later the symptoms would return, so I'd start using it again, and so on. I went back and forth like that for five years. But gradually the symptoms were getting worse.
Then in the summer of 2005 friend told me about the hydrogen peroxide cure for cancer and he suggested that I try it to see if it would kill the Lyme Disease. I was a little scared to try it, but I was feeling so shitty that I was willing to try anything. I did the three week procedure and it completely killed the Lyme Disease, and it never returned (doctors say that cancer is curable but that Lyme Disease is incurable. I proved them wrong about the Lyme Disease). The hydrogen peroxide cure for cancer will kill just about any disease (including AIDS). The only disease I know of that it won't kill is herpes, because herpes mixes with your DNA and becomes a part of you (so that in order to kill it you'd have to kill yourself). The procedure I followed is at this link:
    www.hps-online.com/hoxy.htm
I bought a pint bottle of the 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide at a healthfood store in Huntsville Alabama (Nature's Apothecary). You can probably find it at any big healthfood store. The brand I bought was Oxy-Tech brand, made by Eagle Enterprises in Whitney Texas. They have a website. So if you can't find it at a healthfood store you can order it online from them. I bought the Hulda Clark zapper from Tools For Healing in Chattanooga Tennessee. They have a website. There are several UA-cam videos telling about zappers and how to use one. If I was going to buy another zapper I'd buy the one with the gold plated contacts because you don't have to clean them before each use (the copper contacts get tarnished by your sweat and have to be cleaned off before each use). Tools For Healing has some pretty good info about zappers. There have been some testimonies by people who said that they killed their Lyme Disease with a zapper, but that they had to have it in contact with their skin all day and all night for a month. The zapper will also kill all of your intestinal parasites if you use it for a month like that. I think you may have to replace the battery after two weeks.

I live in Virginia, and even MCV will not see patients with Lyme Disease. They are a medical/research facility, so you would think that would be the place to go if you are a Virginia resident with good insurance. But no, I have been sick for 14 and 1/2 year, and the medical community is just one let down, after another. I just wrote a long summary of my Lyme history on the National Institute of Health UA-cam video about Lyme. They act like they are studying Lyme, and want volunteers. In the video, they are describing and depicting people who are having ticks taped to their bodies. I want treatment. The last thing I want is someone to attach a tick to my body. I don't care if they claim the ticks are not carrying Lyme. If they are studying Lyme, why are they having well people volunteer to have non-infected ticks attached to their bodies? The medical community should be ashamed for not treating people who have suffered for so many years. People resort to flying to Australia for treatment, or using every herb known to man, and buying books that tell you to order herbs from "their" website. I can barely make it from my living room to my kitchen. I can barely sleep and eat. My life has stopped in it's tracks. I feel so sad for anyone who is suffering from any disease. Lyme is called the "Great Imitator", but if you test positive for Lyme, you should be able to be treated, no matter how long it takes. I pray the medical community will find a successful treatment.

I live in California, I have never been bitten by a tick, but I am going to prepare ahead of time just in case, it appears that ticks are quite common here too.

    • @k-ro8639
      @k-ro8639 4 роки тому

@@legioxciicorvus5917 Thank you for your concern about Lyme Disease. I do not know how prevalent ticks are in California. They usually attach to people who are in wooded areas, or tall grassy areas. Deer are known for carrying ticks. Dogs can also pick up ticks, but there is a monthly treatment that owners usually apply to the back of the neck of their dogs that deters ticks. I was very careful when it came to walks in the woods. I stayed on paths, and used insect repellent. As luck or unluck had it, a tick ended up in my head. Three days later, I became very ill, with a high fever, the left side of my head and face hurt so badly, I could hardly stand the pain, and I overall, felt like I had the flu. Many people describe Lyme, as feeling like you have the flu. I went to my primary care doctor, was tested for Lyme, and the test came back positive. I was treated with Doxycycline, and found that I was allergic to it. I was then treated with Bactrim. I never really got well. I continued to suffer with fevers, on and off. I was chronically fatigued, and just felt badly. I pushed through life, as my 1st granddaughter was born one year into the disease. I took care of her all during her young life. I look back and don't know how I did it, but love takes a person a long ways. I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 29 years. It is an auto-immune disease, and I think it may have been the reason I never recovered from Lyme. Before Lyme, my only other health issue was RA. Since Lyme, I developed high blood pressure, 2 rare lung infections (never smoked), nervous system problems, Raynauds, neuropathy, anxiety and depression. I have seen three PC doctors, 2 infectious disease doctors, 2 lung doctors, a neurologist, and a psychiatrist. My story is long, but I have done everything I can do to get better. I have had many bouts of feeling like I had the flu, and the medical community has their hands tied, when it comes to treating "Chronic Lyme". There are 100's of studies out there in regards to Lyme, but a successful treatment, after antibiotics, has not been found. One of the infectious disease doctors I saw, wanted to treat me with IV antibiotics. She called the Centers for Disease Control, as doctors who see patients with Lyme are required to do so. The CDC would not let her treat me with IV antibiotics. A doctor in North Carolina was treating Lyme patients with IV antibiotics, and he lost his medical degree. It is disgusting when you finally think you are going to get the help you need, only to be let down. So many people suffer for years, without even having the Lyme diagnosis. Others have Lyme and continue to be sick in so many ways. They resort to many extreme measures. I read about it, and it overwhelms me. I do not have the energy nor money to go through some of the holistic, oxygen, magnetic, and other treatments. Since November, I have been housebound, and I cry a lot. I missed Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family. That has not happened in my entire 69 years. I can barely put one foot in front of the other, and I go to bed at night and pray not to wake up the next day. I just feel like if this is the way I have to live, I would rather die, go to heaven and be free of this dreaded disease. No one understands another person's suffering, but I tell people I feel like I have the flu, without a fever. Most people have had the flu at one time or another. It is a miserable way to have to live. This bout has stopped me in my tracks. I will try to find the person's message you spoke about. I hope this gives you some insight into what has been going on in my life. I have gotten to the point that I am sick and tired of being sick and tired, and frankly, I am tired of having to explain it to my family and friends. I have always been a happy, smiley person-all my life. I feel like I lived a blessed life, and I thank the Lord for that. Now, I feel like I am a broken person. It is hard to have hope, when I read and study, but still find no help. Again, I thank you for your kind words and concern. It helps to know that people care. I wish you happiness and good health for 2020.

I got lucky, I had an infected tick on me and less than a week later my immune system started fighting I caught it a week after and knew it was lymes disease but my parents refused to believe me they thought I was trying to get out of school. A month after the bite my left side went paralyzed and they thought I was going to have a stroke and finally sent me in. Turned out I was right but not until it was extremely late.

YOU CAN DEFEAT LYME! - --- I contracted Lyme in 2015 and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I couldn't walk, couldn't lift my arm, couldn't sleep and I was in severe pain 24 hours a day. Lyme is horrendous. After a few weeks in hospital the doctor's told me that they couldn't do anything. What saved me was Buhner's protocol. I read his book and then followed his protocol to the letter. I also devoured books on body chemistry and how the immune system works. When I told the doctors I was going to try and heal myself using herbs and a special diet they just laughed. Yeah well what else was I supposed to do?
It was a very slow process because first you have to reboot your immune system and second you have to fight the bacteria of which actually hides from your immune system - known as 'pathogenic bacteria'. What is different about the Lyme bacteria to other bacteria is that they eat the magnesium in your body whereas most bacteria eat iron. Without magnesium your muscles just can't work. Most antibiotics are made to protect the iron in your body but not the magnesium - that is why normal antibiotics fail against Lyme (if you wait too long).
Using Buhner's protocol I gradually began to improve. I won't lie, it was the fight of my life and took about one year to fully recover. Only when all the bacteria was gone could I then begin to build up my muscles again. Today I play golf and am an 8 handicap. Anyone who has Lyme - don't give up - your body can kill it. It takes a special diet, special herbs and sheer will power. If I ever contracted it again however, I don't think I could go through it a second time and would probably just end my life. That's how vicious it is.
If any one wants to actually hear my full Lyme story I made a video about it and posted it on my youtube space. I tell of what actually happened, how I defeated it and the consequences afterwards. Take care out there.

Legio XCII Corvus ⲟⲩⲱⲛϣ absolutely. It gave me MS! It’s gone now though. I can walk again yay!! I’m only 27 so was devastated initially. I also had lupus, RA, anxiety, depression, GERD, IBS and those are all gone now as well. It’s a migratory disease. Meaning it can attack your brain one day, then your lymph nodes the next. There are over 153 diseases/symptoms it can cause. In fact a large chunk of our community believes MS is caused solely due to Lyme and coinfections. That is a very controversial statement though and not enough research has been done, but if it’s true then that is FANTASTIC news!! It would mean MS can be cured and God it is so so terrible, wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Lyme disease and the many co-infections can be transmitted by most if not all biting insects. That includes spiders, mosquitoes, fleas and so on but you need to do your home work to find this out and so many other things about Lyme disease. Like this; all known living organisms are based from Iron, that is living organisms have to contain Iron to exist. But one thing breaks this rule, Borrelia burgdorferi also known as Lyme disease. Lyme disease is Manganese based. So, how can that be? Conspiracy thinking would lead you to believe Lyme disease is probably a biological creation or man made. I'm not trying to feed the fire on that but just bringing a fact for you to think about.

Possums love to eat ticks. Don't trap your possums, welcome them in your yards as tick eating machines. They have lower body temperatures than mammals, so they don't carry many of the viruses and infections that can afflict humans and our pets.

FIbro Myalgia is not a disease its a SYMPTOM of an underlying disease or illness. You very well may have lyme and/or chronic lyme and co-infections

Lyme disease is often misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia, please get a second and third and fourth opinion. Plus there is no treatment for fibromyalgia, they put you on anti-depressants or other psychotropics that failed the clinical trials for treating depression and mental illnesses. These psychiatric drugs have no place in treating a serious infection like Lyme disease!

If you have a history of tick bite that you can mention to your doctor OR you live in an area where Lyme has been found in humans previously and you spend time outdoors, your family doctor or primary care physician can order this test which is performed on serum (blood). The test is fairly inexpensive in most countries. Good luck and I hope you are well now.

Has anyone experienced or knows if hypoxic therapy is an effective supportive exercise a for Chronic Lime disease? I'm curious about alternative treatments and their real-world outcomes. Any insights or personal experiences shared would be greatly appreciated!
