- Ok, the animations on some of those spells are interesting. I never bothered looking at all of her artes on the Strike side. I like Holy Lance more than Ray tbh. She has a lot of buff spells, as to be expected of a healer. Her mystic artes are also easily accessible, which is nice. (Note, I did them in reverse order because Sacred Light one shots the enemy in this case.) Solos with Raine must be hell! I noticed that some of the voice clips aren't very audible at times. Not sure why the audio levels of some quotes are lower than others... :l

Yeah, it really caught me off guard when I first saw it, but it did save me during the fight with Kratos.
There's a comic where Raine uses the spell and Zelos grabs onto them 💀

She's like the most broken white mage ever. Sacred light does stoopid damage and can one-shot bosses, it's hilarious. Fairy circle fully heals the party gives stat buffs and damages all enemies.
Also, the animations for her s-type spells are so cool, too bad they're completely inferior to her t-type spells (with the exception of holy lance).
I've used AR codes so that all my chars have S-type and T-type Artes. It's so nice to hear Raine cast Heal and Revitalize

Anyway thanks for the showcase, I thought I was familiar with all of them but Permaguard was totally new. Lovely animation on that one too, what a shame I missed out

Sad they never gave her bloody lance, dark sphere and acid rain which were cut/beta spells and only accessible via hacking
Actually, if you make her element darkness, and have used Photon and Holy Lance 200 times, they become Dark Sphere and Bloody Lance.

No Raine No Game
The single dislike on this video (at the time of my typing this) came from Genis.
After seeing how much the Japanese actress projects her voice with Fairy Circle, it's disappointing how quietly it came out in the English remake.
yeah they really did a bad job of the sound work when it came to English version of the artes.
Dude a lot of those spells I've never seen in my life. I never liked too much how the TP system was implemented.

When your cast speed is too high, the voice lines are cut sometimes
this. Like, I’m pretty sure one of the AoE heals has an incantation of “mana, root of all creation, grant us thy breath of life”, but I didn’t hear it in this. That’s like a signature incantation from the game in my memory.
How I can do sacred light?
Referring to the Wiki:
-Ray or Holy Lance used 100+ times
-Over Limit mode must be active
-activated by using Ray or Holy Lance

Huh? "only ones". Are you referring to Dispel and Recover? The spells that only work if a target is afflicted with a magical or physical ailment?

In the coliseum, it forces you to solo with a specific character. In the PC version, I'm sure you can use Cheat Engine to modify your party in order to solo against the story bosses. It definitely adds on to the thrill of the battles.
Hi, I'm late but the reason why the audio clips are so low is because Namco did a poor job with mixing the audio for the newly-recorded material. If you did the Unison Artes, the audio clip for "Gungnir" and "Purgatory Seal" aren't there even though they exist. Notice how when she says "Inspect Magic!" the audio is barely audible? That's why. The reason why Sacred Light is audible is because it already existed in the Gamecube version; it was just unused. Hope that cleared things up if it hadn't already.
It makes no sense how she cant use Dark Magic or Spells
She's a white mage what white mage uses dark spells .

The NPCs with their lazy animation is too distracting. Like why did they even bother with moving them at all.
You mean the audience?
Honestly, I don't see them as being very distracting when you're playing the game. Watching a video might be a different story.
